      Two words: bolt cutters. My hands could never do that. Maybe with bolt cutters. Or, macrame.

    Excellent tutorial on the hangers. I had to get creative for me smaller plants so I can hang them. I use plain wire coat hangers for 2" and 4" pots by cutting the hanger and straightening it out, then I mold a hoop that is slightly smaller than the pot close to the hanger hook and then with the excess I make another on below the first hoop so I can hang smaller plants together. All you have to do is bend the hoops to desired angle. Its really cute. You can also divide the hoops and make a small hook at the top to hang on a decorative board or on a wall. Wire is your best friend when it comes to usefulness with plants.

    • @BasiePlants
      @BasiePlants  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I also made some hangers for small pots or more like a hop that holds the pot. They are cute :) Maybe I can use more of those in my grow tent.

    Always a fan! I would looooove to find a video about young hoya leaves yellowing! All of my hoyas start developing leaves but they all turn yellow! It happens in my Bella, Lanceolata, Kerrii, calistophylla, finlaysonii serpens, Mathilde! Can you give me some advice? or make a video about it maybe? I think it's a very usual problem but there's no much videos talking about it. Always great to see u! 💚

    I love your diy hanger system - so creative and it looks great. I finally got around to making a large trellis, using your PVC-coated wire fencing method, and I am so thrilled. I combined four of my pubicalyx splashes into one large pot and gave it a large trellis. Can't wait to watch it fill the trellis. It managed to vine its way through the top of my Vittsjo shelf in three spots, so I knew it needed a better solution, haha. Thank you for the constant planty inspiration! Oh, and I used a pair of 8-inch Bolt Cutters (they're the size of a pair of pliers) and they cut through the fencing so easily!

    Hi! Miro! I always enjoy your videos! You are so calming and funny and I learn soo much! I was curious, I don't see any humidifiers, and your Hoyas looks so healthy. Also when you water your plants you just let the water drain in the saucers? I have to take my plants to the sink every time I water them. What am I doing wrong?! Sending you hugs from Brooklyn, NYC!

    I swear I go back and forth with growing medium's. I tend to allow the plants to tell me for the most part. I usually begin every plant in Leca. Then depending on their needs and growth, I may transfer to soil (I mix up my own). My Hoya's prefer soil 100%.

It is now here in Western Australia just finishing out first month of Autumn and I am wondering if it is still ok to transfer my Hoya's from soil into leca or should I wait until next Spring/Sumer to do them? :-) I do have a lot of other different plants in leca and I am just starting to get a real interest in Hoya's :-)

I purchased a clothes rack that kind of works but takes up a lot of space for the amount of plants I can hang on it. Only about 3 max. Thanks for the video. 💚🌿🪴🌱💚
