  • Ever look at your bike in the sun? The paint should look shiny and glossy, not hazy from swirl marks and scratches. Ever notice how people pass all the swirled bikes for the shiny and glossy ones at every meet? Now anyone can achieve that glorious shine on any motorcycle with Chemical Guys Rebound Scratch & Swirl Remover.
    Rebound Scratch & Swirl Remover restores a mirror shine to motorcycle paintwork in just one step.
    www.chemicalguys.com/ProductDe...
    Swirls, scratches, and marring marks come from poor washing habits, bumps and scrapes, and rough grinding all over the glossy finish. Rebound cuts through the scratches and defects to restore clarity to the reflection, then refines pure gloss and shine. Use Rebound to remove swirls, scratches, and minor paint defects from single stage, clear coat, carbon fiber, glossy plastic fairings, and clear optical plastic windscreens on any type of motorcycle.
    Chemical Guys Rebound Scratch & Swirl Remover is formulated for fast work time using any dual action or rotary polisher. Rebound is water-based, safe for use in any garage or body shop, and OEM approved to deliver the same polishing results from older 2 or 3 step polishing products.
    Remove scratches permanently to restore true gloss, shine, and reflection on any motorcycle with Chemical Guys Rebound Scratch & Swirl Remover.

      Use 0000 steel wool. You can get a bag of it at any auto parts store. I use it all the time on chrome. Does a great job with removing rust & minor pitting. Just be careful because the steel wool breaks down into small particles of steel. You’ll want to vacuum off the floor area and blow down the bike with compressed air after cleaning the chrome.

    When I polish the machine throws the polish around, and it gets sticky and stuck in the paint, what am I doing wrong

    • @ChemicalGuys
      @ChemicalGuys  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Try using less polish, five dime size drops is all it takes, also don't forget to prime the pad with pad conditioner or clay luber at the least. Make sure to spread the polish out over the paint surface. Work the polish in slowly unless you're using a rotary polisher. With a dual action polisher, start by placing the machine on the paint and maxing out the speed setting to start polishing. Most of the time you've used too much product, it's a common thing. Try it again, and let us know if the same thing happens.

Just be careful around stickers or decals if your bike has them. You should definitely clay bar your bike if you are planning on polishing!
