I was at that evening's show. It was mesmerizing, beautiful, touching, and often hilarious. And although I wish I had known about this earlier session I'm grateful to you for recording and uploading this. The Jeff Buckley version is the definitive interpretation for me, but anything Vienna does is usually beautiful and touching. She really hits her stride in the latter half of this performance. I can't see how anyone would be dissuaded from purchasing the future official release based on having this recording, as it just provides a delicious foretaste of what's in store.
I swear to God, just a couple of hours ago I was wondering what her interpretation of this song in particular would look like. And suddenly, there it is - astounding as always. Many thanks for recording and sharing this!
