4:00 The maulers are legit bros. After Angaston took off the helmet and killed one of his brother and blow up the devices, he still care about him and wanted to send him to a hospital. Maulers are probably the most likeable characters in the series.
Yeah I love them so happy they're pretty much a thing for the whole Invincible series I remember them later on helping to rebuild the cities If I remember correctly in Robots arc he promised them something in return like not being put in prison again or something like that
Starting off by showing Angstrom Levy’s life in his dimension where Invincible and Omni-Man rule was brilliant on the show’s part as it got me to sympathize and understand why he ends up going mad The comic just started with him being introduced through getting the Maulers to do his dirty work So I think in that regard the show nailed his introduction better
when I read the comic he's introduced so casually I assumed he was some Image character I didn't know about since they have more crossovers in the comic.
That was neat but that wasn't the interdimensional Levy, that was a variant that happened to be saved by Levy at the last minute. It does help to show how the Prime Levy loses his mind by having the combined memories off all his variants, most of them holding grudges towards evil Marks.
I can tell from episode one that Invincible season 2 is going to be great. It even seems like they have a great villain origin story. Angstrom Levy seemed like a truly good person that wanted to help not only his world but many, many, many others. And when you think about it, he saved Mark's life when he took the helmet off. If he did not, the Maulers would have beat him to death. Even when he was in the middle of accomplishing his ultimate goal, Angstrom cared about someone trying to stop him enough to try and save that person's life. Now that he has the memories of all his alternate selves, combined with the pain and disfigurement he is suffering through, he now is consumed with hatred for Mark. Keep in mind that in most dimensions, Mark actually ends up siding with his father to take over the Earth, so Angstrom has a lot of memories of Mark doing terrible things.
Yeah in this season he kind of acts as the opposite of omni-man: Instead of being an incredibly powerful person with incredibly bad intentions for the planet, he starts out as a kind but physically weak person with noble intentions.
Still I would think the Maulers couldn’t kill Mark even with the severe beating he got considering the massive explosion that killed 99% of all the Maulers and Mark was fine with no injures of the blast
@@KeyIssues makes you wonder how tf was Mohawk-cible able to take control of the empire and defeat Thragg (assuming he even found out about his heritage, like did he know he was the real heir before going to war with Thragg or did he just lay waste to them until it was discovered?), if he failed to steamroll mainline Mark during the Invincible War? It could just be that they discovered his bloodline before Thragg could do anything about it. The implications of the Flaxan Mark make me think that shit could be so fundamentally different in some timelines there could be changes in Viltrumite physiology.
Atom Eve made Angstrom understand that he's lost his way, and he seemed genuine about giving up his vendetta against Invincible. However, before he could even tell those words to him, the consequences of his past actions came back to bite him wich resulted in him having to endure hellish pain before being killed off. It is almost tragic, since he was THIS CLOSE to getting a redemption arc. You might think that he doesn't deserve one considering what he did and how many people he's killed, but remember that Omni-Man, Anissa, the rest of the viltrumites and The Mauler Twins got spared, so why wouldn't he?
The problem with Angstrom is that he let his ego get the best of him. That he genuinely believe HE was the hero. HE was the only one that could save the multiverse. That was his biggest problem. His motives were good. His methods weren't.

In a way though, Mark Carry's on Angstroms dream of creating a Utopian universe driven purely for peace. He succeeds in even turning war based empires and civilizations away from doing just that through generally peaceful if not none violent ways, if anything only beating them at their own games or having others beat up their challangers (if violence is truely needed). Generally though Mark unknowingly creates the universe that Levy had dreamed to make himself through his own selves, even putting himself in danger from complete erasure just to do it. Makes me wonder though what his son was hoping to do at not only a young age but I doubt with anything special about him. Outside the portals again. Also makes me wonder if they were planning to have Mark finally reconcile with Levy's unknown son.
Cecil and Mark would have avoided a lot of trouble if they teamed up with Angstom from the very beginning. Even Rex should have been aware of the full potential of Angstom to improve the world(s). I mean Angstom could have brought the good Invincibles and Omni Man from other dimensions to join the war against the Viltrumites from different dimensions.
