That Dutch team broke my heart when they knocked out Ireland in Euro 88. However, they were a joy to watch with world class players like Van Basten, Gullit and Rijkaard all in their prime. They were worthy winners of Euro 88!
Ireland too that year had a good team, maybe if they more confidents they too could won Euro 88. Anyway Holland deserved to win Euro 88. But I would like to see them win the World Cup. People forget Holland is small country and produce great talent, One of great teams not to win a world Cup.
Van Basten's goal was even more so sensational if you watch it in real time! I watched the final on TV, and simply couldn't believe it when the goal went in. Along with Maradona's 86 World Cup goal against England, and Dennis Bergkamp's strike against Newcastle in the Premiership, three greatest goals I ever seen in real time.
Owens goal against Argentina and bergkamps goal against again Argentina both in 98 wc...both unbelievable goals ... plus the 4th brazil goal in the 70 wc final ... Carlos Alberto?... amazing
I swear my eyes get teary from emotions when I see that Van Basten's goal in final game, why? I pray one day Holland will win the World Cup. regards from Malaysia.
Kippenvel en tranen in de ogen. Gullit goal met zijn dikke zwarte dreadlocks, een fantastische goal van van Basten, en de penalty stop van van Breukelen. Wat een team. Wat een feest.
Was never more delighted to see a foreign team win a tournament. Brilliant, deserving victors and watching again I feel so happy for Rinus Michels. The father of Total Football finally got to taste victory 14 years after Holland's famous World Cup final defeat by W Germany. Van Basten's volley is the greatest goal ever, defying belief from whatever angle or replay you watch. The USSR goalkeeper Dasaev literally staggers in a daze
[Rinus Michels. The father of Total Football ] He was NOT the father of total football. It was the PLAYER Cruijff who at a poor Ajax game under Michels directed some players to play at different positions, act differently. It worked great and completely turned the game around. Michels observed this, thought we should always be doing this and claimed it to be his idea.
You can shoot from that angle because you're one of the greatest football players of all time.... Van Basten's goal sums up everything why i've got a crush on Dutch football since I was a 10 year old boy watching Dutch team live on Dinamo Zagreb stadium in 1976. I'm Croatian, but Netherlands football team is alway my second country to root for, good times or bad times like now. And in the third place match in France in 1998 played (to me) the two best teams of that tournament. That was a dream to watch Croatia against Netherlands - my two fav football teams.
I think the best team in France were France (very clearly, NL probably would have stand no serious chance), 2 Brazil or Netherlands based on all the games played. Nl also defeated Argentina and were at least equal to Brasil and fourth Croatia. Croatia won the 3/4th place mainly because NL just did not care at all. I remember well that in the days before the match as well as on the day it was mainly about the paifull loss against Brazil and the question wether 3/4 place matches should be played at all since...who cares about them? But this was in large part due to the complete lack of interested based on what happened before. I think we thought we had a good chance to become worldchampions and all we felt was a loss which no 3rd place could ever somehow ease. In contrast with 4 years ago when NL was really not at all the best team, very lucky to pull through on several occasions and the 3rd place against a home playing Brasil that desperately wanted some rehabilitation was a nice match to look at. Again: we were realistic and knew we would not be able to defeat Germany which was easily the best team 4 yrs ago. Croatia in my view plays nice skilled football and with only 4 million people does exceptionally well I have to say. I don't think they ever had a best team in any championships but that is really not something we can expect from such a small nation. And NL becoming Worldchampion is not going to happen either for the same reason. This downfall we see will not last but there are really no signs at all of any recovery. Just not enough talent around. Good luck with your team! They started of well yesterday. Pozdrav.
Serenoj69 Thank you. They started well yes, but we'll see against Argentina how (or if) powerful they are. I disagree with your previous statement though, 1998 Croatia could have been WC as well as any of those 4 teams. The midfield line of Croatia - Boban, Asanovic and Prosinecki - was one of a kind and even better than today's with Modric and Rakitic.
In Argentina for many years (and for some Argentines even still to this day) Holland was the team that everyone sympathised with. Because of their 2 consecutive World Cup Grand Final losses in 1974 and 1978 to West Germany and Argentina respectively, most Argentines felt sorry for them and not just because of the two big losses, but also because there was an immense respect and even admiration for their revolutionary and attractive style of play and one that the Argentine football fan identified with. As the years went on, a European Semi finals elimination in 1992 World Cup Semi Finals eliminations in 1994, 1998 and 2014 and a World Cup Grand Final loss in 2010... The sympathy grew, as did the respect. Often wrongly touted around the world as "underachievers", the "nearly-men" or the "could have beens", when in reality, getting so close on so many occasions is actually an achievement, particularly for a nation without the population of powerhouses like Germany, England, Italy or Brasil. You add to that this 1988 European Championship crown and Holland's record is extremely impressive. It is true however, this particular generation could have and should have won more.
In 1988 I was in the Dutch army stationed in West Germany. Our stationary barracks were in Seedorff (a small city in West Germany) but we had exercises all over the border with East Germany. We watched all Holland games with many soldiers dressed in orange and when we won the final we went with more then a thousand orange dressed guys into the streets and cities surrounding our barracks.....this was a time I never will forget!!

