This boss was kind of a struggle at first 😅 It took me a minute to figure out the behavior and stop playing so timid. Let me know what builds you used to take on this boss?
I used a normal build. bipedal with energy missile and heavy multi missiles on the left shoulder. ( that you get from training ) and a pulse bubble gun with default blade. Called my AC Grand Solitude. But later I decided to S rank this mission with A tank build, with Two heavy laser cannons and bazooka and default blade. Never user the heal Once!
I beat him earlier. Wish I had seen this first. Every other vid recomends a build i didnt feel like exiting out to make lol. I appreciate you taking a simple approach explaining general strategies than can be applied to any build
Thanks for the comment! Yeah, I feel like boss guides and builds should be separate videos. I usually show my build at the end of the video just in case anyone wanted to see what I used. I forgot to on this one. IMO, Fights can be won simply by figuring out the patterns and mechanics and if you have the weapons and abilities that amplify damage, that’s a plus. I just beat him… I used the Plasma Rifle and the Pulse Gun to break down his shield. Right at the end my pulse gun ran out of bullets and I was just punching… the kill shot was a desperate punch! OMG this game is so tough…

yo..i am using the song birds and blade...i didnt know you could hold 2 melees when you upgraded...i put the pile driver and the blade on....what builds you recommened?

Just beat him like an hour thanks to your suggestion of using a sword 😁I'd been using the pulse gun and some other random gun. With the sword and SMG, I was able to get him down
youre such a legend i swear! i was on this boss for over 5 hours because my build was so bad and i didnt want to start the mission again because of the boss before this but i did anyway and that pulse rifle is so good thankyou!
Helps to know that the other sword sucks for him. That's what I was using and it just either wouldn't hit or would cause me to get hit from the lengthy animation. But otherwise I switched up from the laser mortars cause they just felt like they weren't doing shit. Idk if it's been patched or what but his shield would not stay down. No matter how hard I kept on him. Still a good strategy though.
I don’t believe that it’s been patched. The only reason I didn’t mention the other sword is because I didn’t have it unlocked at the time to compare it. It’s good to know it isn’t as useful tho. Thanks for the input!
Yeah he started the project and then turned it over to work on Elden Ring. The point I was making was that people were saying “AC6 is not going to be a souls game.” It’s also a little tongue in cheek
Ive fought him over 30 times and ive never been as pissed at a boss. Ive played through bloodborne and all the other souls games but for some reason he just loves to spam every move the entire time without giving me a second to react.
Yeah that’s why you to initiate right away because it’ll get you into a stun lock. This strategy works on a boss you’ll fight later on too. I know it sucks but trust me it took me a bunch of tries before recording this
@@rivtekk I've since defeated him. Had to go to work so I bashed my head against the wall and finally won. And ye, I was trying to be as aggressive as humanly possible, I probably compromised my immune system for the next 2 days doing that shit lol.
if your really struggling with this boss, two hand the plasma bubble shooters to basically get rid of his sheild instantly, then follow up with 2 laser rifles on both shoulders for the dps phase while the shield is down
Thanks for the tip! I’ll have to try this out either on NG+ or run it back. I has a pulse build for a whole but all the bubble ACs in arena were trashing me. Took me a second to realize bubbles cancel out plasma.

It was pretty challenging but once you beat him, You get that same type of Excitement when you were playing games on the ps2.
That’s what makes fromsoft great. Defeating Bosses feels like such an accomplishment in gaming.

This boss is horrifying like the worst experience imaginable all you do the whole fight is chase him around while dodging missiles pretty lame

Double shotguns and vertical plasma launchers, shreds him in no time.

No matter what I do or how close i stay on him his shield pops up , idk why but this guide ain't working for me that great.
You have to keep hitting him. Spread out your shots a little more in order to keep the stagger going for longer. Best of luck!
How do you heal in AC6?
Press up on the D-Pad if you’re on controller. I’m not sure what the MNK bind is.

If you have a high stagger weapon like a shotgun or songbird, it wrecks him.
