You should react to the Korean Hip Hop group Epik High. I just went to their concert, and it was amazing. They also performed at Coachella this year and were the first Korean Artist to perform at Coachella back in 2016. You should check out their songs called 'Rosario' by Eprik High feat. CL and Zico and their song 'Prequel' by Epik High.
Can you please react to • RM “Mono” it have reached #1 at 133 countries • Change” by Wale & RM • Agust D - The Last & Strange • Jhope - Airplane • BTS “Blood Swan”, Anpanman”
Halsey's voice is more prominent on the studio version. But on this MV not so, but it would only make sense because it's rare that they perform this w/ halsey. I think it's also best that there's a version where people can still appreciate halsey but not lessen the impact of the live performancr just bec halsey wasnt there. But this song is the most perfect collab ive seen with bts. It's so catchy and nice to hear. It's a cute pop song, very relateable. It's def a big hit.
RM has often said that Suga sounds drunk when he talks or raps...so they call it Suga's drunken rap. Love the reactions, I really hope you do more Stray Kids.
Love how excited she was to collaborate with them on a song and how their friendship is so pure. Also love the visual tie to “Singing In The Rain” - which is the movie poster from the theater scene too… they always find little ways to show their love for all arts…. But ya know the original Korean name for this one was as a poem of little things💜
I really appreciate what you said at the end. Personally, I got into BTS for the hip hop side of things and before them I only really listened to rap and rock. I definitely judged pop/mainstream type music but they've taught me to appreciate so many other genres and maybe not to be so stuck in my ways. You can clearly tell the difference between a song with no depth made just to pull numbers and a hit that still has some flavour and substance. You can see they still put their own flare on it and there's also more wordplay than the translations lets on. I think what sets them apart for me is that they've always made it clear making music for them is first and foremost always about the music itself, the charts and records etc are a nice consequence if they happen. So I appreciate that they shine light on just music as a whole, in all it's styles and forms because at the end of the day, their message is about unity through music and art. Thanks man!
As others have mentioned, the Korean name for this song is “Poem for Small Things”, and you nailed it - love is made up of all the small details, every daily thing that makes up the person that you love, all the “trivia” is fascinating and beautiful and extraordinary- instead of love being this “grand passion” or massive sacrifice, it is all about the small things we do every day to show our love…in the throes of passion, it is easy to declare that you would die for the one you love, and you probably would though few of us are tested in that way - but having to pick up the same persons dirty socks off the floor, every single day, for the rest of your life - that really does require deep and true love and complete commitment…🤷♂️🙏💜💜
So Halsey sings more in the studio version. The music video adds BTS in more. She learned the choreography and they sometimes perform it together, whether it was in concert or at an awards show. I’m 2014, BTS released a song called “Boy In Luv” which has a heavier beat, amazing high notes, and intense rapping (you would love it). At the end of the choreo for that song, they put their three fingers up with their backs facing us, exactly like how they did with this one at the very end. When army saw that connection… it was like the biggest gasp in the world
Hey Knox Hill, BTS are dropping a new album on 6/10/2022. They are having their comeback, and we expect a title song drop sometime soon, probably May. We think the album might be named We Are Bulletproof, because that is what was in their teaser at the PTD On Stage Las Vegas Stadium concert, at the very end of the show on day 4 (last day). Also, Jimin is dropping an OST 4/24/2022. I heard at 11pm KST, which would make it 7am PST/10am EST. Anyway, thank you for the reaction. 💜
No matter how many times I've heard a BTS song, I still pick up new things when I watch your reaction to it. I swear I've heard this song 200+ times (it's one of my all-time faves), but a lot of your comments still gave me a fresh perspective. Thanks for always digging deep in these reactions and sharing thoughtful insights!
I have to tell you there have been so many times when one of your songs just hits on multiple levels for me. It makes me feel less alone, less scared, happier; the list goes on and on. Thanks for sharing both your musical gifts and superb breakdowns!
this video is 10 months old so this is probably super late to add to but i really love this song's mv!! the entire thing is a huge reference to Singin' in the Rain! i first noticed it with Jin spinning on the lamppost, then i recognized the yellow couch, and of course the entire ending sequence is straight out of the broadway scene from the movie. loved that!