+Fred Schriks Yes, against Spain, they were close several times but unfortunately they didn't make it, just like the Hungarian great team of the 50s, sometimes in football the best team doesn't win a tournament , like Hungary during the 50s, Brazil of `82 Worldcup & of course Holland.
I was 12 during this tournament and this brings up so many good memories. Watching the semi-final at my grandparents where my grandfather, father, brother and me stood in the kitchen when Koeman took the penalty for 1-1... we couldn't watch it, so nervous. The whole tournament is a fantastic memory!

It's always nice to see germany play against netherlands. I think the feelings luckily have changed over the past years, of course every side wants to win these hard battles, as games against the netherlands are seen as our international derby, but after the game we congratulate each other and can go for a few beers to discuss about the game further. 19:12, Van Basten's volley really made the Russian goalkeeper staggered. That was an almost impossible strike at the goal but Van Vasten did it. I remember in our school football tournament at that time the orange jersey suddenly became a favourite jersey.
Gullit is such a great person. Even now he always says that if he saw Van Basten in front of the goal he'd rather give it to VBasten cos he was sure it would be a goal then. Very humble =) Missing Rijkaard in football. It is always great to hear him talk. Good man that. Great person.
Ronald Koeman was a great player. Slightly overlooked when you have Gullit, Rijkaard and Van Basten in the same team but Koeman contributed enormously in his club and international career. His fight foot strikes were rockets.
Always been an unconditional Netherlands fan Dennis Bergkamp was my guy...off course Ruud Gullit van Basten R.Koeman as well but to me Bergkamp was from another planet
All my life I have watched the Dutch. In 74 and 78 with my father. In 88 I was lucky enough to be in the Netherlands with my uncle when we won this tournament. The whole country erupted into the streets in a sea of orange. One of my fondest memories.

Best improvised finish ever. Not some little flick which you could score in a 5-a-side but an absolute beast of a goal by one of the greatest strikers of all-time.
Of course, with all those goals in more than a hundred years of international football, it's hard to say what was the best goal ever. But considering the importance of the goal, that being the decisive goal in the final of a big tournament, Van Basten's beauty certainly is one that will be remembered as long as people play football.
Absolutely, agreed with that. Never seen such a goal before and after '88 in finals on the biggest stages of international football. A lucky hit, but certainly he aimed for it. Gullit said at once: "He can do this a million time but he'll never score such a goal again".
For me the goal of Ruud Gullit and Marc Van Basten in the final 1988 are the scores since 1960 start the Europe cup of Nations and the 2 best goals absolutely in all ' 900 century's . Ciao

I listened to what Frank Rijkaard said about Michels remaining calm, not panicking or criticising players after the early loss to the Soviet Union - I think a coach's reaction in those circumstances can prove absolutely crucial in the grand scheme of things and can help make the difference between winners and losers at the end of the day. I draw parallels between Rinus Michels back then and Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool today.

