Can you do anything with Adblue additions not registering on the display unit please? I've put Adblue in and it's not changed the remaining miles before "no start"
Hi bud. Did it cane your mpg whilst driving and holding higher revs?. Although the van will do a regen automatically, forcing a regen as your describe, means you can do it when you know you're going to be and complete it due to the length of your journey, rather than, it doing it automatically and the regen being partially done when you turn the van off. (If that makes sense). Thanks for taking the time to do the video. 😎 Cheers.
Probably guzzled a bit of juice yes but it all comes out in the wash when you gain better mpg from having less clogged dpf.. (massive assumption there). Very handy to be able to control the regen like you say.
Well I will give it another go tomorrow. Certainly did the time and miles on both journeys. When it came on half way through the journey I must have traveled about 30 + miles. Then went out about 20 minutes later for 45 minutes on the S gears giving me high revs but sugn still on. Might have to seek garage help. Annoying as only 24600 miles on the clock. Thanks for getting back to me . One of those frustrating things. The sign on the dash looks like an orange management sign I had on other vehicles and when I looked it up it said exhaust problem so it could be something else. Cheers buddy. 👍🏻
Have run my transporter after warning light came on for regenerating. Got home ftom journey and light still on. Took the van out again and ran it for about 18 miles at reves required in S gears on the automatic gear shift giving me the required Revesby. So 2 journey in essence and light still on. Any ideas?
Hi mate, Make sure you do the re-gen with more than quarter of a tank. If no joy still then sounds like you need to force the re-Gen on an app like Carista…. Hope that helps..?
Hi man, I'm trying to access the DPF regeneration in the Service section but it is'nt there. There are just three options but as I say no DPF regeneration option.
Wow noo.... Check your car maintenance manual: in general you must drive on gear 4th-5th for 6gearbox or 3rd-4th for 5 gear box at 2000-2500rpm till the end plus a little more to cool down the exaust avoid fire and not drive after in a covered parking (!) use the app VAG DPF to check temperature it goes up to +1000°C... DANGER so respect the security
@@gnmalai ... it’s an 7 gearbox but oups... that sounds scary .... and I can’t use vag dpf on iOS, so I’m guessing I will pass this 😬... leave it to the experts 😀.... thanks anyway , cheers

@@marioversus1673 well the intention was to avoid confusion, for 7 gesr box means it is DSG or other automatic, so you need to put it on Deive/Sport and automatically will pickup optimal gear at 90km/h or 2000-2500rpm... When informed is no risk 😄

Should I drive while the process is going
Yes - absolutely..

Hi there, please this thing carista, does really regenerate dpf beacuse i have mine bad blocked dpf and the car go in limp mode too.
Worked for me, although not sure what happens once in limp mode as you have to have the revs above 2500 for it to start shifting the soot.
@@DossingAroundInBoats so first this carista can delete fault code like p2565, turbo loke vcds and then force regenerate
@@endrittoli3464 no idea sorry. I done the regen when the van was showing no fault codes.

That’s odd. Did you subscribe to the app?
@@DossingAroundInBoats yes i subscribe to the app. 🤔
Hi,
Does the VAG dpf app work with 2012 T5.1 1.9tdi 140h CAAC? I bought a Carista OBD form Amazon but wouldn't connect to the app.
Thanks
Hi mate , is it necessary to drive it ? Or you can keep it parked at 2000-2500 rpm and do the process? Thanks
