It's actually accessible outside of sculpt mode it's option is just at the top of render tab and it should be on the tools tab at the editor properties.
The word VDM does not appear once in the description nor in the title. Sounds a bit better than your "FREE" which doesn't really help anyone to find that video.
Not everyone knows what Vector Displacement Maps even are, I think that’s the people this creator was targeting. With that said I love me the VDM brushes in Blender! Now we’re really giving ZBrush a run for its money 🎉🎉
I think I’ve tried to use that brush manager and can’t get the top header/ loader/ browser area to load reliably in properties. Only with the key command. What are you using? what version? It seems perfect for my needs except that it won’t load the area that’s kind of very important.
@@planefusionart this is tingjoybits brush manager 1.30 and it’s fantastic, except for this one thing I can’t figure out. It’s not specific for VDB brushes, just a general brush manager but with a lot of options. I’ll look into what you’re talking about though
Well crap. I changed a bunch of related settings and restarted blender and it’s showing up now. I don’t know which setting it was that mattered though. It’s v cool. Looks like the one in the video. I’ll still check out the baker addon
I made a vdm brush in less than 5 minutes and it worked perfectly. When I close Blender and open again, I can not find the brush. I found the exr file but have absolutely no idea how to grab it and use it. Would be nice if I could figure out how to save the brush for easy retrieval. This is driving me crazy and Im wasting too much time trying to figure this out.
You lost me at 1:35s, too fast, don't know what you're doing/saying. Please consider teaching this stuff rather than commentating, which is a different thing altogether.
