In this video I’m telling you all about my grand ‘31 starts’ plans and the results, my 2023 finishes, an updated wip parade after UFO’ing a few and adopting them out, 2024 plans and a little bit of love for my mum at the end. I haven’t done any shoutouts on this video as my time ran out for filming and honestly I can’t remember everyone who said lovely things, I don’t want to name some and forget others. I appreciate each and everyone of you.

I just love the way you talk about your children, they will know how blessed they are to have a mum like you. Your eldest sounds like my middle grandson, a kind and generous soul so rare on this earth. Treasure all your children, time goes so fast, in the blink of an eye, but then if you are really lucky they bring back their children and boy they really melt your heart! Take care sweet lady. You are an awesome delight! I totally enjoyed watching your recent flosstube…and have immediately gone back to your 1st one and have been binge watching all of them! I truly love your presentations and your enjoyment of our shared passion for cross stitching! Your choices to stitch are inspiring and I’ve made note of three I have to start soon! For the witch training academy you could get all the called for flosses together and see how they look with that fabric. Also they have hoops that are meant to frame round cross stitches.

I think the shambles wip is fine 🙂. Though the colours are a bit different, you can still see what it is, and it looks good to me 😊.

Happy to see you back! If you’re unsure about the green fabric for Witches Training Academy just do a floss toss. If the colors still pop and don’t get lost you’ll be fine. If there’s a couple that’s don’t, just swap those out . The mouse chart was the sweetest from your son ❤Happy Stitching! 🧵 🪡

I have actually found out more info about the designer snd the whole dang pattern series. It’s apparently all available on CD for that time frame!

I wanted to throw this out there as you mentioned needing circular frames: look for mirrors or clocks while you're out thrifting. Sometimes the backs can be popped out and the glass/plastic covering the front removed.. I've found they can be useful when trying to frame a circular piece.

For that bright green fabric, you can always distress the fabric... I think it would change how some of those colors will show up...

My bros family lives in Yarm in No Yorkshire and when I visit them we often visit York. I also have very fond memories of a trip I took home with my mum many years ago and we spent a week at a B&B in York and explored the nooks and crannies. Steph in NJ US

Loved your video. You had some amazing finishes last year, and lots of great stuff to stitch in 2024. Tell your mum that she is too particular - her bags are amazing! I would order one but I am in the US and the postage would be crazy! Stay safe and keep stitching!

I think that with how much love you have for the shambles, you should make the stitch perfect! So I would probably restart on a 40ct and rechart the colors with DMC! It’s such a lovely little pattern!!
If you ever decide to sell your Cewec troll pattern when you’re done, I’m very interested! It’s such a fun piece!

Hi Lindsay! Oh your Owls will be darling so tiny! I just started mine this year and it will be giant, but it is a comfort stitch that way. And now I need nimble birds, you must be right, I think it is new. I had never seen it, but oh my! ❤ I completely agree about PTP "Sand", it suits every projects. :) Well done, again! Yay, another Lyndsey Wolfy Stitches video!! There's no way I could do 31 starts in a month - I'm a bit like you in that I start a kit/pattern, and I just can't put it down. I like the Shambles actual colors. I say, continue with it. It's not "potato" (lol), but it's nice. & what a sweet tradition to start with your son. Melts your heart! Tell your mom that we love her bags - that 1st penguin set is definitely a fave, though! & by the way, you said Teton correctly - it's like tee-tawn - with the emphasis on the first syllable. Take good care of yourself - hope baby girl lets you get some sleep. ☺🧡

Loved Flosstube #2! Great to see you back. I adore that little Shambles pattern, my brother lives in Leeds and I visited for the first time last year and went to York and got to walk around the Shambles, it's fabulous. I wonder if you can choose your own DMC threads by taking the chart and the model picture, will be tricky but you may be happier with the finished result. A DMC thread chart is a great investment. 💗
Oh isnt York so wonderful! Im going to finish my mini shambles but I'm thinking of stitching a large pattern of the shambles now!

I would say that DMC floss probably would not change colors unless is was exposed to direct sunlight over a long time. Maybe overdyed floss would be different?

I loved watching your flosstube. Your village looks great as is. In the past when the colors called for don’t look like the photo, I take the pic to the store and match DMC to the photo. I do love the way the village looks on your fabric though. Look forward to seeing more of your videos.

I love your mini Shambles. I just finished stitching the Derwent Water Designs for my Nanna and the Pattern photo was different to the threads and the pattern too. I stuck with it though and it looked good in the end. I say to power through! 🤙🏻 Loved all your other stuff too ❤

Taken me a few days to catch up properly with mum life but made me laugh about accents (I’m Essex and now living in Suffolk and things always sound different. I thought my partner said he has chicken hands but he said he had chilly hands😂)

The dragon pattern you are looking for is by Dragon Dreams. It was in the 2006 Just Cross Stitch special ornament issue. I have the issue or I know there is a DVD of the christmas issues.

Oh your mum’s project bags are just the cutest 😍 I’m currently obsessed with A5 size bags or I definitely would have picked one up - I need to keep a lookout for some of those fabrics!
I think you’re right about finding a different pattern for that fabric (also, how amazing that you actually already had some in the “wrong” count!), the Kathy Barrick is stunning and it would be a shame to have anything get lost. Autumn Lane Stitchery do some cool Halloweeny patterns that are mostly black that could work beautifully.

We can buy from Russia in the UK now but the prices are really high.
Very sad😢 their economic should not be supported in any way. They should not be able to produce more weapon, we won't stand for too long against them 😢
