Would like to point out that matte paint does have a clear coat. It's just not polished to the extent that glossy paint one would be and is meant to refract light for the matte finish.

@@krishh_singh No the colour has faded slightly, I now have to use teflon polish to restore the colour. I have used hair shampoos to clean my access which may have caused this also my scooter is now 3.6 years old so maybe colour degraded by natural causes. But I'd suggest you to clean your scooter with either just clean water or wurth car wash shampoo. Do not apply any kind of polish for as long as possible. Buy a WD 40 spray and after washing your scooter spray it on your switches your centre, side stand pivots, ladies footrest folding mechanism and footrest nuts for smooth operation. Also when possible buy a 3M silencer coating matte black paint to paint the silencer pipe from protecting it from rust (cause it will start rusting soon after rain season is over), remove the shiny silencer guard by using alan hex key before painting. Many people paint the silencer guard to matte black but believe me after 3/4 months you might regret it. And to protect the stands from rusting after few months use a Japan jet black paint (asian paints) to paint the feet of the cetral stand /side stand (the areas on which the scooter stays). Thats all. Please don't mind, I don't want to lecture you or something just shared some things which I wish I knew back then.
Your carburettor pilot jets might be clogged..open the carb and clean the holes in the jets with a thin wire, also check the fuel filter, air filter and spark plugs 🙂.
As for your fiber parts nothing beats Meguiars natural shine protectant which maintains the original showroom finish without being too glossy & sticky.

I usually wash my bike(2017 NS200 white and grey) which has part Matt and part gloss paint with Godrej Ezee and dove shampoo mix. It's been 3 years now and bike looks brand new in my case. For the Matt painted parts I occasionally use mild rubbing compound to bring back Matt finish and I don't wax the Matt parts only the gloss parts with motomax. 😬. I always keep my bike covered away from direct sunlight.
Hello, I own a matt black fz25. I believe that the paint scheme and quality on apache 200 is better than that on fz25. By bike only after 10 mnts of use look old af. 🙏 Still I'll try this product.
5100 will do the work. But if u are a person who doesn't get time to regularly change the oil. U can go with 7100. Plus 7100 will make ur engine heat less and drain interval can be stretched to 5000km with ur bike. I suggest to go with 7100 as it will also keep ur engine cleaner as 7100 has detergents which help to keep ur engine clean.

Bro plz make a video on converting apache rtr 4v bs4 to bs3. As it got 60/55w bulb it consumes more battery than 35/35w bulb. And now in winter season sometimes it becomes to hard to start our bike with headlight turned on. There are some cheap options to put an extra button in between headlight main wiring. But if we can do it in a stock way than it would be a better and reliable method.

Matte paints have a clear coat with crest and trough// mountains and valleys of clear coat which doesn't let light reflect off the surface, unlike all glossy surfaces being smother and not having much crest and troughs. Now maintaining matte paint: You are right about the fact that you do not need to apply polish on the matte surface, and this product you displayed works, but PLEASE UNDERSTAND, THE MORE YOU BUFF THE MATTE PAINT WITH JUST EVEN WITH A TOWEL, THE MORE SWIRLS AND SCRATCHES IT GETS, AND THE MORE GLOSSIER IT GETS. MATTE paints are not designed to be touched much with towels or buffed. The more you buff, the smoother it gets and thus does not remain matte at all at the end of a few years, depending on the intervals you have cleaned and applied matte finishes on the bikes. I accidentally polished my Matt grey Apache 180, till date it shines and i couldn't get back the matt finish after several washes. To be frank i did this in 2016😅
Any hair shampoo with water is simply the cheapest and best choice for spray and clean on any dusty automobile part. It gives back the originality of the painted surface instantly and can be used as a preliminary step to waxing or any detailing product.

Matte specific products from brands like #MucOff & #ChemicalGuys actually works wonders in maintaining the matte/satin finishes, though tend to be expensive. But superb performance justifies their premium pricing. Try it mate, you'll thank me afterwards.
Vim liquid have a basic PH contents. It will damage your paint finish, no doubt about that. Always use PH neutral shampoos for washing matte finish with Microfibers only . ( Wash & Wax Shampoos & cotton rugs strictly no no )
