I started a home gym maybe 10 years ago. And it’s one of the best investments I ever made. My best advice is to get only what you need at first and add over time. I’ve been slowly expanding my variety a little every year. The equipment isn’t that expensive but we’re all working with limited square foot of space. Use that space as efficiently as you can.
My last purchase was also a second-hand site. I bought a 20kg Olympic bar from a guy, and 255kg of weight plates for $200 total. These were worth €1000. Top deal for me! This way, a home gym can be cheaper than a commercial gym.
I think most important is to know what your fitness goals are! If you’re a Powerlifter then getting a set of calibrated plates and a Power Bar makes more sense to you then someone whom is a Oly Lifter or Crossfitter or General Fitness or Bodybuilding. If you don’t oly lift, you might not even need bumpers at all. Knowing your fitness goals helps you know what NOT to buy. Things can always change, but no sense in buying things you won’t use.
Saving money with a home gym? It's a little like saving on your grocery bill by gardening, hunting, and fishing. It's technically possible, but not likely. You garden, hunt and fish because you enjoy it. And yeah, I LOVE my home gym.

1 way to save a lot of money.... go to someone else's home gym 😅 I have my own, but my brother told me i could go over to his place to use his equipment that i don't have(he's walking distance from my house).
You missed the best way to get a good deal: justify your equipment purchases against an expensive gym membership. I found a $200+ /mo gym by me, so I set my home gym budget around that. Makes it easier to sell the wife on big purchases, and she loves that I'm being so frugal and price conscious. She doesn't need to know about the cheap cookie cutter gyms...
Best strategy....don't buy useless crap. Everyone on his facebook group, and probably you too, are obsessed with all the shiny, new, expensive things they don't need. Same or better results using less equipment and less flashy movements.
Chased out of my own country. Moved 4 gyms in 6 months because of harassment from the invasion of INDIAN men in Canada. Finally resorted to making a home gym.
Home gym to save money? No... build a home gym to have your own space and never have to wait in line to use equipment. I would take 15 years of use for me to "get my money worth" and that's only if I stop buying new equipment which won't happen because I have a problem

You can do the exercises you want when you want too
i do it to save time and convenience.
1 way to save a lot of money.... go to someone else's home gym 😅 I have my own, but my brother told me i could go over to his place to use his equipment that i don't have(he's walking distance from my house).
wake me up when the rogue rhino goes on sale 🤣
Next video please: make home Gym’s Expensive Again, for those who wanna spend money‼️ thank C🤑😳P‼️🤷🏾♂️

With all the tariffs coming our way, GOOD LUCK
95% sure I went to high school with you Cooper. Shoot me a message, don’t want to mention it publicly if trying to remain anonymous
Me 20k into my home gym….yah! Savin money
Buy used stuff?
Got a big cart
#1 you are not strong enough to need such an expensive cage
Most Canadian women just sleep with them so they get left alone
The biggest lie ever told is that a home gym saves us money
Who builds a home gym to save money?
Drain the swamp
❤❤❤🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Yeah nobody starts a home gym to save money
I saved so much money already I'm broke.
Been keeping an eye out for the Rep Quickdraws, down to $400 for the 60lb set.
It’s thousands of pounds cheaper just to go to a globo gym
Nope,it's time im.saving and people im avoiding
I hate waiting for equipment
lol got to get a home first
Was that Coops mother in laws place? 😂
Home gym to save money? No... build a home gym to have your own space and never have to wait in line to use equipment. I would take 15 years of use for me to "get my money worth" and that's only if I stop buying new equipment which won't happen because I have a problem
Bro, you are actively causing home gyms to be more expensive. Before you talked about it, the Nordic Hyper was $800. Now their "black friday biggest discount ever price" is $1200. I hate you.
Lol coopey don't be loopey
If you’re reading this I want you to know Jesus loves you
Building something yourself should not be looked down upon. You can be proud of what you made. Being proud of a purchase is kind of silly.
