So happy to have found you on Flosstube, very easy to listen to. You have some really great projects!! We do not have many wips in common currently , but I have the majority of your wips in my stash……and seeing them in progress makes me want to start them all 😂. I have not actually thought about stitching Tingles until just now after seeing your finish behind you. I absolutely love it, and want to stitch it!! After all, isn’t that why we all watch Flosstube…..to be inspired, and build a stash that we could never get through in a lifetime??? For me probably 7 lifetimes 😳. I just retired so now I am watching the whole series for the first time. I had to smile when you showed your previous finishes. You said exactly what I feel. Those Tingles designs are so cute. I hadn't seen them before. I recently got back into stitching after a long time away so I'm sure that's why. I just happened to start exploring flosstube as you came out with your first video. Today I actually stitched while watching you, which was awesome to get some work done. I, too, stitch a variety of things (samplers, smalls, full-coverage, seasonal…). Over the past year I’ve become enamored with wool appliqué - so much fun and quicker than cross stitch. Fantastic floss tube, just love your energy☺️. Pumpkin is a big favourite of mine, but coming from the UK we don’t celebrate it as much as you guys do, mostly gets made into spicy pumpkin soup in our household😉 I am currently stitching a huge sampler and oh boy, those ABC’s are sure taking their time to stitch up, but I’m sure when it is all finished I will get the Tingles every time I walk past it knowing how much work has gone into it. I tried the app, didn't like it either, so I went back to a paper working copy for some larger charts. My plan for 2024 is to work on my WIPs (so I need to start a few more by the end of the year, lol) and get some WIPs out of Time-Out, and only start a "small" every once in a while, like an ornament per month. Cute Finishes!!!
"Time out" is a good way to describe the status of some WIPs, haha. Great plan! I love the idea of an ornament each month and otherwise focusing on WIPs. Thanks for watching!
Hello Miss Ashley, I had to laugh at your Gilmore Girls comment, we loved that show too! I am so happy that you made another flosstube, I had lost your first one and didn't subscribe. Boohoo! But here you are again, so I subscribed first, then watched! I enjoyed seeing all your pieces, very talented and so much work! I'm just starting. There aren't any cross stitch stores here in San Diego (that I know of), so I am learning a lot from flosstubes. I did purchase some small patterns on a trip to Albuquerque this summer. I find it difficult buying the fabric. I like to see the color and haven't quite decided which count is right for me. Just keep trying! I've been enjoying Julie and Jane's Running with Scissors. They are two ladies from Minnesota and make me just giggle (I'm originally from Wisconsin and they are my age). I like your philosophy of you stitch what you want! Happy stitching!

I know what you mean, it takes some time to decide what fabric is your favorite. I used to purchase a few of the smallest cuts from 123Stitch, the 8x12 pieces at $3-$4/each, to help me be able to decide/compare. Thank you for the Flosstube recommendations, I will check them out! I found your flosstube after seeing Clare’s recommendation in the Facebook group of For the Love of Stitching. I, too, live in NorCal (Sacramento area). I love your projects. I, too, stitch a variety of things (samplers, smalls, full-coverage, seasonal…). Over the past year I’ve become enamored with wool appliqué - so much fun and quicker than cross stitch. Awesome video! I loved seeing all of your Autumn finishes. I've just been stitching for about a year now and have stuck with smaller pieces but I also have a stack of things I need to FFO 😊 It does take a totally different type of energy. Fantastic floss tube, just love your energy☺️. Pumpkin is a big favourite of mine, but coming from the UK we don’t celebrate it as much as you guys do, mostly gets made into spicy pumpkin soup in our household😉 I am currently stitching a huge sampler and oh boy, those ABC’s are sure taking their time to stitch up, but I’m sure when it is all finished I will get the Tingles every time I walk past it knowing how much work has gone into it. I tried the app, didn't like it either, so I went back to a paper working copy for some larger charts. My plan for 2024 is to work on my WIPs (so I need to start a few more by the end of the year, lol) and get some WIPs out of Time-Out, and only start a "small" every once in a while, like an ornament per month. Cute Finishes!!!
"Time out" is a good way to describe the status of some WIPs, haha. Great plan! I love the idea of an ornament each month and otherwise focusing on WIPs. Thanks for watching!

I had to laugh at your Gilmore Girls comment, we loved that show too! I am so happy that you made another flosstube, I had lost your first one and didn't subscribe. Boohoo! But here you are again, so I subscribed first, then watched! I enjoyed seeing all your pieces, very talented and so much work! I'm just starting. There aren't any cross stitch stores here in San Diego (that I know of), so I am learning a lot from flosstubes. I did purchase some small patterns on a trip to Albuquerque this summer. I find it difficult buying the fabric. I like to see the color and haven't quite decided which count is right for me. Just keep trying!
I've been enjoying Julie and Jane's Running with Scissors. They are two ladies from Minnesota and make me just giggle (I'm originally from Wisconsin and they are my age).
I like your philosophy of you stitch what you want! Happy stitching!

I know what you mean, it takes some time to decide what fabric is your favorite. I used to purchase a few of the smallest cuts from 123Stitch, the 8x12 pieces at $3-$4/each, to help me be able to decide/compare. Thank you for the Flosstube recommendations, I will check them out! I lived in Wisconsin for a brief time when I was younger. Happy stitching!

Love your Satsuma Street ornaments! They do sparkle, don't they! I am working on Partridge and Pear! My daughter loves birds so I thought this one would look good on her Christmas tree. Have lots of others on my wish list! Wonderful Floss tube. Need to go back and watch your first one too!

Wonderful just wonderful episode, Ashley. I really like all the stitches you do. Autumn is my favorite season and I roasted a pumpkin from our garden and made yummy pumpkin bread last week. 😋 This time of year gives me all the tingles 😊 ABC!
