So little views. Apparently the younger generation has no clue as to the magic of music that was produced during the '60s, '70s and '80s. As far as I'm concerned, I grew up during the best era of music ever created. Thanks for posting.
you are so correct, the kids now have no clue about music. good luck finding any one with a clew about good music, i would rather be deft than have to listen to todays shit music.
Many haven't. With Heart's pop decades you have to dig back to their rock origins. Took me a while to discover how phenomenal rock artists they were (are).
...and the Wilson sisters/Heart prove yet again what stellar interpreters of Led Zeppelin they are. I doubt if anyone can beat them in that departement. Thumbs up indeed!
The Wilson sisters along with every band member they ever had throughout the decades were always notorious for performing excellent versions ( for the most part ) of Zeppelin tunes..........better than most other bands.
Including LZ. Frankly part of the time I like Heart's covers of LZ more than I like a live performance of LZ, that is once you get past their Song Remains the Same tour. The tour they did after releasing Houses of the Holy was magical, especially when they played "Since I've Been Loving You", but after that Plant's voice was struggling too much, Page was on drugs and Bonham was often drunk and it didn't go so well.
At 60, I first fell in love with Led Zeppelin when I was 6. My oldest brother played Whole Lotta Love… on vinyl. I was moved, and a rock fan was born. Through adolescence, Heart… and so many others moved me. Music makes you feel. When I see Ann & Nancy perform, especially with Jason… I can’t help but tear up. Our generation has the best music.
"A new interpretation" ?????? Let me tell ya something: I've been performing this song for decades, both playing guitar and singing it at the same time. I've always been a perfectionist, and I'm here to tell you they performed this song EXACTLY like the original studio album version by Zeppelin. Every instrument hit every note & nuance exactly like it was originally recorded. Of course Ann improvised some of the vocals, but VERY little.
The first concert I ever saw was Heart in San Antonio 1978. Annie and Nancy are still showing how it's done. The part of Kashmir when the melody transitions; "All I see turns to brown" has made me close my eyes for 43 years. And this rendition is no different. Thank you for sharing this. Peace to everyone.
I saw Heart and Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience in Milwaukee in 2013. The "encore" was 5 Zep songs: The Battle of Evermore, The Rain Song, The Song Remains the Same, KASHMIR, and Stairway to Heaven!! Epic show!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
wow!!..this performance is stellar in so many levels like a religious experience. I hope this tour coverage will be released on dvd. 4:30-4:36 Ann Wilson taking in all the energy and love from the fans. :)
Underwear down, dudes!! You're gonna get BLOWN AWAY‼️Who better but son of a legend drumming to pay tribute? Jason puts some personal touches yet maintaining a crisp and precise beat
I know ya posted your comment here over 10 years ago.....but what do you expect..........there are SEVEN band members performing it: THREE guitar players, bass PLUS a keyboard player, Jason on the drums, and Ann singing, that's a total of 7. The original Zeppelin lineup was only 4. But I do agree, they kicked total ass on this song. It's the best cover of a Zeppelin song that Ann & Nancy ever did........barr none.
Seen 'em live 4 times. First time at the first Portland Jam (OR) in 1977. I was just in junior high school. My first rock concert. I still remember this drunk guy puking into a trash can I was sitting near. Several bands played with Heart closing out the show. Fun memories. 😉
Love it ann and nancy do rock it as well as zep them selves I hate when other people try to do songs and can't even get close to doing dillagence to the original song peace out the dirt hippie says respectfuly
LOL I've seen several Zep tribute bands who sound nowhere near as good as Heart do covering Zep songs. Ann's vocals are perfectly suited to this style. Amazing.
Ann Wilson would have to be the only other vocalist other than Robert Plant that makes the hairs stand up on the back of the neck listening to this masterful cover 🤘🤘♥️
Heart is the only band that can replicate Led Zeppelin Tunes and kill it every time🎸🥁🎤👍💯