Looking forward to seeing who else is coming up in these videos. Considering this latest episode showed a previously dead character back, I'm wondering if they will be a candidate

Even if Levy couldn't somehow teleport Invincible away from the maulers for whatever reason like he needs to keep track where he ends up, he could just teleport the maulers away since they aren't cooperating with him anymore and Invincible was almost pretty much knocked out

@@violentgravy01 I’m not sure you understand “infinite”. If there are infinite universes that means there’s one where you are doing jumping Jacks, right now, as you read this. There’s one where you and I are eating lunch together. Infinite…people have no idea how terrifying that word really is.

I wonder if it would had been possible for Angstrom to have had built his device in the wasteland reality by teleporting parts there instead of building it in Mark Prime's reality to avoid causing a scene that led to the explosion
Always loved him and the premise. It's a perfect story, tottally believable if it was to happen and shows good intentions. Where his whole villainy is from trying a sad mistake.
I find it funny how he said most realities they team up but if there’s an infinite amount of realities then there’s an infinite amount of ones where the team up or fight against each other
Only thing I don’t understand about levy is he said he had multiple different safe houses with different versions of him but only one blew up, why is he so mad? Why did they never bring up his other safe houses?
How he try to save invincible and now he wants to kill him. Frustrating. And how he wasn't able to tell invincible that he had good intentions. So frustrating
He hates Invincible because other versions of himself from the multiverse all hate Invincibles. And since the accident from the explosion corrupted his brain, he can't differentiate their thoughts from his.
@@blair5475 yeah. That's definitely a good breakdown. Is just before his brain got mixed up he could have had a few lines about that. So i would have been better prepared. I like to think that nothing went wrong with the machine (besides exploding) and he would have ALWAYS turned out looking like that even i if Mark never showed up at all.
Mark had a TLOU2 dilemma. Seeing your enemy already in a state of torture or death at the hands of another and beint unable to murder them because in that moment you see them as a helpless person.

Then around the point where he gets all hooked up, it came back And oh boy I'd pay to see my face at that moment
In another words Angstrom he just had the hots for Eve and because of that one encounter he just abandoned everything so after all the trouble caused by this brain blob buffon of a freak once again Marcus showing the he just can't get the job done once again doing the invincible thing snatching losing from the jaws of victory
my friends and i were talking about what if we were to be in the invincible universe what power would we want and I chose Angstom's power it's so versatile a lot of people don't understand i just think levy used it soo wrong be if i had that power i would be somewhere as a God/King with all the girls in peace
All that because he couldn't communicate he was using the knowledge machine for altruistic reasons. The only Invincible that he could have left alone and its the one he focuses on.
Agreed, just saw the first ep and he seemed like an interesting character, then hearing the rest of his actions in the comic, I'd rather have it removed as it comes off as a convoluted filler. It really only serves to kill off the evil Mark's (there are worse/stronger villains) and setup robot's betrayal, while adding a bunch of plot holes.
@@anfernyjackson9013it's true Angstrom doesn't really have an impact on the wider story but I always found his purpose in the series is to further Marks emotional arcs. Every time he shows up it challenges Mark and his beliefs and with the series thematic point of "what does it mean to be a hero" he's a really effective villain for pushing that idea. It would’ve killed the plot they wanted to run with lol if he saves him he doesn’t take the helmet off and want revenge etc
@ParseeMedia That sounds like the definition of a plot hole lol
@@Gravecoyote Did you think of that idea as it was happening or was it hindsight?
@@lucasbroome1048 As it was happening, I was like "OK he just gotta portal all the naulers or just Mark" and then he pulled the helmet off and I was like "Bro that should've been like your last option"
Invincible can fly…
It sounds like the mark we follow is the only Angstrom has known that didn’t side with viltrumites, so he wouldn’t have a pool to pull from really
Looking forward to seeing who else is coming up in these videos. Considering this latest episode showed a previously dead character back, I'm wondering if they will be a candidate
If youre thinking about who i think youre thinking about... we will have a video on said returning homie.
@@KeyIssues I tried to be vague so as there will be some people who haven't seen it yet. So time will tell if we are speaking of the same person
That's because Donald is a robot
We’re in the peak of superhero tv shows right now .
I thought it was the death toll, given all the recent deconstructions
Im not going to lie, I always thought of it as levy too lol.
