QUESTION: When you're faced with rejection, which of these 3 paths do you end up taking? The friend zone path, the forget them path or the future growth path?
Honestly The day before Valentine's day got rejected. But my crush said we were better off as friends so friend zone. I tend to forget about her but not in a mean way. And i am planning was to improve better in the future. So basically all 3.
I was rejected by my crush a couple of days ago. I knew that being rejected was a possibility but yet again I was deeply hurt. That person had shown signs of being interested in me and this hurt me even more. :(

I got rejected a few months ago, it hurt a lot. I liked her for at least 2 years and she seemed interested too. Which made it worse, but to everyone who'll read this: a gf and a bf is something you want, NOT SOMETHING you need. So just focus on yourself, she/he wasn't perfect. No one is. And yes, you were good enough. She/he just didn't see your worth.

I got rejected once and honestly I couldn't be happier. I now am more confident then ever and talking to more people. Yeah it did hurt when the rejection was still fresh in my wound but I eventually got over it. I think it would help to look at rejection as a way to grow. I even started lifting and gain some decent muscles.

How do we know if a girl likes us boys? There's a girl that always plays around throwing paper balls. Puts them my hoodie, heck even use to pull on it as well as my arm. There was this girl that seemed to be into me, smiling, saying hi, we'd look at each other a bit during class and had a few small conversations. I didn't have class with her recently but I saw her on my way to class, so I went to try and talk to her a few weeks back, but after saying hi she cut the conversation short and walked away :( I really thought she liked me back.
Hey I wouldn't count yourself out just yet. Just because you had one experience like that doesn't mean she's closed off and doesn't want to talk to you anymore. You might have caught her at a bad time that one time.

I saw her again today. I was sitting at one of the outside tables along the sidewalk, but I didn't try to talk to her :( I was too nervous. Now I regret not talking to her, I just dont wanna come off as creepy.

I was rejected just yesterday by a girl I’ve been friends with for 3 years now, and it hasn’t been easy dealing with it. This is a girl who’s dated other guys who were my friends before I can get a chance to ask or out or anything for a while. We’ve made each other laugh and smile, along with two other friends I’d consider a group. She’s seemed interested and she even said I was cute on multiple occasions. Then after that, we moved onto high school where we’ve mostly parted ways as a group and we hardly talked. Then come Sophomore year, we all by chance decided to start a group chat and talk to each other again, so we started having fun as a group once again. Then last July, we pretty much just stopped messaging each other, all though we would still have the occasional small talk in some things we would post on Instagram or on our stories. Then yesterday, she posted that she didn’t have anything planned for Valentine and if someone else was free to go out with her, she would be free too. So, I thought this was my opportunity to ask her out since she doesn’t have a boyfriend. So I decided to go for it, and basically asked her if she would like to go out or do something. But she gave a response I wasn’t expecting: “I don’t believe you.” So I was confused as to why she thought that and asked, “How come?” And she responded with, “We literally have not talked to each other for years” and she followed that up with her having trust issues. I was so baffled with those responses because the first statement wasn’t even true. We did talk for a while last year and even after we didn’t talk as much, we still did here and there. The point is we did talk a lot and even if she thinks she haven’t, this would be our opportunity to get to know each other better, so that confuses me even more. She also said, “I got trust issues, stop playing.” I have literally never done anything to this girl that would cause her to lose trust in me. Why would she think that I would for some reason, emotionally manipulate her and take back my decision to ask her out. I was pissed off by this, but holding back my anger, I replied with, “We have talked though, it’s fine if you don’t remember. It might have not been as much as we have talked since 2 years ago, but we have talked enough and here and there. It’s fine if you don’t want to go out with me, but just know that I’m being completely genuine and honest with you. I don’t mean it as a joke, nor am I lying to you.” She replied with, “Wait sorry I’m just in shock from this. I didn’t expect this, especially coming from you” I replied, “Apology accepted. And yeah, I wouldn’t expect you to, but that’s fine. So are you going to give me an answer. Remember that there’s no shame in saying no, that’s completely understandable. I don’t want you to accept because you felt bad about me or anything.” And she hasn’t responded to that. She has the audacity to not even answer my question and be a respectful person and respond. I’m not even sad by the rejection, I’m just mad by how she went about it. She doesn’t even take my feelings into account here, even though I’m putting myself in a vulnerable situation. She thinks we haven’t talked enough even though we have and that we don’t know each other well enough anymore, and she thought that I was lying or joking with her, and she doesn’t even have the courtesy to respond back to me. All she could have said was “Oh no thank you. I’m sorry but I’ll have to decline.” And that would’ve been enough to not make me upset at all. This is one of the best videos I've ever seen about rejection on TH-cam. When we talk about being rejected, most people tell us to ask someone else out and keep asking women out until we find one that says yes. I have never felt comfortable with that because I don't like asking out strangers. I have social anxiety and It's hard for me to do that. Also, I feel that I need someone that has more of a similar energy and interests to me and It's hard to do that when you're trying to chat up random women in the street. I've always liked to ask out women that I know a little more. That way I know what kind of person I'm getting. Rejection is the worst coming from them because you know that person well enough to like them for more than just their physical appearance. I like the idea of finding new people to ask out by joining clubs or doing group activities with groups that you can easily leave behind. That way you don't have to keep seeing that person and you won't come off as tacky if others know that you're just looking for a girlfriend.
I'm not really a move on person because I keep fighting and fighting, but I'm just gonna take a break from my crush and focus on my grades. Then come back to her. Things happen for a reason. Give her space for awhile. Come back. I tried moving on from her over 5 times then we ended up being in the same 4th period. Clearly the universe wants us to not move on from each other.
If anyone here is shy or scared about asking their crush out , don't be ! Just do it if they say yes then congrats but if they say no then also congrats cuz u did something that most people are afraid of doing and that creates good memories when you grow up.