Amen To That !!!
Saw Zeppelin four, five times back in the seventies and eighties. One of the best ever.
you are so correct, the kids now have no clue about music. good luck finding any one with a clew about good music, i would rather be deft than have to listen to todays shit music.
Kids now are idiots and do not know the history of anything much less great music
Many haven't. With Heart's pop decades you have to dig back to their rock origins. Took me a while to discover how phenomenal rock artists they were (are).
Every time Heart covers Zeppelin, the world stops to listen and marvel.....Ann and Nancy become Led Zeppelin.....Truly remarkable......
Well said my friend, that's exactly what I am doing!
Heart is the female version of Led Zeppelin.
That's affirmative
Bardesses from the sunset country...
Stairway to heaven at the Kennedy center was the best .... absolutely amazing!
...and the Wilson sisters/Heart prove yet again what stellar interpreters of Led Zeppelin they are. I doubt if anyone can beat them in that departement. Thumbs up indeed!
Without a doubt that's why when they played Stairway to heaven it had the Kennedy center all in tears
Amen
The fact that Jason Bonham chose to join them says a lot about their street cred
They had cred before Jason could talk.
The Wilson sisters along with every band member they ever had throughout the decades were always notorious for performing excellent versions ( for the most part ) of Zeppelin tunes..........better than most other bands.
The only band to do Led Zeppelin justice. The music of the Goddess. Ann and Nancy were heard in Valhalla
And Jason's true love was motocross
. . . .Amen. I saw them in early '80's, and yes, they did Led zeppelin. and you and I, we know Valhalla . . . . .
Love watching Ann obviously having a blast.
Jason is proof that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree :)
GREAT
10/10 performance by Jason! This is probably the best cover of Kashmir I've ever heard.
Including LZ. Frankly part of the time I like Heart's covers of LZ more than I like a live performance of LZ, that is once you get past their Song Remains the Same tour. @@johndoh5182 Yeah, but they still delivered until the end you have to say. Not every song every time, but undeniable gems to the end.
My God, Ann can still belt out those notes!

Saw Zeppelin live in 77 in Cincy for free Birthday Present from childhood Friend whom was My Best Man later same Year . What an Band!!!!!
Speechless.....What an amazing cover.
Stephanie, it is an awesome live experience. I am a part of the choir that sings with them on the finale song. It is totally an epic experience.
Phenomenal. Wow. The band is so tight and Jason brings DOWN the low end. The band is so good and Ann’s vocals are right in the pocket!
Yes tight they are.Even Heart from the late 70s were always a fine structured band.the Wilson sisters always had it together
Whew! 30 years recovering drug addict here feeling this magic kicks my dopamine receptors nice and hard.
This is more than a "cover" this is a new interpretation.

Wow! I am speachless. I have seen Heart in concert, but I've never seen them do this song. What a performance. Ann was spectacular. 💜
Every band member was spectacular. This is one of, if not the best LIVE version of this song ever performed, barr none.
kept that riff at the perfect tempo for 8 minutes, on top of everything else - stellar
That's why Nancy is one of the best ever
All hail the Wilson sisters!
As expected Heart is awesome, Jason is magnificent!

great rendition of this song!
Oh…my…goddess of ROCK!!! How is this the first time I am seeing this? Are you f’ing kidding me? This is GOLD! 💜 🎸 🎤 🎶
You could not have possibly come any closer to feeling like you were listening to a zeppelin performance.. amazing that brought me way back
wow!!..this performance is stellar in so many levels like a religious experience. I hope this tour coverage will be released on dvd.

PHENOMENAL!!!
Ann jumping around on stage like a spright 30 year old. 63 years old here, wow.
qui est capable aujourd'hui de "pondre" une musique pareille ????? led zep for ever ........
Goddamn Ann! You are the shit!
This rivals Led Zeppelin. Damn I want to see them live.
I know ya posted your comment here over 10 years ago.....but what do you expect..........there are SEVEN band members performing it: THREE guitar players, bass PLUS a keyboard player, Jason on the drums, and Ann singing, that's a total of 7. Her voice will sound as sweet and powerful until shes in heaven
She not Jason is the star here
this made my eyes water. So siiiick.
Awesome Ann & Nancy! Wonderful! Thank you Jason!
If ANYONE Could Come Close to LZ ... It’s Ann and Nancy with Some Great Help on Drums....
Seen 'em live 4 times. First time at the first Portland Jam (OR) in 1977. I was just in junior high school. My first rock concert. I still remember this drunk guy puking into a trash can I was sitting near. Several bands played with Heart closing out the show. Fun memories. 😉
La più bella cover di kashmir mai sentita...👏👏👏🌹❤️
I don't care about her weight she is so pretty and talented. I would be honored just to talk to her she is a rock goddess
She said she didn't care about your weight either!

They've been play zep longer than zep did. Zep liked it also
LOL I've seen several Zep tribute bands who sound nowhere near as good as Heart do covering Zep songs. Ann's vocals are perfectly suited to this style. Amazing.
This footage is incredible. Looks "official". Could it be from a source that has potential to release a full concert dvd?

hand clapping at home in front of my computer! >.
WoW!!
L O V E!!!!
❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️
Zeppelin's favorite zep song.
And I see Jason has gone PAISTE !!!!!! Nice…..😎🥁
Quite a number of L Z songs would sound better sung by a woman. When the Levy Breaks tops that list.
what a fox\
And when it comes time for making out-put on side 1 of Led Zeppelin IV. Mike Damone.

Ann and Nancy do Led Zeppelin very well, but for me, I would much rather hear their original songs with the original band.
NO FUCKING ELAINE DAVIS !
