I used to have to do one or two pieces at a time in back alley shops with only a lathe and a Bridgeport to make my own tooling.

What is the costt?
In that style of valve I remove the nozzle and give it to the machinist. Now I can see doing this to the 1811 safety valve which doesn't have a removable nozzle . Consolidated dresser has a sweet little machine that cuts the 1700 style safety valves which cuts angles and flat surfaces at the same time . Nice video though.
