    First off thanks for taking me with you. 🙂 and thanks for skipping the build . I'm glad your already micro cruising. That's a beautiful area to sail . Thanks for the power boat action. Get used to it because it won't stop . And sometimes you just have to leave a man behind. RIP to the hat 👒

    Your boat radiates quality of build from every angle the camera captured.
    This is the perfect micro cruiser for solo sailing, and being able to sail from within the cabin in wet and cold weather is hugely beneficial, likewise the 'liveaboard' capabilities.
    I look forward to following your adventures and seeing more of the interior of Dave and Goliath (speaking of which, that's such a wonderful choice of name!). Subscribed.

    Nice boat, I didn't see any shrouds or forstay or backstay. Is the mast stable? Is it considered a gaff rigged cat boat? It s a really nice build, I guess you ha a sleeping bag.

    Very nice Paradox build. I am starting mine very soon with goal to be completed by June 24’
    Your deck shows outstanding craftsmanship and i would like to duplicate it. What did you do to create the Holly Teak look?
    Thanks

      @daveandgoliath.7917  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I did have a yuloh. Unfortunately I broke it at pivot point. I might repair it but am unsure. I am using a stand up paddle board paddle at the moment with success. Ps. I had troubles using the Yuloh. Just couldn't get the knack

    Dave, how is the windward performance with the chine runners. Can you get a decent pointing angle to help you go where you want to go?

    • @daveandgoliath.7917
      @daveandgoliath.7917  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. It's points about 45 degrees. Nothing special. You need to be heeling well over for them to dig in in light air.

      @@daveandgoliath.7917 OK thanks! I was thinking of building something like the Paradox but was concerned about rough water performance out on Moreton Bay and light air performance.