I remember when I went to Brazil on a holiday for the first time about 20 years ago. Me and my friends went to Sao Paolo and on the way to our hotel we saw a lot of football courts filled with guys playing the game. Growing up with street football it immediately started to itch and we decided to look for a place to play some ball against some natives to test our mettle. At first, the guys on the field thought we were Americans and didn't want to play with us but as soon as we said "We're not Americans, we are from Holland" I saw the expressions on their face change and the first thing I heard was "Frank de Boer, Frank de Boer!!!". It still makes me smile. We played matches for hours and hours after that and am still touch with some of those guys to this very day. It was the first time I realised that both countries have a healthy amount of respect for each other's quality and love for the game despite the competitiveness. Cheers from Amsterdam m8 let's hope we'll meet again in a World Cup soon... Brazil vs The Netherlands has always been a treat to watch

It is really interesting how much our relation as neighbors has changed to better since the hatefull days of 70‘s and 80‘s. See you next year in the EM Final.
Probably the greatest goal of all time. That Van Basten volley against the Soviet Union in the UEFA 88 final in Munich will be etched on people's minds for generations to come and rightly so. Easy to understand why Van Basten is known as a Dutch football legend. For a bloke who was 6ft 4 inches tall his ball control was exceptionally good but that was only really surpassed by his intelligence and bravery.

You can say whatever you want but they could not defend the corner kicks from Zidan in the 1998wc
I will always admire dutch footballers. Cheers from Argentina.
That Dutch team broke my heart when they knocked out Ireland in Euro 88.
However, they were a joy to watch with world class players like Van Basten, Gullit and Rijkaard all in their prime.
They were worthy winners of Euro 88!
Such a lucky win for Holland, and yes a heartbreaking loss for Ireland. A draw was the correct score that game as i remember.
Yes, they were.
Ireland too that year had a good team, maybe if they more confidents they too could won Euro 88. Anyway Holland deserved to win Euro 88. But I would like to see them win the World Cup. People forget Holland is small country and produce great talent, One of great teams not to win a world Cup.
Wim Kieft lucky header.. I liked it tho...but Ireland ❤❤❤McGrath
That Dutch fan is breathtaking what a fan love from England
Who?
Marco Van Basten still my football idol, i remember 88 euro as it was yesterday, this squad was AMAZING, that's why i love Holland
Van Basten's goal was even more so sensational if you watch it in real time! I watched the final on TV, and simply couldn't believe it when the goal went in. Along with Maradona's 86 World Cup goal against England, and Dennis Bergkamp's strike against Newcastle in the Premiership, three greatest goals I ever seen in real time.
my dad had a seat behind the goal, he always tells me that supporters had to look twice like "did it really went in"
and Roy Wegerle's for QPR v Leeds 1990.
Because Im watching that ARTISTRY and think to myself; oh my God... what an art, what a football, what a player... for me, Dutch will always be THE BEST football nation, greets from Croatia. P.S. That Van Basten's goal is impossible goal, but possible by an artist and genius.
You should see his retirement at Milan. Still makes me choke. th-cam.com/video/MNs8jx89mpg/w-d-xo.html
@@dannyphilippo2719 thats such a sad stroy. He wasnt ready to quit football, his body just couldnt take it anymore.
Koeman, Rijkaard, Gullit, Van Basten...4 absolute legends!
yup kinda have all fronts covered, hopefully we get a generation like that. i mean yes frenkie de jong and van dijk are great but its to individual atm. These days holland doesnt feel like a complete team.
THE MOST DESERVED TITLE BY ANY NATIONAL TEAM EVER!
WHAT GREAT SWEET MEMORIES FROM THAT CHAMPIONSHIP!
A BIG SALUTE FROM BRAZIL TO ALL THE DUTCHMEN ALL OVER THE WORLD!
SUPERB CONQUER!!! AND FINALLY WON BY WHO DESERVE MOST IN EUROPEAN FOOTBALL.
🇳🇱❤🇧🇷
I remember this like yesterday. Cried throughout. And I have nothing to do with Holland (well, kind of), I'm South African. That's the power of this game for you. Beautiful.
Holland and south africa two great upset in sports. I wish Holland win football world cup and south Africa win cricket world cup. Two great teams in two different sports.
Brazil is my childhood team and my most favourite team ever. But, Holland is the team I respect most. We feel like crying when come to thinking that they(Holland)didn't win the World Cup that they should deserve to win when they have so many world class players. I pray one day Holland will win the World Cup. regards from Malaysia.
Kippenvel en tranen in de ogen. Gullit goal met zijn dikke zwarte dreadlocks, een fantastische goal van van Basten, en de penalty stop van van Breukelen. Wat een team. Wat een feest.
Of The World...Neterlands is Champion without a crown..
The father of Total Football ]
He was NOT the father of total football. It was the PLAYER Cruijff who at a poor Ajax game under Michels directed some players to play at different positions, act differently. It worked great and completely turned the game around. Michels observed this, thought we should always be doing this and claimed it to be his idea.
He was an awesome goalkeeper..
Nice to read this! I'll root for Croatia this final!!!!
Well done on the world cup !!!!'
To watch Holland hit the post in the last minute of injury time in Argentina was agonising.........Great to see them win here though..
This was, one of the best Generations of All Time.....Greatings from Portugal