This song is also like a counterpart/or answer to one of their earliest songs ‘Boy In Luv’. So you have Boy In Luv - Boy With Luv. N.O. (older song) - On (which you’ve reacted to). And we’re thinking the new album might go along the ‘Dream’ route. So ‘No More Dream - ?? Brain never gets a rest with BTS 🤣🙌
Yes!! But I thought the next album was Bulletproof? To go along with WAB pt. 2 and WAB eternal? The dream thing was at least visually represented in the music video for on when they wrote “no more dream” and then erased the “no more” part so only “dream” remained.
@@tovekauppi1616 I think the theory goes towards a song called Dream, not an album (but with the song being representative of the content of the album). The theory is "Dream" was an already planned "Intro" and that message at the end was a hint (something similar to "Boy meets ?") but the project was halted by the pandemic (and BE and the English songs were an intermission of sorts)
There’s a second version known as the ARMY version where Halsey has more to do in the song. The video is an homage to the film “Singin’ In The Rain”. Great reaction!
“On the wings of Icarus you gave me, not towards the sun but towards you, let me fly” is pure poetry. Out of all their lyrics, for whatever reason that’s the one that lives in my head rent free.
Always love the way you analyse the musicality of tracks🙌 I usually don't listen to these type of songs. But BTS changed my music game for me😅. I'm jamming to Boy With Luv on my way to work like it was made for me.
Thank you so much Knox! This mv actually has so much symbolism and many Easter eggs in it. It's grouped with the Map of The Soul series so aligns with those explorations of self. Loved your analysis!
Suga's keyboard things is 100% more meaningful than you think. At one point, for a fraction of a second, the note D2 lights up red. He dropped D2, he's mixtape, shortly after. ARMY were on it though and figured it out 😅
Fun fact, the intro of the second rap segment and the following chorus is a nod to a scene in Singing in the Rain when Gene Kelly is singing Broadway Melody. It's a nice Easter Egg for musical lovers from BTS. 🥰
Shoutout to the dope intro as always! Knox’s music is so good ARMY 🔥 Ahh this is a classic. I’m sure others have said about the little Easter eggs and connections but yeah this can be connected to one of their earliest songs ‘Boy In Luv’. It also runs with the Map of The Soul series (hence why you see ‘Persona’, ‘Love’ etc, other songs in the album). I love Halsey, she has more of a part in the other mv and on the track. She also has a song with Suga which is really so beautiful. And I think this is right, but the Korean title was a poem of little things, absolutely true that it’s the small things that become the most meaningful. Big thanks Knox.
Love the way how you notice the details and metaphors in the song. This song is awesome! Please do a react on their mv Dope if you havent already. Thank youuu 🥳🥳
I like your perspective on this song cause somebody may see this as just a typical boyband song but you saw beyond that. The total artisry of the song.
Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. My intro song was Boy with Luv ft. Halsey. She got me curious about the guys. Jimin also caught my eye. With his pink hair and singing and dancing. So bloody cute. And I hate pink!!! I was a Jimin stan for a long time until I became OT7 and than Suga came as my wrecker. This is a weekly struggle yearly too. lol. Halsey was the 1st and only artist to ask the guys to teach her their choreo. And she was only able to do a little of it. They do real choreo in Korea nothing like what they do here she said behind the scenes. She is a good friend to them. She text's RM all the time. The guys gave her her own sparkly mic. She really loved theirs. I don't know if u noticed but now American artists are using sparkly mic's too. BTS set's the standards u know, lol. Halsey gave the guys as presents a pink tennis bracelet they loved it. So cute! For a long time I did not know that this one was a deep song. It's an Army song for Army. But later the more I watched and read comments the more I learned. Alex M said on 1//21; Boy In Luv was about high school boys chasing a crush on a girl. Boy With Luv - they realize that the truest love is their relationship with ARMY. (Halsey represents ARMY here. She wasn't expected to dance, but she decided she wanted to try). Both choreographies end with them doing "I love you" in sign language. So like NO which is the other part of ON this one too has its connected piece. They always connecting the songs to each other. They really thoughtful like that. Boy with Luv is another song of theirs. An old one but a good one. =0) hugs. Have a good week! - ARMY NY USA 💜 barish's archive said on 10/27/21 Halsey went to Korea to film for this song and BTS and Halsey by far has the most endearing friendship ever!! About the song it's very close to my heart and this is literally ARMY's happy song. Halsey represents ARMY here in the song. This song is basically a letter to ARMY. As the Korean title of this song suggests, “a poem for small things.” When asked to talk about the song, RM said, “It’s about finding little joy in love, being curious about the little things, the details like what you’re eating, what you’re doing. But, most importantly, Boy With Luv is like a fan letter from BTS to ARMY. That’s the most important thing.” It is quite interesting to think about the shift from Boy In Luv (2014) to Boy With Luv - from a young, passionate, immature love that is represented with masculine, macho-like lyrics and visuals, to a mature, ‘true’ love that is about every small thing in life and in love that is represented with feminine, reflective lyrics that are more accepting and embracing.
PLSSSSS react next to BTS ROOM LIVE ! they sing a blend of alot of their songs live and its AMAZINNNNNG!! their style of music is so versatile💜💜💜ull love it
I love how you always get the story and the symbolism in all BTS videos since we all know the director Choi Yongseok of Lumpens is a great storyteller. Also, Knox you don't have to make a formal declaration but I have seen enough of your reactions to infer that SUGA is your fave among the rapline. Hehe.
After I watch this analysis fully, I feel like I can respect BTS a lot more than I normally do. Thanks for introducing me to new artists that I might actually like, Knox!
I have only recently discovered BTS and am down the rabbit hole as they say. In the process I discovered your chanel and wanted to express my thanks. Their music is so layered and rich - I learn so much from your analysis and get a vicarious high seeing your genuine enjoyment of the music and videos. :)
I agree with your observation about BTS's vocal range. The thing that's so amazing is that only one of them (Jungkook) was considered a vocalist when they were accepted as trainees. The other six were either rappers or dancers or just really attractive. The vocal skills you are hearing were developed over time with a lot of skilled vocal training and very hard work.
been waiting for a BTS reaction, I just loved how you analyze the concept and idea. BTW THE INTRO IS FCKING GREAT BEEN LISTENING TO THAT, A CATCHY ONE.
I just love your passion for music man! It really makes me happy to watch you react to a BTS song because I just know that your are going to take you time to appreciate everything! You deserve big things! All the love💞
You had me gushing over the boys all over again with your review. The song is catchy but I didn’t realised how much effort it took them both from sound & technical aspects. This was the 1st song that introduced me towards BTS back in the days. I heard over the radio that Halsey is doing the collaboration and the moment I listen to it, it got me hook with BTS. Great reaction! 💯❤️🔥
Ooooh what a nice surprise! I will admit I’ve been missing a regular BTS dose from the best breakdown expert on TH-cam! I’m shameless I know 😅😂 Yes Halsey, is a bit more noticeable on the studio version and in the other mv that they did. But they really do have a lovely friendship. She always has their backs and if anyone is unfair/prejudiced towards them she’s right there to shut them down 💜
Appreciated you commenting on the choreo! So many of their songs are brought to life more through the dance as it accentuates the message. One good example would be Am I Wrong which is a social commentary type song and when they sung it live they had the group separated into ‘government / public’ and sort of played off each other throughout. Maybe you could check that one next! Very excited for their comeback in June! Hope we can do an album run through in a live 😆💜
Halsey has more parts in the album version. This MV version is so that it makes it easier for them to perform song since Halsey is not with them to perform it. Love your reaction and deciphering of the song/MV!! 💜
Thank you! The duality watching the Cypher live on your Patreon to this today, they’re so versatile! Halsey’s song with Suga ‘Suga’s Interlude’ is one of my favourites too.
