I don't think a little undervolting would be a big risk. If you combine the right power limit and undervolting, you can expect better performance. I don't know about other manufacturers, but based on the ASUS motherboard, -0.05v could be operated without a big score drop.

El modelo Aorus Elite AX y el producto STRIX tienen casi las mismas especificaciones, pero sólo hay algunas diferencias en los módulos de montaje. @@carlozzz you need to switch to 0x104 microcode if your motherboard BIOS allows it. If you are running on new microcode Intel undervolt protection will kick in and reduce performance on big undervolts.

Hi,i have this problem with this mobo I recently purchased a CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) 6000 MHz CL36 Intel XMP iCUE RAM (model CMH32GX5M2E6000C36), which I am using with a Gigabyte B760 Aorus Elite AX motherboard and an Intel i7-12700K processor. Everything is new bought on amazon When I connect the RAM, both modules work correctly at a speed of 4800 MHz. However, when I activate the XMP profile in the BIOS to run them at 6000 MHz, the PC doesn't display video and keeps restarting. Here are the tests I performed to diagnose the issue: 1. **Individual Module Testing**: I tested each RAM module individually in slots A2 and B2: - One module worked correctly at 6000 MHz in both slots. - The other module caused the PC not to display video and to keep restarting in both slots. 2. **MemTest86 Test**: Both modules passed the MemTest86 test without errors. Additionally, I contacted Corsair support, and they responded with the following: "If the memory passed MemTest without errors, then the issue you're experiencing is likely caused by another component, such as the CPU or motherboard. We suggest checking these components to identify the cause of the problem." Since both RAM modules passed the MemTest86, but one of them still causes issues when activating the XMP profile, I suspect there might be a compatibility problem between the RAM and the motherboard, or possibly an issue with the motherboard itself. BCF is optional, and in my case there was no significant difference in temperature. I usually use it because it looks cool and it's easy to wipe thermal paste.

For the b760m ds3hax ddr4, 13500 doesn't seem like a big problem for gaming. But personally, the combination of the ds3h board with the 13400 looks better than the 13500. If I were to choose the 13500 CPU, I would choose the b760 elite board.
Ok…….so who are you performing surgery on? Gloves are kinda overkill unless you are in a highly static environment. JK, better safe than sorry. Looks like PL1 and 2 at 180 watt gives you the best performance.
For the B chipset board, the BIOS screen has the same options as the Z chipset, but unlike the Z chipset, the B chipset does not function properly. (CPU scores often fell.)@@mamuntareq

저도 Z690 보드 쓸때 초창기 과전압 이슈가있었습니다. 1.4v 이상 인가되더군요. Z칩셋보드라 CPU Lite Load로 조정해서 쓰긴했는데, B칩셋의 경우 언더볼팅시에 성능하락이 있습니다. ME 업데이트 진행해보시고 그래도 안되면 파워 리밋 180W 정도 걸어두시고 쓰시는게 좋을것같습니다.

If you can cover enough cooling of the CPU, you can maintain a maximum booster clock of 13600K with the B760M motherboard.

I don't think 12600K need to apply UV separately. (12th generation had relatively low temperature compared to 13th generation)
Can you fill me in with the thermalright - bcf im also building a 13600kf on the same board as you will it make a difference if i go without it?
BCF is optional, and in my case there was no significant difference in temperature. I usually use it because it looks cool and it's easy to wipe thermal paste.

Check your VRM behaviour with HWinfo during the test.

The B760 chipset supports 13th generation CPUs by default. It can be used without pre-bios updates.

난 cpu가 뿔딱인건지 보드가 뿔딱인건지....max 240w를 쳐묵하네요.
전력제한 auto로 놓고 시네벤치 돌리면 바로 100도 찍어버립니다.
다행히 (고사양)게임할 때는 70도 내외여서 전력제한 mode 8로 놓고 씁니다.