In 1994 it was 1/4 final, not semi. They lost against Brasil of Romario and Bebeto
@@mouradkechad6968 Okay sure, thanks for correction, but it's only 1 match difference, I don't think that detracts from my point.
Also a tragic exit at the semi finals against the Azzurri on penalties in Euro 2000 on home soil

What a coincidence the town was called seedorff.
Was Clarence as little boy there as well?
i love the fact that at the end he gave a shoutout to the players on the bench because they also were such a huge part of the team, awesome
I'm Brazilian but I'll never forget this team what a team 👏👏👏👏
I'm Indonesian. I always support Holland both in Euro and World Cup. I just feel so close to Holland because of the Dutch priests served in my home town. In memoriam Fr. Frans Luiten SMM and Henk Kalter SMM. Regard from me, from the Heart of Indonesian Borneo.

Yes, but we want to win the World cup sometime.. But i think that will never happend.

They were close in France `98 Worldcup not to forget about the `74 & `78 worldcups too.
Billy Ocean And 2010.
+Fred Schriks
Yes, against Spain, they were close several times but unfortunately they didn't make it, just like the Hungarian great team of the 50s, sometimes in football the best team doesn't win a tournament , like Hungary during the 50s, Brazil of `82 Worldcup & of course Holland.
+Billy Ocean well it is significant
I was 12 during this tournament and this brings up so many good memories. Watching the semi-final at my grandparents where my grandfather, father, brother and me stood in the kitchen when Koeman took the penalty for 1-1... we couldn't watch it, so nervous. The whole tournament is a fantastic memory!

Holland Football is the real football in the world forever n ever The Netherlands is the exceptional example in beauty of football.
Van Basten volley is for the ages. Timeless classic. My fav GK Hans Van Breukelan.
Cruyuf, van basten, gulit, Rickard - what great players Holland has given to the world..all legends ..
Marco Van Basten’s goal may be the most beautiful goal ever made in history of football...
It's always nice to see germany play against netherlands.
I think the feelings luckily have changed over the past years, of course every side wants to win these hard battles, as games against the netherlands are seen as our international derby, but after the game we congratulate each other and can go for a few beers to discuss about the game further.
It has become a friendly rivalry if something like this exists. Greetings from germany!

Best team never to win a World Cup. They had such brilliant players since the 70’s to the early 90’s
19:12, Van Basten's volley really made the Russian goalkeeper staggered. That was an almost impossible strike at the goal but Van Vasten did it. I remember in our school football tournament at that time the orange jersey suddenly became a favourite jersey.
It's impossible not to like the Netherlands as a fan of football they are just a joy to watch
Gullit is such a great person. Even now he always says that if he saw Van Basten in front of the goal he'd rather give it to VBasten cos he was sure it would be a goal then. Very humble =) Missing Rijkaard in football. It is always great to hear him talk. Good man that. Great person.
rijkaard is a good analyst i wonder why he never really went into coaching feels like it would fit him well. He has vision.

Respect for such a comment and for Germany as one of the biggest football countries in the world.👏👍
All my life I have watched the Dutch. In 74 and 78 with my father. In 88 I was lucky enough to be in the Netherlands with my uncle when we won this tournament. The whole country erupted into the streets in a sea of orange. One of my fondest memories.
one of the countries with the best football philosophy in the world that has ever existed and they play with 'as simple as possible' but still entertaining and attacking, they also provide influence and inspiration to several big and historic clubs in world football. yes, they are. champions without a title or crown. Netherlands.
Totally agree! the best football team ever assembled with the best strategy. Total football at its finest are far better to watch than any other system.
I was 7 at the time and with my family, watched every game on tv.
Every replay takes me back.
Watched a awesome documentary on Bergkamp and his time at Arsenal. Whole of Arsenal were in awe of this man.
I love Holland, been supporting them since 88, Ruud Gullit was me favourite player at that time then I saw Dennis Bergkamp after that and he just blew me away
Holland sure has the densest ratio of football legends amongst their population by far. Some really crazy players.
Soy mexicana y me enamoré del fútbol gracias a la belleza del juego desempeñado por la Holanda del 88 tanto en selección como en clubes era un delite ver y seguir a sus enormes jugadores., mis amores Ronald Koeman y Marco Van Basten. Gracias Holanda, saludos mundo.

