Do this.... open the mail app... long press the green 'maximize button", it will ask you to snap the screen to left or right. Pick a side, then select another app to snap to the other side. Now you have two app windows snapped side by side. OK, now over down to your dock and let's say you need to use the calculator with that new split screen you just created... click to open calculator. See what happens. Yeah.... macOS.
I bought a M2 Macbook Air about 2 weeks ago,upgrading from my iMac It is a great laptop even on base specifications but if you're gonna buy it -First, upgrade to 16GB Ram,8GB is barely enough even now and 2 years down the line only 8GB will not be enough -Second, unless you don't have hands the Midnight color will not look good because of fingerprints, i get that its novel but come on you're gonna use this machine for years Also if you can't decide between M1 or M2 Air (if you have money) go with M2, its way better with the new flat design,notch will be on every Apple laptop from now on so it will be way more futureproof and with the "Always Show Menubar" option on macOS you can do something you could never do on an older Mac, the difference that 0,3 inches make :)

The biggest negative is that it runs macOS. macOS feels verified cramped on a laptop. Windows just feels much bigger and easier to use on smaller screens.
@@i0423x People who like macs suddenly feel windows is ugly. Strange. Never met a mac user who said “hey windows is not bad, I just like Mac better”. That’s the issue with mac users. Mac is nicely designed and it’s functionality is edellent, I just don’t like the feel of the user interface.
Forget windows pc just buy a 14/16-inch MacBook Pro or a Mac Studio if you going to need so much power. M2 MacBook Air is fast, it can edit & do Pro work on Final Cut Pro.
