Can't wait to get one. Thanks Inglis,SDS.I have been looking at girsans to go with my older fn hi power and feg. This will be even better if good reliability .Great prices too.
My all time favorite semi auto pistol is a Hi Power. Love my Beretta 92X, love my 10mm Colt Delta Elite. But a Hi Power was simply made for my hand. Fits like a glove and points naturally.
Bought one this AM and I am Very happy with the pistol. Seven targets at seven yards with 4 to 5 Bulleyes and all kill shot at rapid fire. Two targets at 30 yards and 2 to 3 bullseyes and the rest still in a 3 1/2 inch group. Very reminiscent of my 1970’s high power that was an unbelievable shooter.
They’re made in turkey by a company who but the inglis name and had it stamped on a grisan. Don’t be so gullible and do some basic research. He literally said they purchased the trade mark and contracted to have them made, probably by the lowest bidder. Don’t by junk.
@@justlookingaround Do you own anything but an opinion on this? It says made in Turkey right on the frame and I don't believe there is any misleading content about that. The Turks have their QA issues but no more or less than any other manufacturer in this market space. Girsan v. Inglis: Girsan has that offensive safety warning on the frame, ceracoat finish, and magazine disconnect safety. SDS/Inglis doesn't have the billboard safety warning, has a better finish (black chromate over nickle plating), and has a better trigger b/c it doesn't have a mag disconnect safety. I have both the SA-35 (the safety detent was so poor it was sent back to the factory, which did resolve the issue per se, but not entirely,) and an Inglis L9A1. IMO the L9A1 is just as nice as the SA-35 for a couple hundred bucks less. Cocked and locked is comfortable with only a very positive safety lever. And the Girsan, Inglis, as well as the SA have mushey safety attenuation(every HP variant I have handled seems to have an inferior safety feel compared to the 1911+ models.) Unfortunately to achieve this positivity any of these HP models including OG FN Browning HPs need customs springs and tuning, so given one's expectations this model might come across as junk in inexperienced hands. I think the money one spent to deactivated the Mag safety and correct the safety detent on Girsan MC P35 pushes the cost up to around the $700 SA 35 Mark. For Jingoist the SA 35 is the only way to go. The SDS Inglis has a third party Distribution Interest similar to Cimarron line of products. Tisas of Yurkey is manufacturing the MC P35 and and the L9A1. I would prefer the 3rd party distribution the Cimarron and Taylor model as it simply is another level of QA. In the United States the distributor; European American Armory imports all Girsan product lines. The Inglis name was removed from Whirpool's corporate banner in the mid 1980s and relegate to a moniker for small househld appliances. ☮
I'm in Tech sales and I have been to tons of conferences, normally I try to get out of it at this point but I would absolutely love to go to shot show sometime!
Bought the p35. Love it. Took 200 rounds to get trigger snag to wear down. As long ad yall keep making all forged frame, slide, barrel, and parts, im a loyal Fan. Thanks
Longtime 1911 enthusiast. I have two Tisas 1911's and they are excellent pistols. I would expect the same from these Hi-Powers and definitely plan to buy one.
Reports say there are 3 models....base....nickel.... case-hardened look. As I enter the website...only the priciest case-hardened version is shown. What about the other 2 ? I see no mention of them on the website. Are they avilable?
Nice, but the Springfield Armory SA-35 Hi-Power eliminates the magazine disconnect that makes for a better trigger pull. Free falling magazine, for faster reloading, and better sights. Military parkerized like finish. Better thumb safety. The original Hi-Powers were made for military use. The Springfield Armory SA-35 Hi-Power is what the original Hi-Power should have been.
Got mines the case coating is already rubbing of in one range session . The barrel either chipped a piece or is defective and also Iv bin calling almost ever day for a week and there customer service doesn’t answer sorta shitty service and nothing has bin done Iv left voicemails with my name number email nothing . I like the gun but the service is shit .
This is not an Inglis Hi Power clone, this is a clone of the L9A1. They're not the same. Don't call it an Inglis and claim it's "Historically Accurate" if its not going to be. Otherwise you're pushing some False/Deceptive Advertising bushwah.
Did originals have an “ambi” safety? I don’t understand why companies don’t just make normal safeties, and then offer a left handed safety modification for free to lefties.
You're really complaining about getting an Ambi safety😂 The original design didn't have one but an Ambi safety is a definitive upgrade, lots of people that are right-handed put on aftermarket and safeties
“Who is your niche audience” “oh you know, collectors, military history buffs, people that enjoyed the Claire A scenario in Resident Evil 2”
Ohhh baby, that’s color case hardened model is too good 🥵
I went on Christmas Evan got it on the 27/ it’s beautiful 😮💨the color is amazing . The one I got has like a half blue gold front part looks awesome .

I ❤Tisas , Girsan,Canik pistols
Tisas, Girsan, and SARSILMAZ! I need to get a Canik too😅
@kevinallies1014you’re fault.
Turkey makes cheap consumer grade firearms for gullible Americans who don’t know what they are buying.
Finally we received a excellent offer from the original inglis high power company from
Canada, can’t wait to get mine!!

I think SDS/Tisas is awesome for doing this and they are well regarded as one of the best 1911 makers for the $, I definitely plan to get one as well.
I'm in Tech sales and I have been to tons of conferences, normally I try to get out of it at this point but I would absolutely love to go to shot show sometime!
Man if yall make it in FDE with G10 grips would be awesome.
Bought the p35.

It usually takes a while for things introduced at Shot Show to be available to consumers.
They’ll start shipping the L9A1 in March and the others in April. The guns met them at shot so they haven’t been able to upload them yet.
I want one!
Actual MkIII Hi-Power!! I'll take 4 right out the door!!
Christmas this year will be a breeze!!😂
Made in turkey for sds imports with inglis name stamped on it by grisan.
@justlookingaround And yet, I *still* remain undeterred.
Tisa's makes nice weapons, own 4 of their 1911 platforms and they all are fine shooters without the colt greed & poor quality control.
Is it just the case coating that has a limited run ?
Çok güzel silah Türkiye de satışı yok galiba
Now make one in a polished blued like the original one and MAN OH MAN!!!
So it's a Girsan Hi Power with an Inglis name.....wish Girsan would come out with a P-08 Luger clone.....
I suspect that Inglis = Tisas. Am I wrong???
Keep up the good work ! 🫡

Rumor is this doesn't have the disconnect either. And even if it does, you can remove it without too much hassle.
@@gamingandwhatevsyeah, just knock out the trigger pin and it’ll come right out
Does it have that silly mag safety ?
Someone shot one at Range day(I think it was Classic Firearms) and the Tisas/SDS Rep said they removed it.
I bought one last night. Is shoots without the magazine.

They work

MK3 had an ambi safety