Knox you NEED to revisit Miranda with his In The Heights soundtrack! I would love to see your reaction to the movies 96,000 scene. The Choreography and production is top tier nothing comes close to it! It's my Fiancés and mine favorite movie! Love you Knox!
Great reaction, picking out things I hadn’t noticed before. Have you looked at the legendary Father of Hip Hop in S Korea, Seo Taiji with BTS celebrating his 25th anniversary in the music biz? - Seo Taiji featuring BTS “Comeback Home” Live. Seo has an unusual vocal sound on this I think you’ll find interesting. BTS were super nervous and really honoured . They then were allowed to give their spin on the song - “Comeback Home” live 4th muster ( best audio- EnjoyBTS more)
As many are saying, we are VERY excited because finally BTS are back with a new album in June!! Their last album was BE which was a stand along album created and released due to the pandemic. So technically this album should pick back up at the end of the Map of The Soul series. It could further explore Jung. There are currently a million theories flying around 😂 Comeback season is the best! The excitement and buzz is always 🔥🔥 This will be your first one!
Hey Knox! If you've not heard Psy has a new song out and it features Suga!! It's nothing overly deep, more humorous and a great vibe. I thought Suga did an amazing job producing it to fit Psy's style. Plus you know he comes with the flow on his verse (the lyrics on the mv aren't all right though) Would love if you could check it out soon. Hope you're having a great weekend! 💜
I’m a Halsey Stan and haven’t heard much BTS, I know they are super hyped of course but for some reason I started listening to this song out of nowhere. Had heard it a couple times and this time it stuck and now I’m listening on repeat while I’m doing dishes lol!
hi Knox just wanna say love ur reactions iv watched u for quite a while now and love ur breakdowns and groups u react to i recommend you react to when bts vocal line and rap line switches its a comedy video but shows the members and how they rap and sing they are really good hope you react 2 it
Knox - “So today! Today man. It is Monday” Me - “FCK IS IT. Did I drink that much last night I slept through an entire day?!” 😂 Great breakdown man! Been too long. BTS weekly again?? 😉
👍Knox Hill you are right on point , so refreshing that you get these 7 talents they are really a different kind of breed so versatile each one is unique thanks for your insight , I know you are in your path to success in your love for music 🎶🎶💪fighting!
YES thank you! I've been checking every week haha! Amazing comments and I can see ARMY have filled you in on all the hidden meanings. I hope you'll still continue with the BU and finish the rapper trilogy with Ego. I know it's a lot but maybe if you did weekly again (you did promise 😉) you can get through them while they're still all fresh in your mind. Don't forget with Wings to use the subbed versions for the last few though! Borahae Knox, you're the best!!
Thank you so much Knox! So this song ties in with the Map of The Soul exploration. This was from the ‘Map of The Soul: Persona’ album. Even when it seems light-hearted pop it has a deeper connection and meaning 💜💜
I think I love this song so much because it feels like Halsey is just the 8th member of BTS for a song. It doesn't feel like a feature at all. Her voice blends in so well with the guys. Weird to explain. I never think I make sense when I talk about this. Anyway, you should check out Suga's Interlude on Halsey's Manic album.
I think the Korean title for this song is like "A Poem For Small/Little Things" or something like that... also, it's like a callback to their earlier song, "Boy In Luv" released in 2014
Great reaction video. BWL is such an incredible bop of a pop song. I hope you react to The Truth Untold (in concert, not studio version). I became a fan of BTS through the rapline songs, I was NOT into ballads, avoided any "slow" song. When I gave this song a chance, it hit me really deeply and made me appreciate vocal line so much.

Suga’s verse is my fav part 💜
The colour scheme in the whole video is so dreamy, I can’t help but smile with this song 💕
i agree, he's so talented and his verse is so under appreciated. I love how he puts his emotion and personality in the music, it's so hard!

Halsey went to Korea to film for this song and BTS and Halsey by far has the most endearing friendship ever!!
That’s the most important thing.”
It is quite interesting to think about the shift from Boy In Luv (2014) to Boy With Luv - from a young, passionate, immature love that is represented with masculine, macho-like lyrics and visuals, to a mature, ‘true’ love that is about every small thing in life and in love that is represented with feminine, reflective lyrics that are more accepting and embracing.