But it’s just the way life goes. Even if you know that you would be great together they don’t really know that. But someday when the right person comes along both of you will really like each other and want to be with each other. Love can’t really be forced it’s kinda natural. I experienced rejections from my crushes many times every semester in college because I had many crushes before. Instead, I used them as one of my inspirations to study smart and positive vibes to make me happy. Besides, that experiences teach me to become resilient in different adversaries in life. Lastly, I never focus on being negative about myself, instead I focus on improving myself to adapt in different situations.
I got rejected today and to be honest I don't really care it's like my feelings for her just flew away. Now I'm working on my education and hobbies Edit: it's been 6 months now. I'm in a new school and I haven't seen her or her friends since. Life is good!

It was the first time ever that i confessed my love to someone. So, the rejection had really hit quite hard. It happened recently. She was my colleague. I was new to the work place and so was she... I was fond of her and her company. I really liked talking to her and getting lost in her mesmerizing eyes... I really really loved her a lot. I was even thinking about marrying her and spending the rest of my life with her... But things didn't go well. After a couple of months, I had literally put it twice infront of her... First was more casual, while the second being more formal and straightforward approach, just for my peace of my mind... She said no twice... I literally got emotional. I was not able to process the negative emotions properly. I felt sick... But, I don't blame her... The situations were tough. And I believe, she was right, I was not suited for her... Maybe, she was able to see something which I was not capable of seeing... I wish nothing but the very best for her... She is such a kind soul... Damn man, my story is very similar. I really really thought we had chemistry and something going on. She never backed down while flirting or anything, always asked about my private life etc. Asked her out, and during the question I could already see her face changing. Thank you for this video. Last year, a childhood friend of mine came back to school after going to another for most of elementary and middle school. I had a crush on a girl when I first met her in my college freshman orientation. She later was in the same major as me and I developed more feelings toward her. I always sat next to her in class. She always wore a beautiful perfume not too song but a scent that reminded me of being in a garden very relaxing. We had a tone of classes together. I always wanted to hangout with her and sometimes I asked but she always said she was busy. I was always bummed out but I always wondered how it would be like just to hangout once with her and get to know her what's she like outside of class. I had written down ideas of what to do and where we can hangout out. Sometimes I did ask to hang out here and there but always got the same response. Once I got into a car accident and she once told me if I was looking to test drive a car test drive I can test drive her car I liked her car it was a suv that I wanted for a few years and she got it a few months before. But when I asked if she was free she told me she was and we made plans but guess what happened oh that last second something came up response. She stood me up when I waited for her. A few month later I decided to confess my feelings to her and after class I did I got rejected and she decide to be an asshole and mock me which hurt. This has happened to EVERY guy at least once in his life. I've had that happen to me too and, let's just say I didn't handle that well at all. 😂 Ah to be young and dumb again. I've done the first path before with a longtime crush whose feelings weren't mutual. I've stuck it around for 2 years but had to draw some distance from her because there was no point for me to be in a union that won't elevate further than friendship. The 2nd path is my common path...then again I stopped believing in crushes since I turned 27 but if something doesn't work out with a woman, I just move on. The 3rd path, I guess that's my default lane, only just focused on growth and voiding any feelings for women in general. Self growth and building your brand should be a mindset for every man coming of age.

