This melted my heart seeing you with your grandparents! I too grew up being influenced in the kitchen by my grandmother who cooked authentic Mexican food and when I cook for friends, they are amazed at the dishes. Being blonde blue eyed I kinda like having that ace in my back pocket, lol.

She helped paved the way for some of the greatest recipes out there today. Nothing beats authentic Mexican food. I've extended my arms to give your beautiful family a big hug. Thank you,too for another great recipe.

What a precious abuelita you have, she reminds me of mine. My grandma could speak very little English also. She was a wonderful cook, I wish I could have learned more of her cooking skills but my dad was in the military so we moved around so much. But when I was with my grandma I would watch her prepare her food which was always so delicious.

Excellent recipe, very good video presentation, no unnecessary gabbing, great attitude, pleasant voice and demeanor, you're a natural teacher. Your Grandfather is right, toasting or even blackening chilies not only will darken the color of the sauce but it will also bring great flavor as well. I like to char my chilies over charcoal or a wood burning fire, once you've had fire roasted chilies (and I know you have) it's hard (for me) not to use them for every chili recipe. Thanks for your channel - what time will dinner be ready? I'll bring the Tequila and beer!

Wow!!!!I enjoyed the video as always. Your grandmother so precious. Brought back memories of my own grandma. She passed away,, this coming December will be her 10 year anniversary of her passing😣. Please hug your grandmother and give her a kiss from me. Even though you guys don't know who I am. 1 of the things that it pains me not being able to do, is give my grandmother hugs and kusses.😣take care.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother. My condolences to you and your family. I definitely know the time I have left with my grandmother is limited. I appreciate you watching the video and leaving kind words. Thank you! :)
