I bought a skirt almost exactly like this but in a really pretty beige/navy tartan material for about $1.50 with the idea to do this but I wasn't sure exactly how to actually do it. So I was so glad when I saw you posted this!

If you haven't already done so can you make a beginner sewing tips; what fabric to buy, what to start making first, and things like that, maybe a video like that? That would be so great because I love watching your ideas but i could never make any of these creations since I don't know how to start sewing. Do you remember how it was like when you first started sewing?
