I've had Springboard in my "to review" list for a spell. But I've been trying to find a role that allows me to do use my design and workflow experience,. I was told by a programming bud that I may want to consider UX Design, though I like elements of both UX and UI, I just do not want to be talking or presenting too much.
I'd say go for it! UX design is all about visual design, mapping out user workflows and improving their experience. There is a good amount of talking and presenting your ideas though
Hi Stephanie, what is your opinion/ what have you heard on UX Apprenticeships? I have a bach degree in Web/App Development & the Google UX Cert and as of right now I applied for Interaction Design Grad School, but even if I get in, I don't think I can afford it at all, even with loans. I haven't been able to find work in a year and this includes things outside of UX like retail and food service. I just feel really helpless and would love to do a bootcamp as well but I have no money. So I am applying to apprenticeships that require no upfront cost from me. Do you have any advice for someone like me?
Is there any apprenticeship or internship you heard or know of to gain more experience in UX/UI design. I don’t have the money for bootcamps to pay up front at the moment, so any information would be highly appreciated. Thank you :)
Thank you! I am in Springboard and am very happy! Half way through. Totally appreciate your honesty! We need that so we can prepare
Glad it was helpful!
I’m so lost seeing all these job postings for Sr. designers, lead designers, director designer. I’m just the sad hamster meme with my jr resume 🐹🥺
This was great!

Hi Stephanie! Did you learn any coding basics in the UX/UI Springboard course?
Hey! No I didn’t learn any coding basics but I recommend knowing a bit about code and how it works when it comes to creating a design