Been rejected 7 times by different people tryna find the right one but just know you will get hurt I’ve kind of gotten used to it and one of the ways I handle it is expecting to be rejected as if she says yes you will feel much better but if she says no it still hurts but that’s what you seen coming. I was investing too much of time with her who had no romantic feelings for me but she was seeking only emotional support. I have choosen point 2 and 3. Walk out of that connection that we had and choose myself to be better version of myself and invest time that I used to spend on her on myself for self growth. I confessed to my crush yesterday with a letter. I included my reasons for liking her, a poem I wrote for her, and asked if she would give me a chance to be her boyfriend. It hurts watching this for reasons ’:D I kind of messed up with my crush. I confessed without it being planned, it kind of happened. I got rejected once and honestly I couldn't be happier. I now am more confident then ever and talking to more people. Yeah it did hurt when the rejection was still fresh in my wound but I eventually got over it. I think it would help to look at rejection as a way to grow. I even started lifting and gain some decent muscles.

I didn't have class with her recently but I saw her on my way to class, so I went to try and talk to her a few weeks back, but after saying hi she cut the conversation short and walked away :( I really thought she liked me back.

I was rejected just yesterday by a girl I’ve been friends with for 3 years now, and it hasn’t been easy dealing with it. This is a girl who’s dated other guys who were my friends before I can get a chance to ask or out or anything for a while. We’ve made each other laugh and smile, along with two other friends I’d consider a group. She’s seemed interested and she even said I was cute on multiple occasions.
Then after that, we moved onto high school where we’ve mostly parted ways as a group and we hardly talked. Then come Sophomore year, we all by chance decided to start a group chat and talk to each other again, so we started having fun as a group once again.
Then last July, we pretty much just stopped messaging each other, all though we would still have the occasional small talk in some things we would post on Instagram or on our stories.
Then yesterday, she posted that she didn’t have anything planned for Valentine and if someone else was free to go out with her, she would be free too. So, I thought this was my opportunity to ask her out since she doesn’t have a boyfriend. So I decided to go for it, and basically asked her if she would like to go out or do something. But she gave a response I wasn’t expecting: “I don’t believe you.” So I was confused as to why she thought that and asked, “How come?” And she responded with, “We literally have not talked to each other for years” and she followed that up with her having trust issues. I was so baffled with those responses because the first statement wasn’t even true. We did talk for a while last year and even after we didn’t talk as much, we still did here and there. The point is we did talk a lot and even if she thinks she haven’t, this would be our opportunity to get to know each other better, so that confuses me even more. She also said, “I got trust issues, stop playing.” I have literally never done anything to this girl that would cause her to lose trust in me. Why would she think that I would for some reason, emotionally manipulate her and take back my decision to ask her out.
I was pissed off by this, but holding back my anger, I replied with, “We have talked though, it’s fine if you don’t remember. It might have not been as much as we have talked since 2 years ago, but we have talked enough and here and there. It’s fine if you don’t want to go out with me, but just know that I’m being completely genuine and honest with you. I don’t mean it as a joke, nor am I lying to you.”
She replied with, “Wait sorry I’m just in shock from this. I didn’t expect this, especially coming from you”
I replied, “Apology accepted. And yeah, I wouldn’t expect you to, but that’s fine. So are you going to give me an answer. Remember that there’s no shame in saying no, that’s completely understandable. I don’t want you to accept because you felt bad about me or anything.”
And she hasn’t responded to that. She has the audacity to not even answer my question and be a respectful person and respond. I’m not even sad by the rejection, I’m just mad by how she went about it.
She doesn’t even take my feelings into account here, even though I’m putting myself in a vulnerable situation. She thinks we haven’t talked enough even though we have and that we don’t know each other well enough anymore, and she thought that I was lying or joking with her, and she doesn’t even have the courtesy to respond back to me. All she could have said was “Oh no thank you. I’m sorry but I’ll have to decline.” And that would’ve been enough to not make me upset at all.

