So in Nevada, as an example.. if there is a different VIN on the cab... vs the frame.. the FRAME VIN becomes the legal VIN for the vehicle.. is that something that you have to deal with??
Yes Pennsylvania does the same thing, they call it a cab swap, they basically just reassign the VIN of the new cab, to what the frame/chassis originally was. In this case I'm using a 1500 truck as the cab donor, and Pennsylvania will just reassign that VIN as a 2006 2500HD
Sandblasting is nasty work! A friend of mine and I sandblasted the frame of my 1980 Dodge Power Wagon in his backyard. Afterwards, his entire yard (and neighbors) were completely covered with a layer of fine sand. His wife was so pissed that she didn’t want to speak to me for a month. They divorced a few years later…
It really is, I think I've learned my lesson now for sure, better to leave the sandblasting to the professionals. Also, seems like a very strong reaction over an outside mess.
This is going to be another awesome series! Great work on the frame Jason
Thanks, yeah I'm going to try and make it fun!
WOOHOO A 45 minute Mohawk movie!
