As a young American student in England, I stumbled upon them opening for the Smashing Pumpkins one week before this footage- Feb. 14, 1992 at The Astoria. That night still conjures memories of "the perfect concert," and I walked away a lifelong fan. I really wish they stuck together. Thanks for posting this.

    Wow!
    I remember this night well.
My old band supported. The Verve guys were very nice.
I shared a magic cigarette with Richard after soundcheck.
Richard broke an SM57 on the stage during their set.
There was a big argument between their manager and the sound guy afterwards.
Then someone nicked one of their drums and was chased across Peterborough in a van by members of both bands.
The Verve's musical career went in one direction, ours the other.
A great night though and simpler, happier times.
    Thanks for posting.

So this will have been the 2nd or 3rd date of their tour to promote their first single "All In The Mind" which released 9th March 1992.
It's interesting that they didn't perform A Man Called Sun on this tour (it was a b-side to the single so they had written the track), yet once they started playing it later that same year it became one of the most consistently played tracks right up until their split in 1995. It was even played in 1997 and during the 2007 reunion.
