As i have already told you, pcc bed is constructed below the footing and it provides support to the footing.
As you can clearly visualize from the animation show in this video, Pcc bed lies below the footing and provides the necessary support to it.
The dimensions of pcc bed depends upon the size of footing.
In this tutorial i have explained briefly about the estimation of footing PCC concrete, the shuttering area required, the Bitumen paint area, the polythene sheet area and the termite control area required for footing PCC bed. This topic is about quantity surveying of sub structure (concrete part)