You dont even want to know how badly I mispronounced words like Magneto, or Arachnid
I was actually hoping for Keith David to voice him but Sterling k Brown is a good choice too
Aside from Conquest and Kregg, Angstrom is definitely Marks hardest villain and I would agree it’s his arch nemesis
Yea armstorm is actually is invincible arch enemy. The dude pretty much know every thing about him at least in other dimensions which he probably confuse to his own invicinble but the location does obvious located to him.
Kregg? Not Thragg?
Eve has talk no jutsu
LoL, the Cel-phone is the First Generation Nokia, it didn't flip. That Fancy stuff came in a few years later ( just dated myself) lol ;) Great vid. Glad i found it.
Yeah buddy that's what I've been waiting for
gotta hunch seasons gonna end on mark seemingly killing levy and saying i thought you were stronger
So if Levy can open a portal to any dimension, this includes The Boys dimension?👀
Yes
Or anime dimensions and our dimensions
Even if Levy couldn't somehow teleport Invincible away from the maulers for whatever reason like he needs to keep track where he ends up, he could just teleport the maulers away since they aren't cooperating with him anymore and Invincible was almost pretty much knocked out
I actually like this take on the bigger brain thing. It's a part of his back now instead of just a giant head. Only other time I ever saw this kind of pure distinction is with the Ultimate Marvel version of The Leader.
If there are infinite numbers of dimensions, then there are an infinite number of individuals with this same exact ability.
As it says. He was the only one, making him unique.
@@violentgravy01 I’m not sure you understand “infinite”. If there are infinite universes that means there’s one where you are doing jumping Jacks, right now, as you read this. There’s one where you and I are eating lunch together. Infinite…people have no idea how terrifying that word really is.
@jRockyStep hey I didn't say that. The video did. So stop taking your Lovecraftian, existentialistic nihilism out on me if you can't watch a video thoroughly.
But isn't it strange that infinity doesn't frighten you, but the idea that there might be something that isn't infinte throws you off?
@@jRockyStep infinity is just a number, it doesn't mean everything is possible. In every infinite even number, there is only one 2, and there is a unique Angstorm Levy. People really don't understand what the the word is.
@@jRockyStep Just because something is infinite doesn't mean it's limitless and anything could happen just because. There are infinite numbers between 1 and 2. You will never get a 3.
as soon as he reformed from a talk no jutsu he died, thats a sad villain
Bro should have just filed a permit so the local police knew what he was doing.
I wonder if it would had been possible for Angstrom to have had built his device in the wasteland reality by teleporting parts there instead of building it in Mark Prime's reality to avoid causing a scene that led to the explosion
I’m guessing we’re getting a Bulletproof video next? Love these man keep it up.
Your guess is extremely… extremely… accurate. Lol
You were the reason i been pronouncing this dudes name wrong
Why wouldn’t he choose an abandoned dimension to do his experiment in?
god-complex
An abandoned dimension wouldn't have the infrastructure to support the mind copying machine he was running. He still needed electricity 😂
@@AC-iz7eh so bring a thousand of the smartest people from all dimensions to build it…🤡
@juu9do278 Plus all the Invincibles & Omni men are bad in other universes, they would have attacked and killed him if he had gone there
@@blair5475thought about that why didn't he just do It on another planet he can teleport people and materials so it wouldn't be too hard
Always loved him and the premise. It's a perfect story, tottally believable if it was to happen and shows good intentions. Where his whole villainy is from trying a sad mistake.
Levy being trully the definition of mental breakdown
7:41 Man, Spawn just knows how to get around, bet his favorite wingman is Stan Lee.
2:17 so is multiversal Angstroms the Wayan bros? 😂
I find it funny how he said most realities they team up but if there’s an infinite amount of realities then there’s an infinite amount of ones where the team up or fight against each other
babe wake up, the new yakube vid dropped
That's a Nokia 3310 my dude, the most famous phone ever
Angstrom Levy is the most tragic character in the whole series. Literally in the wrong place at the wrong time, every single time.
7:26 Why does Rudy in this comic look like freaking Shaggy Rogers from Scooby-Doo? 💀💀
Marks empathy and his inability to kill the people who are trying to murder him and his loved ones is truly his biggest flaw
Dude it’s time.