Ronald Koeman, mi gran ídolo junto a Michael Laudrup
Van Basten's goal in the final may well be the finest goal ever scored
Best improvised finish ever. Not some little flick which you could score in a 5-a-side but an absolute beast of a goal by one of the greatest strikers of all-time.
Technically.. You will never find a better finish than that..Absolutely stunning from a stunning footballer
Of course, with all those goals in more than a hundred years of international football, it's hard to say what was the best goal ever. But considering the importance of the goal, that being the decisive goal in the final of a big tournament, Van Basten's beauty certainly is one that will be remembered as long as people play football.
It was. Until Eden Hazard scored those ridiculous goals against Liverpool, Arsenal and West Ham!
Absolutely, agreed with that. Never seen such a goal before and after '88 in finals on the biggest stages of international football.
A lucky hit, but certainly he aimed for it. Gullit said at once: "He can do this a million time but he'll never score such a goal again".
My fav team - Netherlands
My fav players: Bergkamp, Van Basten, Gullit, Rijkaard
Nhat Nguyen no Bergkamp in this team
don't forget Koeman
There have been some legends from Holland for sure. Bergkamp came into the hearts in 1992.
Dele Rotimi he said his fav player, he doesn’t have to be in this team
And you didn’t mention the greatest Dutch player Johan Cruijff! Okay good luck on your future 🥱.
For me the goal of Ruud Gullit and Marc Van Basten in the final 1988 are the scores since 1960 start the Europe cup of Nations and the 2 best goals absolutely in all ' 900 century's . Ciao

What a wonderful team Holland was in 1988. I am from Romania so I had another very good reason to want CCCP (at that time) to lose that final. As I was in my 30s then, of course I remember Marco's gem of a goal. It's one for the history books. 🇷🇴❤️🇳🇱. We'll see how Holland will do at this World Championship. Their victory over Senegal yesterday was pretty good, but there's still a lot of work to be done to secure a 2nd trophy. Oh, btw, I am an 🏴 fan. I still watch THAT Van Basten goal in the final and still cannot believe it such a display of GENIUS!!! Best player I've ever seen.
He just explained about the goal that he was too tired to take the ball down and create the space, so he just took it at once. Remember a similar story from Ibrahimovic his first goal for LA galaxy, too tired to make the run so just do something briliant with it. Only somethings the very best can produce.
Fun fact, van basten said after the game his foot was hurting so he choose for a direct shot instead of take to Ball and takecmore actions

Great players this Van Basten and Gullit. Great finishers and dribblers.
Im hollam fan too from Venezuela from 1988 when i see for firts time play van Basten gullit a rickjar and Koeman

Try to picture this.
It's 98.Brasil xNetherlands.Semi-finals of the world cup. You're an eight year's old Brazilian. The side of your father's family are descendents of the Netherlands.Your father is a aficionado for football;he loves both teams;both nations. He organizes everyrhing for the game day to watch it with his kids.We all wake up early and the litlle city in the country of the great estate of Espirito Santo(Home of great community of dutch and germans imigrants)is just so damn silent it was kinda scary lol.The only places you would hear anything would be around the bars or probably around a field.Well we lived right in front of one of those. It was just mud;but it was to me at that time the best best on earth.Now..we start watching the game;we were like cheering for both;but we were indeed pulling more towards our Brazil(Ronaldo is my biggest idol;will probably be forever). The match was so exciting and we were so happy and all;idk what gave in to us;i think is the same thing when you watch a movie and start imitating it.We just needed to go outside;well to be honest i dont remember if my brother came too..haha
I got outside and a feel of our neighbor came to play at the field in front of our houses;mid game lol i still;to this day;can only count maybe another 4 times i have seen my father that angry haha he scremed and shouted and man;that was something. When i got right in front of the house he turned my ear and kept it that way and took me right in front of the tv.I cried for a few minutes;but then..what a game.Edgar Davids; The Boers brothers;Kluivert..I used to play with then in winning eleven;so that was a day to remember.
I can recite the starting line-up of one the best national sides ever, Holland 88, by heart: 1 Van Breukelen, 2 Van Tiggelen, 4 Ronald Koeman, 17 Rijkaard, 6 Van Aerle, 13 Erwin Koeman, 8 Mühren, 20 Wouters, 7 Vanenburg, 12 Van Basten, 10 Gullit (captain). Pinch hitter: 14 Kieft. The face of Rinus Michels after Marco van Basten's goal against Russia is priceless. The face of Marco van Basten after that goal is like "I don't know how I did that" Ik weet het niet :-)

