+coolirpa It does look great :) But for safety I'd probably attach a dedicated choker piece to the end of the strings so the neck part couldn't accidentally be tightened (if it snagged on something). Thought I'd just throw it out here xD
have you ever tried making a duct tape double of yourself? I made one of my daughter and it was perfect. everything I made for her fit like a glove. of course, you would need someone to help you make it.
You have good instincts even when something does not go the way planned, your can do attitude and intuitive way of adjusting and creating is pretty awesome!
I love that you share with us your mistakes and how you would have prevented them and fixed them. So very cool and professional of you. Now we can all get better at this WITH you!! you rock!

I must say I love that you mentioned the troubles you had (like cutting off too much fabric and trying to do the cowl neckline) and then showing us how you dealt with. As a beginner sewer, it's great seeing what things I can do to fix problems like that :)
