For sectional lapping with the ROTAGO 8 the main spindle can be set to a range of movement, avoiding any creation of edges or steps. The customer determines the start and end points.
With this third movement, it prevents any unevenness, edges, and also possible scratches from lodged abrasive particles.
Installation:
The Rotago machines allow for easy installation of the balls from above because the main spindle is in horizontal position. This is very helpful when having to install heavier balls.
Additional feature:
Mess-free lapping with the lapping compound being caught below the ball for easy disposal.
