  • The Hifdhstatus Podcast Episode 8 || Bounded to the Qur’an
Our esteemed guest, Ustadh Muhammad Tahir from QuranBound takes us through his unique and wonderful journey memorising the Qur’an. From his days in college knowing only a few short Surahs, to his days performing Tawwaff around the Ka’bah and living the verses of Surah Al-Baqarah, to his overcoming of the many struggles he faced memorising the Qur’an in London and his golden advice to those following this noble path of memorising the words of Allah.
May Allah سبحانه وتعالى place blessings into the hifdhstatus initiative and make it a source of motivation and inspiration for those embarking on their journey with the Qur'ān.

I rarely comment on videos, but I must say this episode is unmatched. I have watched many amazing episodes, but this one has truly touched me. Alhamdulilah, I recently got married to an amazing and righteous husband, Allahumma barik. We share the same goal: to dedicate our lives, with the help of Allah, to living by the Quran and hadith, teaching our children the Quran, and ensuring they memorize it and embody its teachings.
Please remember us in your duas. To all the singles and divorcees, don't give up on your duas. Keep praying for a righteous spouse, and inshaAllah, Allah will grant it to you as long as you are sincere and patience in your intentions and actions.
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the founders of the Hifdhstatus podcast and everyone who contributed to it, may Allah make it a means of you entering Jannah. May Allah make us among the people of the Quran and unite us in Jannah with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).Ameen

What a great perspective subhanallah. I'm inspired by the part, when he mentioned the brother who refrained himself from sinning by reminding himself of a specific ayah. I never thought of implementing the Quran like that in your life, but it is really the constant remembrance of ayahs that truly make us implement the message of the Quran. Alhamdulliah, this came at the perfect time.

This episode has to be one of my favs SubhanAllah. I had to pause the video alot of times to actually just take a moment and reflect on the beautiful gems that were mentioned, they definitely left me in awe. The same hadiths I've heard before were given an entirely new perspective SubhanAllah. May Allah place immense barakah in these podcasts and reward both of you with the best in both worlds.

These videos are amazing, mA. I have really benefitted from listening to these talks and may start to continue my memorisation as I am inspired by these stories. Just a suggestion, but pllease can you put hadiths on screens when they are mentioned and when some ayats are quoted and brief explanations are given of these ayats, which some of us do not know but can go back to the quran and reflect on it iA. Also as a parent would be great to hear from parents view points who encouraged their children to start hifz from young age. Amazing stuff again mA. Please continue to the hard work.
