Era un jugador muy temido cuando se sumaba al ataque, gracias a su capacidad goleadora, apoyada en sus fulminantes y terroríficos disparos de media y larga distancia, convirtiéndolo en el defensa más goleador de todos los tiempos con 253 goles. Nunca hubo, no hay y nunca habrá un defensa más goleador que Ronald Koeman.
A tactical machine and great Libero. He wasn't on the Level of Franco Baresi, Matthias Sammer or the older Lothar Matthäus....but damn near. Defensively probably the best Dutch player of all time....his long distance passes almost legendary.
Ronald Koeman wasn't remotely the same sort of player as anybody you mentioned there. He was one of the very few attacking central defenders, a playmaker of the deepest variety. The best Dutch defender is, was and always will be Jaap Stam.
unfortunately none of these 3 did, I would really like to see more especially about this PSV from 1985-1990 with Koeman, Romario, Heintze, Gerets, Gullit, Lerby, Kieft and several other great players.
@@toppman89 I'm a Liverpool fan, but I really admire the great PSV teams of the 80s, and I have a lot of respect for Ajax and Feyenoord. I'm happy that Liverpool had their episode, but these teams deserved it too.

As us at Leeds have spent so much team out of the premier league Liverpool is my prem team. In England if Leeds can’t do well I always then want Liverpool to do well. Plus we both hate that scum man united.
