Ol’ Smoke is back as Stacey finishes up the transformation of a Brand-new ’08 Corvette, into a full-on super car capable of running with any Ferrari, Porsche, or Lamborghini. This week it’s a brake upgrade, along with wheels and tires, and some custom airbrushing, to not only make the car even more unique, but to also get it ready for it’s new owner to enjoy. Then in true GEARZ fashion, Stacey takes Ol’ Smoke out and puts it through the paces as only he can! …showing once again that you can not only have fun BUILDING something cool, but also having just as much fun DRIVING it when you are done. Love the build, but I have a hard time believing that any Chevy dealership will warranty any part of that drive train once they see an aftermarket twin turbo setup mounted. Now that all those cars are out of warranty, I say turbo up!

The LS3 probably held up fine. It's the base motor GM used in the supercharged LS9 (the ZR1's motor) and LSA engines so it can handle boost
What changes to the ECU/ECM or ignition system are required in order to run that turbo system on the corvette?
We offered this kit with a Diablo sport hand held tuner with base 5PSI tune, or upgraded HP tuners with feed back tunning.

You should have been home in bed sipping on chicken noodle soup but I understand the show must be on. That must have been a rough week

Love the show but we need to stop lying about e3 plugs. I get it they are a sponsor but those plugs make absolutely no difference. I have seen countless dyno tests from many different people proving it really doesn't matter what plug you use when it comes to power. Longevity sure, power no. Also. The Goodyear eagle f1 is the stock tire for that car. Great tires but not an upgrade

The paint ruined this car. Looks way too rice'd out. I've notice a lot Vette owners do that. After all that money and time, should've just bought the Z06. Derp.
I agree but it’s a giveaway car so if I won it I’d either repaint it or wrap it. Also this episode was shot so long ago, but realistically that car could be capable of making like 700whp on ethanol. Anything more though you’d probably have to do some work to the motor
Either way, this car completely outclasses a stock z06
