I worked at Subway in college..lost a lot of faith in my fellow humans! I had one lady arguing over which lettuce to put on her sub even though the lettuce is the same and came from the same bag she insisted on having both kinds..sigh. We put it in two bins so we have enough and don't run out too fast, not because it's different kinds lol...nope, it's all shredded iceburg lol.

I liked people's logic with the bread. You worked at Subway, so you know its white bread, the same white bread with the cheese sprinkled on (Monterey cheddar), or the same white bread with the cheese sprinkled on and rolled in the italian herb (italian herb and cheese). So if we ever ran out of italian herb, for some reason the Monterey cheddar bread was just a terrible idea and they went straight to the white bread. If they can't have the herb, forget the cheese too I guess.....
Or, when we advertised turkey jalapeno sub. A sub you could have ordered at any time anyway, its just a turkey sub with jalapenos and the cheddar cheese. So really our advertisement was just a suggestion. But as soon as we did, all those people started ordering it like it was something new.
I don't use the word sheeple often but man...sometimes there just isn't any other word for it.