This is one of the best videos I've ever seen about rejection on TH-cam. When we talk about being rejected, most people tell us to ask someone else out and keep asking women out until we find one that says yes. I have never felt comfortable with that because I don't like asking out strangers. I have social anxiety and It's hard for me to do that. Also, I feel that I need someone that has more of a similar energy and interests to me and It's hard to do that when you're trying to chat up random women in the street. I've always liked to ask out women that I know a little more. That way I know what kind of person I'm getting. Rejection is the worst coming from them because you know that person well enough to like them for more than just their physical appearance. I like the idea of finding new people to ask out by joining clubs or doing group activities with groups that you can easily leave behind. That way you don't have to keep seeing that person and you won't come off as tacky if others know that you're just looking for a girlfriend.

Instead, I used them as one of my inspirations to study smart and positive vibes to make me happy. Besides, that experiences teach me to become resilient in different adversaries in life. It was the first time ever that i confessed my love to someone. So, the rejection had really hit quite hard. It happened recently. She was my colleague. I was new to the work place and so was she... I was fond of her and her company. I really liked talking to her and getting lost in her mesmerizing eyes... I really really loved her a lot. I was even thinking about marrying her and spending the rest of my life with her... But things didn't go well. After a couple of months, I had literally put it twice infront of her... First was more casual, while the second being more formal and straightforward approach, just for my peace of my mind... She said no twice... I literally got emotional. I was not able to process the negative emotions properly. I felt sick... But, I don't blame her... The situations were tough. And I believe, she was right, I was not suited for her... Thank you for this video. Last year, a childhood friend of mine came back to school after going to another for most of elementary and middle school. When I first saw her, she just blew my mind and I was scrambling trying to come up with the best way to talk to her. I finally did, and I got her snap and eventually number. I hadn’t really seen her because of quarantine, but we still got on ft every once in a while and texted almost everyday. I had a crush on a girl when I first met her in my college freshman orientation. She later was in the same major as me and I developed more feelings toward her. I always sat next to her in class. She always wore a beautiful perfume not too song but a scent that reminded me of being in a garden very relaxing. We had a tone of classes together. This has happened to EVERY guy at least once in his life. I've had that happen to me too and, let's just say I didn't handle that well at all. 😂 Ah to be young and dumb again. I've done the first path before with a longtime crush whose feelings weren't mutual. I've stuck it around for 2 years but had to draw some distance from her because there was no point for me to be in a union that won't elevate further than friendship.
The 2nd path is my common path...then again I stopped believing in crushes since I turned 27 but if something doesn't work out with a woman, I just move on. Just had my first heart break. She was everything and more. Now I need time to heal.
I was investing too much of time with her who had no romantic feelings for me but she was seeking only emotional support. I have choosen point 2 and 3. Walk out of that connection that we had and choose myself to be better version of myself and invest time that I used to spend on her on myself for self growth. Keeping all the options open might help. No contact untill she contacts.

I confessed to my crush yesterday with a letter. I included my reasons for liking her, a poem I wrote for her, and asked if she would give me a chance to be her boyfriend. I made it mysterious by hiding my identity because I thought rejection wouldn't sting as much if she didn't know who wrote it. Unfortunately, my friends know my handwriting and hinted to her that it might be me. I overheard their conversation but pretended not to hear anything.
Today, I hoped she might ask me directly if it was me and give me an answer. However, she acted as if she never received the letter and didn't seem to care. I suspect she thinks I wrote it but is either pretending not to care or genuinely doesn't care about me or even realize I exist. She was talking with her friends about someone she likes, mentioning handsome boys from another school, and never seemed to consider the letter.
Now I realize she doesn't care about me or even acknowledge my existence. It seems I have been living in my own illusion. My heart has been broken twice. Maybe from now on, I won't believe in love anymore. Love, to me, is like a double-edged sword: on one side, it brings happiness, but on the other side, it crushes me to the core. Yeah, i was a fool to believe in love

i really liked this girl from work, for a whole year i would say hi to her and she would say hi back too. kept it small talk for a while, until one day i decided to express my feelings through a lil gift and a note. gave it to on my next opportunity, 10min later she comes up to me and says she can't take the gift and gave it back to me and mentioned she wanted to keep it professional

You can also talk to someone about it like your parents or other members of your family to get reconforted
Its probably not as easy as to say it but eventually you’ll move on, learn from your mistakes and become a better person

I kind of messed up with my crush. I confessed without it being planned, it kind of happened. And it didn’t go the normal way and now I just feel awkward asking her out simply because I feel like there is no point to it.
