As a note. If I have made any mistakes, please point them out. Methods to memorize from the video 1. Stick to one mushaf 2. Read/recite to a teacher 3. Make the hifdh a daily habit 4. Repetition is the key. The more you repeat, the easier it becomes. 5. Start with surah an-Nas and go up to surah al-Baqara. 6. If you don't have enough time in a day to memorize and repeat, repeat. 7. Do not go to another page if you have not mastered the first page. 8. Don't get sad if you forget. in the first two years, you will lose quickly. How much daily? 1. Every day one page. If you are strong in memorization then do two pages. 2. Don't go over two pages What method? Step 1. Read the first page together with a teacher. Until every single letter is correct. Master the recitation. Step 2. Divide the page into two halves. Step 3. Read the first ayah 20 times. Then read the second ayah 20 times. Then read the first and second ayah 20 times. Read the third ayah 20 times. Then read the second and third ayah 20 times. And so on 1. Ayah 2. Ayah 1 & 2 Ayah 3 Ayah 2 & 3 Ayah 4 Ayah 3&4 Ayah 5 Ayah 4 & 5 Ayah 6 Ayah 5 & 6 Ayah Step 4. When you finish the first half, read it 20 times. Step 5. Repeat the same steps with the second half. Step 6. Repeat the whole page 20 times. The most important thing is that you connect the ayat together. You can repeat as many times as you want. The Ustadth suggests 50 times and people in Mauritania do it 500 times.

I’ve always enjoyed reading it as a little child and as a grew up I’ve slowly forsaken it . I feel an emptiness in my life as if it’s missing something very important to me .I now know that the Quran is what has been missing and I need to implement it heavily in my life as without it there’s no purpose in this life . This Quran ,the words of Allah are a guidance to us and a way that helps us Muslims navigate through life subhanallah. I feel so dissapointed in myself when I think about my relationship with the Quran ,Inshallah from now on I will read everyday and strive to become a hafidh , and from there I will understand the meanings of the words and so on so that I may master the Quran and even then there is still so much to learn . May Allah allow me and anyone else reading this to become ahlul Quran and for the Quran to intercede for us on yawmul qiyamah Ameen ya rabb. Inshallah I have made this promise to myself from now . Brother, I suggest establishing 10,000 Muslim preachers in all cities of Britain. I only see a few like Sheikh Muhammad Al-Tarawneh, Shamsi, Hisham, Mansour and Muhammad Ali. Why don't we see an online school that establishes Muslims everywhere to be Muslim preachers who can explain Islam to non-Muslims and who can debate and debate non-Muslims. I suggest that there be cooperation between you and Zakir Naik, Sheikh Othman bin Al-Farouq, Shamsi, Muhammad Ali and Muhammad Al-Tarawneh in establishing such a school.

As Salamu 'Alaykum, jazakumAllahu khairun Ustadh and AMAU team, I have a question, for the method when it's mentioned to connect the ayaats, does it mean to connect them without the stops? Or just to get the order of ayaat mastered insha'Allah. Do we need to know how each ayaat would join (with the stop skipped) for each surah? (of course not with the ayaats with a mandatory stop) Or is it okay to only know the surah by stopping after each ayaat. Insha'Allah this question makes sense.

Wa ‘alaikumu salaam wa rahmatuLlahi wa barakaatuh Revision means going over what u memorised but actually he didn’t say exactly how to do it, but yes usually it’s without looking in the Mushaf and just trying to read from memory but u might sometimes look in the Mushaf to check if ur correct.
But shouldn't we also try to understand the verses and not just read it through, that's what I have been doing but it takes me time I cant finish a lot of surrahs in one sitting
I don't think it's every human's nature to show ignorance to something they can't understand. Otherwise there wouldn't be the set of us willing to read, understand and some eventually turn to the Qur'an. There are humans on this planet isolated from other civilization for so many generations that they still don't have written language( sadly).

As Salamu 'Alaykum, jazakumAllahu khairun Ustadh and AMAU team, I have a question, for the method when it's mentioned to connect the ayaats, does it mean to connect them without the stops? Or just to get the order of ayaat mastered insha'Allah. Do we need to know how each ayaat would join (with the stop skipped) for each surah? (of course not with the ayaats with a mandatory stop) Or is it okay to only know the surah by stopping after each ayaat. Insha'Allah this question makes sense.

Is revision mean we don't read from the mushaf but we read from what we memorized ?

Revision means going over what u memorised but actually he didn’t say exactly how to do it, but yes usually it’s without looking in the Mushaf and just trying to read from memory but u might sometimes look in the Mushaf to check if ur correct.

I don't think it's every human's nature to show ignorance to something they can't understand. Otherwise there wouldn't be the set of us willing to read, understand and some eventually turn to the Qur'an. There are humans on this planet isolated from other civilization for so many generations that they still don't have written language( sadly).