Can you please react to GRAMMY Butter performance? It was phenomenal !!!!!!!!!
Yes!!!!
🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Yapyap 🙏
Knox please react to BTS´s performance in the Grammys
been waiting for a BTS reaction, I just loved how you analyze the concept and idea.
Great 😊 mv reaction Knox keep up the good hard work keep grindin love ❤️ your videos sm
I always like to watch your reaction videos on BTS and your comments as an artists perspective I enjoyed it every time I watch your video
This song was written for ARMY's
They then were allowed to give their spin on the song - “Comeback Home” live 4th muster ( best audio- EnjoyBTS more)
I hope you react to their b sides more or maybe the 2021 bts room. stay safe and healthy, knox!
Thank you so much!! Your comments were really on point and informative! Please come back with regular BTS again
knox: suga-hh " naughty boiii"
iconic
I was eagerly waiting for you to react to this epic song and you FINALLY did! Always love your reactions!!
The excitement and buzz is always 🔥🔥 This will be your first one!
thank you for this brother. more bts break down please, for some reason i feel I've watched this already🤔
Thankyou for the reaction Knox!!!!!💜
Can't wait for you to dive into the solo songs of the vocalists ☺️ they are lyrical and musical gems 💜
The Korean title for this song is translated as A Poem for Small Things which is so poetic and beautiful.
BTS never disappointed😌
If there are BTS, there is like 💜
I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THISSSSSSSSS
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 thanks for reacting to BTS and Halsey. Borahae
I've never noticed the different song titles and album titles before😳.. And I've watched this so many times!!💜💜
Nice one! I missed your bts reactions haha
I’m a Halsey Stan and haven’t heard much BTS, I know they are super hyped of course but for some reason I started listening to this song out of nowhere. Had heard it a couple times and this time it stuck and now I’m listening on repeat while I’m doing dishes lol!
Omg I could not click on this fast enough 💜 thank you for recognizing their skills
Thanks 👍..I waited for a long time for bts reaction 💜
I always look forward to your BTS reactions!!!!!! Thank you!!!

Sugas flow on dis one. 🔥🔥🔥🔥...always knew he was a MC but daymmm
Knox - “So today! Today man. It is Monday”
Me - “FCK IS IT. Did I drink that much last night I slept through an entire day?!”
😂 Great breakdown man! Been too long. BTS weekly again?? 😉
ME ENCANTASSSSS....SALUDOS DESDE PUERTO RICO🇵🇷
I swear Knox Hill's smile cures my sadness
Love your reaction as always😊
Bts got the best collab by far with the one and only Halsey
Thank you so much for reacting to their music videos. Please react to Spring day and many more...Lots of love from India , take care
👍Knox Hill you are right on point , so refreshing that you get these 7 talents they are really a different kind of breed so versatile each one is unique thanks for your insight , I know you are in your path to success in your love for music 🎶🎶💪fighting!
this video is an allegory about the animas Animus if we put it in the context of the album in the context of the BTS universe
Such a treat to share your experience 😅
YES thank you! I've been checking every week haha! Amazing comments and I can see ARMY have filled you in on all the hidden meanings. I hope you'll still continue with the BU and finish the rapper trilogy with Ego. I know it's a lot but maybe if you did weekly again (you did promise 😉) you can get through them while they're still all fresh in your mind. Don't forget with Wings to use the subbed versions for the last few though! Borahae Knox, you're the best!!
Something to check out on your own they have an alternate music video where I think Halsey is featured more in it
RM's solo the idea for that if i am not mistaken came from a scene in the movie Singing in the Rain with one of my all time favorite Mr. Gene Kelly!
Been waiting a year and 3 months for this :)
I think the Korean title for this song is like "A Poem For Small/Little Things" or something like that... also, it's like a callback to their earlier song, "Boy In Luv" released in 2014
even tho it looks like a love song but its actually a thank you song for armies
and here halsey is army basically
BTS more often please
i love this song
i love your bts reactions so much
Great reaction video.
