Danny in the Encore: "I once was bound by sin🎶" George: "OOh but the Master came!! Me: "Spoilers, George!!" haha Wonderful song by one of the best tenors to sing!
I love Danny Funderburk, he is my all time favorite tenor. I'd love to sing with him just one time. That would be a dream come true for me. He's one awesome, talented tenor singer even today.
Watching this video reminds me that not too many years ago, these Christian artists would perform just about anywhere they could get a booking... tobacco warehouses, fairgrounds, etc... The Cathedrals performed at an old fairgrounds pavillion in my hometown back in the early 80's and what a crowd and what a great time of singing and praising God.
Marvelous...absolutely fantastic. I've never heard a more spirit filled singer than Mr Danny Funderburk. I'm not an emotional man by any stretch, but Danny's testimonies and spirit filled singing often bring a tear to my eye. Absolutely incredible.
Danny did an exceptional second verse after his testimony....I've never heard it live like that. very nice, even with the bugs flying around behind him......
Danny had power quality and range I would only rank Johnny Cook over him and I love Brian Free and the Classic Gold City different styles but all three are all top shelf quality and will be remembered as such. If you know a little history behind the scenes and the singers Johnny Cooks voice was a phenom from another planet as a person Danny is the whole package
