Today we're talking about products we don't normally review. Due to popular demand we are reviewing some Weber products today! Weber is an amazing company with a lot of products, but today we will be reviewing the original Kettle Weber and the Master-Touch series.
Breaking down the difference between the two grills was actually pretty simple. The Original Kettle is the first grill Weber brought to market. This grill is famous and is possibly one of the most popular. This grill comes with the basics. There are not many bells and whistles with this grill, but you can absolutely make some delicious food in this unit. The Master touch is the upgraded version of the original. It's bit larger, has color, and a few more bells and whistles. Some of the things that set it apart was the lid holder, thermometer, and the ash tray. These were all really nice upgrades from the original.
Be sure to watch out video to watch Trevor as he breaks down these two different Weber grill. As always we appreciate you taking the time to watch our videos! Be sure to leave a comment, leave a like, and subscribe! see you next week.

Weber had such a fan base for aftermarket parts, you can't go wrong with either of these.
First thing for me would be a hinge!

I hoped you were going to compare the Master Touch to the Original Kettle Premium, which has the one touch system and I think also may have the heavier grill grates, along with some other features. All three of those compared together would have been sweet.

Ill take the original any day. I have a performer deluxe, reason I picked the original. Lots of aftermarket parts. And I can add the ash catcher since I added a spider grills venom on my performer.

Both are kettles, both will perform well. If you want to smoke on them plan on getting a 22 or 26 inch.
The thing about kettles is about the only upgrade you need to do to get started is a gasket for the lid, even with "the og". The problem with the master touch is that the thermometer placement is useless. It should be by the vent so it does not sit directly over your fuel source and therefore give you a false read on your temperature.
TLDR version: the Weber kettle can grill, sear, smoke, and bake at the level of a grill costing several times more. You can trick them out or keep it simple, but bottom line is they work.

@@patrickhenry236 Nice, we will be giving another go at the Kettle grills. A lot of people gave us good advice on how to place the charcoal. The grill we have to review is the Napoleon Kettle Grill. Can't wait to show you. thanks for watching.

@@embersliving the napoleon is very similar to the Weber. I would recommend a few more resources. Can't remember if I sent it to you or not, but the site kettlepitmasterbbq is a "must browse through" for kettle owners. The virtual weber Bullet also has a forum with a section for charcoal grills. Someone just did a review and cook using an Aura Outdoor Products ceramic and stainless grill grate setup showing photos to explain.
I will look forward to the Napoleon video.

Weber’s lowest priced charcoal grill will make anything and everything taste better than the most expansive gas grill on the market. Safe and healthy 2022 to all.

I like the master touch, but I wish it didn't have the lid hanger attachment. I don't want more holes drilled into the grill.

that's true. I've been using it to cook at lunch. It's still pretty good though

Webers are mostly made in China now. Maybe packaged in the USA. Generally good cookers at economical price. But the 70th anniversary model is pretty but not worth the price. I have three Webers. If I were to obtain another it would be a Kamado. I purchased used. But I prefer the SnS grills which I may purchase their small one rather than a Weber Smokey Joe. Good for 1-3 people. Try the SnS Grills. I'm in Central Coast CA so no chance of me going to your store. But your reviews are nice, Just to know.

this review is weired, the O.G comes with a thermometer as well and it is only 173 EUR on amazon, I bet you were comparing with the B version of it and not the OG 5710 ;)
