2001 KX 125, I actually just blew it up not to long after getting it and it destroyed the cylinder so its already on blocks. I have been wanting to powder coat some parts but I am extremely afraid to haha. That is how I found your channel!
Power Sports Builds I got a quick question, would powder coating the rear shock make the powder coat crack when the spring compresses off jumps? Thank you
@@cameroncaltabiano5030 ill answer for you yes and no lol. It will over time you are making micro fractures on the powder for the spring if you have full shock travel, but the usual murderer of a good powder coating is rocks. all in all it is your best bet for color shocks unless you got money for anodizing
Dude thats a sweet give away. I know I'm years late but thats still awesome. Just in case you want some practice I have a 1992 RM125 I need powder coated suzuki II yellow. Thanks for the vid man. 🤘
2005 cr 125 with 30 original hrs. I love the vids man been following the build since day one and learned alot from you. Beautiful work and very meticulous and neat.
Does the shock rebound without nitrogen on its own? No one shows after they are done pushing the shock down to see what it does without nitrogen in it.
In my own build, I'm at where your video is at 12:35 in. I can push the piston down, but it won't come back up. Even with two people pulling on it, it feels like it's vacuum sealed in there. It gets totally locked in and I have to pull out the compression adjuster to let fluid out and remove the piston. Any thoughts?
Awesome results! Shock looks very nice. Question...what oven are you using for curing in the video? Or is that a large size counter top toaster oven? Thank you for your time.
CRF250R buildyear 2005, getting a complete rebuild. Currently working on the wheels got powdercoated red and black, new spokes etc. Slowly getting there!
Hi Adam, They shock rebuild looks super cool. Did you paint the shock body in the Gun metal Grey listed below the video? It looks a bit different super cool colour, just wondering what Cerakote colour it was. Thanks

What you call a Circlip is NOT a circlip. Just an elastic ring. You should also consider warping the shock rod with tape while you work with pliers or any hard metal tools around it. Beside, nice and interesting video, thank for sharing the knowledge.
@@adampaganelli4891 Thx! Love each one. I also have a Suzuki GT 250 from the 70's in parts, waiting for better times. Now I love to work on my bike and that's why I subscribed because you have a great content, wich I am grateful for. Do you have to use a translucent type red powder on top of chrome to get candy red or just normal type?
I have a video on it on the channel but the short answer is yes
I’ve watched your powder coat videos but don’t recall you mentioning anything about a translucent red powder
Yes the top powder is translucent
I have the exact powders that I used linked in the description
Which lasts longer, meaning is more impact resistance from chipping, Cerakote or powder coating?
Personally I think powder coat is slightly more durable but it’s a thicker coating.
Min 5:31 this process in this machine is ?
