The Beatles have been part of my life from the first time I heard them in the 1960s, every song brings back memories of parents, friends family some no longer here but I hear a Beatles song and I am back with those friends young , happy and physically fit no end or pains . Its hard to believe its so many years ago .As always a great reaction and great to see you .

I've listened to the entire interview twice. I am a huge fan of both Paul and Howard so it was truly something to hear. Thanks for doing this so other people will hear at least part of what was such a great interview.

Hi Rebeka! I heard this interview live! I was glued to the interview! The Beatles are the best band ever! Howard is the best interviewer ever! This is the third or fourth time Howard has interviewed Paul! Check out the older interviews. I think you will enjoy them as well as his interviews with so many other artists! Peace & Love

    Yeah, thanks for this -
I don't know if that's a common saying in England, but speaking of childhood days with childhood friends: "we kind of lived in each other's pockets". What a nice little piece of poetry.

Thanks for this. I had no idea this interview existed, I'm going to have to listen/watch to the whole thing and I'm sure is super interesting. I always love hearing stories of classic bands and their insight of things we never hear about.

I loved this interview. I never knew about it, so thanks for alerting us to it.
My previous favorite interview with McCartney were from 2013 when he was on the Colbert Report. He promoted his 1976 "Rockshow" DVD, and remastered 1976 "WIngs Over America" album (my favorite live album from the 1970's) , and he also performed six songs. This Wings album is best known for its live and superior version of "Maybe I'm Amazed". And also includes my favorite live version of "Band On the Run", and "Magneto and "Titanium Man". On the Colbert Report, McCartney performed live for the first time, The Beatles song, "Being For the Benefit of Mr. Kite".

This was wonderful. Totally unexpected response of how he felt playing Yesterday by himself and not being a single.

I have Sirius/XM. I listened this interview. Howard is known for his interviews. He also interviewed Billy Joel too. I think Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters told Howard that one evening at his home. When Paul visited Dave (Paul and Dave are close friends plus Paul inducted Foo Fighters into Rock Hall of Fame). One of Dave's kids was at a piano; then Paul walked over to sit next to her showing some pointers on the keys. Dave stated that his mind was blown because legendary Beatle is showing his daughter pointers at the piano.

The Beatles are the best band in the World and they taught me everything while I was learning guitar and piano since I was 7.
From a Beatles fan, good job, Becks.

She is called the queen of goosebumps, a unique voice - contralto with polyphonic overtones.
The most famous hit of the king of rock 'n' roll in an unrivaled gorgeous, phenomenal performance by Diana Ankudinova ( 18 y.o.)
Can’t Help Falling in Love (Elvis Presley / DARK VERSION cover)
Please react to Diana Ankudinova !
She has insane and unique vocals and great stage presence and her performances (from the show You are Super ! ( win twice ) are gorgeously choreographed and you should find them very interesting. Top song choices are up Wicked Game, Derniere Danse, Blizzard, Human, River. She is really an amazing young artist!

I was moved at the part when he and John discussed baking bread! It’s the contrast between fame and family!

I love the "history" from him. I was 9 in Feb 64 and was 15 when they broke up. Surprised and happy at the resurgence in them in the late 70s and I am not that surprised to see their continued influence on every generation. Netflix...maybe has a 3 part Rick Rubin interview with him in the studio and they go over songs, recording topics and all the personal memories. Don't miss it...

you should react to when they went to Russia and met with Putin. Paul and John have been my favorite.....Pauls music has always been very melodic and optimistic where Johns was deeper possibly more artistic, and being a classical piano fan i think of Paul as todays Mozart and John as Chopin

I was surprised to hear of their reluctance to release that song. I love it when bands come out with music that deviates from the feel of their most popular songs. You gradually become less impressed, if every song sounds too similar to the ones before. The Beatles were great at changing it up!

Sorry,I just get totally bored to death by Paul McCartney. Having said that,On the magical mystery tour bus in Liverpool the stereo was a bit blown out so all we got was Paul's bass on all the old songs. Absolute magic. What a force.

The Beatles were a great band. But they are also the most overrated band of all-time.
For so many to say they are without doubt the greatest band that ever existed is laughable to a large % of actual musicians.
Great band, but not the greatest ever.