Renato Camurça love from holland

Even though Spain was the one team to beat records any of those teams could only hope to dream with
The Dutch were great students of the Real Madrid and Spain football philosphy in the 60s
@@oe4188 Actually Rinus Michels & co came to Celtic park in 1967 to see how a team from a small city in a small country could win everything. And look what happened FACT.
What? Luis aragonés is the father spanish Styles Tiki Taka.
@@jaimegarcia9408 Bullshit, way before the spaniards, the brazilians already have the tiki - taka, just watch the Brazil of 82 or even of 70. The only diference, the brasilian game was really beautiful and the spanish was quite boring.
nice to read all the love for Holland in the comments..makes me proud. i will never forget '88, i was 7 and literaly everyone went crazy
Not only do you have a great team, I also lived in the Netherlands for 2 years. It was a very good time with great people.
Nederland in de jaren 80 is gelijk aan niet te stoppen machine
Thanks to the Netherlands the football is better. Beautiful documentary, music, t shirts, football and over all a great act of justice with this country, team and his coach, the greatest Rinus Michels. In other thing, if you know him, write the music's author used in the doc, please. Thanks for all. Greetings from Chile.
The netherlands. Sadly the best country who never won a world cup... So close so many times.😥
1_ Brazil 1982
2_ Holland 1974
3-_ Hungary 1954
Best teams in history and three of them never won a major trophy.
Those are, undoubtely the finest teams in history.
I'd put: 1- Hungary 1954
2- Netherlands 1974
3- Brazil 1982
@@Moncho1234 I witnessed Brazil 82 and Netherlands 74 live on TV but never seen Hungary 54 unless those two famous friendly matches against England on you.tube.
@@Khaledov10 I watched those Brazil and Low Countries live just like you. I had always heard about the "Mighty Magyars" and their prowess, but hadn't been able to watch any of their games before internet.
By now I am an absolute fan of them. My two favourite games are Hungary vs Brazil, "The Battle of Berna" WCF1954 quarterfinals, and Hungary vs Uruguay, "The Match of the Century" WCF1954 semifinals. There's extensive footage about both games in youtube. Football was a little bit slower back then, and I am most impressed by the speed at which those players made up their choices.
Also Argentina 2006
@@prosenjitroy9248 no definitely not portugal france italy germany were way better
Van Basten scores from an almost impossible angle.Magical!!
Agreat team...and also another thing about this team was the jersey they wore...such an attractive design...beautiful!!!best Ihave ever seen.
I hated this Holland team when I was a school kid because they beat England 3 - 1 and Gullit was so scary because of how strong and skillful he was but now I appreciate how good this was...
Was too young to know how this team came together and who was the manager / the squad, etc...
Brilliant video to explain everything
Seeing Holland win the world cup is a once in a lifetime moment
I am fan of Rudd Gulit and hollend . Love from Bangladesh.
I was on a ship sailing into Hamburg the morning after the Holland-Germany semi-final. The Captain tried to start a conversation with the German harbor pilot and asked him if he had watched the game the night before.
"Don't talk to me about the football" came the grumpy reply.
Hahaha
Well, well, as a German I remember sailing in Friesland two years later, I don‘t remember Dutch people like to speak about football😂
But hey, you folks had a fantastic team in 88, and you deserved winning. It is really interesting how much our relation as neighbors has changed to better since the hatefull days of 70‘s and 80‘s. See you next year in the EM Final.
@@dikon0172Germany🤝The Netherlands as good neighbours.😊✌️👍
Van Basten was always my hero. Such a silky striker....Good health Marco....from Poland
That striker you guys have now isn’t to bad either!!!
I remember watching the '88 championship as kid and loving the Dutch strip, excellent kit and of course a superb, fluid, attacking side.
