I have really appreciated these Donnie videos cause sometimes on social he’s prickly about his copycats or just influencers in general, but seeing him in this format shows how authentic and down to earth he is.
My gym has one, it's definitely a very large weird looking set-up but a great, smooth ROM for leg presses. Probably the best leg press i've ever tried IMO. I feel like leg presses that are horizontal have less shearing strain on the lower back vs. the ones where the load is above you
My gym acquired one of these several months ago. I had never seen or even heard of one. I thought it looked like a gimmick. Now I feel compelled to give it a try.
there was 1 of these at the Powerhouse gym I trained at when I was 16-17 in St. Peters, MO. I loved it. They closed down and I have never seen one since.
I've used the H-Squat in Norway and Austria, great exercise but extremely inconvenient to use and takes up A LOT of space. The movement mechanics are actually very similar to the current V-Squat, with much less of a footprint.

@@jakeheidenreich4607 that's spot on. Hanging out in person was a super positive experience

My all time favorite Donnie Thompson product is the Fat Pad, often imitated but never duplicated

Good thing this trip happened prior to current injury

@Massenomics oof. That was 21 years ago. I'm not sure if it's still there.
Looks like something you climb upon so all the farmers can witness your demise a little better , very French 😂 brilliant.
Is this what I need for my legs to finally be strong?

Fatbells. They take up a lot of space for a few sets but it feels more difficult than a dumbbell of the same weight
Older Fella bloody cheek 😆

Turn it vertical, it looks just like a squat.
