Harbor freight orbital Polisher, 3in 5in and 6in hook and loop 40g and 80g 7in disc. Sand it once and its ready for your build up primer. I've spent the time and am currently at the point of primer and faring. I have a 18ft cat from Australia I'm restoring.
@dylanbefishing yeah, flip it over if you can. Makes the job a hundred times easier! I used some paint stripper covered in plastic for a day and it really softened it up. Helped a lot
I would be interested in buying that hull from you when it’s done. I am local, let me know! I love the project man! I have a 1964 17’ whaler that I am restoring now!
Boat restoration is 98 percent sanding, that belt sander made a lot of difference, awesome tip.
It’s no joke… that belt sander was definitely worth it
That stuff is a bee-atch to sand. Plus, with that humidity it probably balled up on the sandpaper making it even harder. Looking good!
I’m blessed right now it’s cool… come March or April 🥵
Man another amazing video that just gets me very inspired to finish my cajun center console!!!...thank you for all these awesome videos bro❤😮

@ It’s a tank can’t wait for finished 👍job
You should try Festool sand paper, I switched to it and it makes a world of difference in all grits, that 36 grit stuff is no joke and last forever
Definitely going to look into it thanks!

Thanks… it’s definitely a time consuming process
@dylanbefishing I plan for every other weekend to work on mine but things always get in the way, I'm almost 4yrs in the build.
Just stripped the bottom paint off of my boat. Not a fun job but I'm glad it's off.
Any other tips? lol I still have underneath to do