Give us History of Dinosaurous
Only thing I don’t understand about levy is he said he had multiple different safe houses with different versions of him but only one blew up, why is he so mad? Why did they never bring up his other safe houses?
even if the dinosaur talks, mark wouldn't understand what they speaks...or if they're talking at all.
Finally, it's finally back.
The draught ends
@@KeyIssues May the algorithm bless you with endless love 🤘🏼🐺🤘🏼
How he try to save invincible and now he wants to kill him. Frustrating.
And how he wasn't able to tell invincible that he had good intentions. So frustrating
We're you not paying attention to the post credit scene?
@@kermitgotthesickkicks4265 naw. What happened?
He hates Invincible because other versions of himself from the multiverse all hate Invincibles. And since the accident from the explosion corrupted his brain, he can't differentiate their thoughts from his.
@@blair5475 yeah. That's definitely a good breakdown.
Is just before his brain got mixed up he could have had a few lines about that. So i would have been better prepared.
Or maybe if he had took off the helmet to try save Eve or some one else instead of invincible.
Just me being nit picky. I think it bothered me in the comic and then the show it reminded me again.
And its one of those situations where u hate to see him turn bad. I need a "what if" episode for this. Haha
So Angstrom in a nutshell is basically a walking talking Portal Gun from Rick & Morty.
This is one of the worst sentences I've had the displeasure of reading
MORTY I HAVE A BRAIN-MULLET MORTY.
@@KeyIssues "BRAIN MULLET RICK!"
When numerous teams compete against one another in order to become champion it is known as tournaments
Levy could be a hero , could make multiple universes much better.
Patiently waiting on episode 2
I like to think that nothing went wrong with the machine (besides exploding) and he would have ALWAYS turned out looking like that even i if Mark never showed up at all.
Mark had a TLOU2 dilemma. Seeing your enemy already in a state of torture or death at the hands of another and beint unable to murder them because in that moment you see them as a helpless person.
man just pulled out the mystery movies intro music 💀
I am back for your s2 videos❤
Welcome back we missed you, how you been?
Why would Angstom recruit other marks when he belives them to be evil and himself to be a good guy?
He views them as a means to an end. He had already lost to his Mark once. What’s stronger than a viltrumite? 20 viltrumites.
I remember watching those old videos well over a year ago now, and when I started season 2, I'm like, "Angstrom... Hmm, Angstrom... I know this name, I know that guy, but who is he again?"
Then around the point where he gets all hooked up, it came back
And oh boy I'd pay to see my face at that moment
Broooo, how they recruit Spawn bro if this season shows us crossover characters that would be crazy
Angstrom is an awesome antagonist
In another words Angstrom he just had the hots for Eve and because of that one encounter he just abandoned everything so after all the trouble caused by this brain blob buffon of a freak once again Marcus showing the he just can't get the job done once again doing the invincible thing snatching losing from the jaws of victory
got it, hes that guy from venture bros
Cool intro 🎉
A “long, long hiatus”…well now we know someone hasn’t played half life.
my friends and i were talking about what if we were to be in the invincible universe what power would we want and I chose Angstom's power it's so versatile a lot of people don't understand i just think levy used it soo wrong be if i had that power i would be somewhere as a God/King with all the girls in peace
When i read the comics my brain said Levy, not lee-vy, so im with you brother
All that because he couldn't communicate he was using the knowledge machine for altruistic reasons. The only Invincible that he could have left alone and its the one he focuses on.
I really hope in the series that Angstom's plot isn't so redundant and repetitive.
Dinosaurus and Powerplex are the same, ultimately don't matter for the main plot line but really important in Marks development as a hero
really like -Brainiac- Levy after he went big brain mode
S2E1 made no sense - why didn't portal guy just make Mark disappear through a portal at end instead of talking the helmet off??!
Now this is a valid plot hole.
Because kirkman wanted this way
Honestly with damage done to his mind and body along with all his hardwork down the drain can blame levy
His own fault for taking the helmet off.
Would be funny if during the dimension-hopping shenanigans, they end up in Void Rivals lol. Would be a funny nod now that Kirkman has that series and the rights to Transformers.
so, he is basically a Kang of the Conqueror but a Walmart version
Alright i give up. Someone tell me why SPAWN is in the invincible war panel
Levy sounds better then "levy" sounds
Agreed
At this rate the show is going it won't be done until the 2030's...
