This is the third of your deconstruction-videos of the Monkees I've watched so far. Man, this is raw and real. Totally enjoy hearing every instrument isolated and on its own. And as a Nesmith-fan I love to hear Mike's pure voice as well. I mean, I knew he could sing, but only when you hear his voice all on its own do you realize HOW WELL he could actually sing. And it's pure and real; not this modified crap of today. I absolutely love your videos. Thanks so much for going through the effort and sharing this! 💙🧡
As far as the studio version, the non-soundtrack studio mix is my favorite. Everything was all cleaned up on that, and the drums weren't buried in the mix. This version had the lead vocal track mix that sounded like it was recorded from the next room over...in the released version. You did a great job with it here.
Excellent! I think the vocal isolation is pretty darn good actually, Hope you can do the live version...I feel Peter's bass line on that is the superior one
Love this song, but it was a rare Nes L when he insited on including this version over the superior live version. Hopefully we can get an isolation of that track too! Again, thank you for your efforts :^)
I wish there was a deeper library of Monkees songs with Nez on electric guitar. I think he's a really underrated rhythm guitar player. That part is the magnet holding all the pieces together in "Circle Sky."
@@BobDobbs-Woolhat1 I was going to deconstruct that version eventually! Also you are definitely not asking for too much, I love seeing what people want me to deconstruct because honestly, I don’t have much of a direction planned for this channel.

Awesome! It's like a whole new song. Thanks!
thank you so much for this!!!
I would really love a deconstruction of the live version of Circle Sky but i know i am asking for too much.

That bass sounds like a broken rubber band ! 😂😂
Thank you again! You made this re-mix possible: th-cam.com/video/inKYaDgPjf0/w-d-xo.html
I always wondered if Metallica ripped off the opening riff for Master of Puppets.
I don't think so; you can't go wrong with a descending chromatic riff!
