    you can also lightly iron on freezer paper as a backing to prevent bleed through. this is a great tutorial, thanks!!!

    I use a lil heat with a blow dryer and that makes the adhesive stick way better. It's like fast forwarding time with the vinyl.

      There is no need to heat the vinyl and the heat can actually damage the screen if you heat it a bit too much.

    Can you leave the vinyl on?

      So you actually can’t. You have to wash the paint off or it ruins the screen which in turn washes off the vinyl. However you can make permanent screens with htv. You can actually remove the screen from the frame and change them out if you have designs you use all the time

    i just did some red koozies with white Speedball paint.... followed all your steps correctly. why are some of the white images faded in some areas? i pulled the ink down 3 times on each one. wanted the red koozies to have bright white images and this is not the case.

      White on bright colors is hard honestly it doesn’t always work great. I have yet to get a really bright white with screen print

      The frame can be used over and over. You can use any design you want

      @@gentryluz as stated in the video you wash the screen before the paint dries. You just simply rinse it with Luke warm water until it’s clean and allow it to air dry

    So how can you do a second coat for crisp lines and more uniform color on dark tshirts? I know they have a screen with a with a hinge hinge that allows you to pull it up and then replace it back down but I'm not sure how to keep the T-shirt in place for sure?

      You would need to flash dry it with a heat gun and place the screen back down getting it lined up again.

      Nope just regular light. Sunlight, house lights they all work.

    Great tutorial! I never thought to apply the ink before pressing the frame to the shirt! Does that step help with bleeding? I keep getting bleeding on my screen print projects it’s driving me nuts!

      It does help with bleeding. If you are getting bleeding also use less pressure and ink

    Corrine help. I am working on a project and I'm at the end of the rope. I have a design I made I have it in cricut ready to cut out. I want it to cut out as a sticker. I have it all on print/cut and had it print on some transfer vinyl. When I went to cut, it was cutting all the letters and objects out. I want it to just cut around it. HELP.

      Yes you can make multiple shirts with the screen but you’ll need to do them all at the same time before the screen dries

      Applied correctly htv will outlast your shirt. So if it’s not lasting long it’s not being applied correctly. These are two very different products. Screen print lasts just as long and as for easier I would say similar but less expensive especially if you are doing multiple shirts with the same design

      Just rinse it in warm water no soap required you can use your hand to rub off any thicker bits of paint

      As I said in the video just simply rinse it out well in the sink. You can remove the vinyl while you rinse it. Use Luke warm water. No need to scrub

      likely your transfer tape it too sticky. Try desticking it a little on your shirt or table
