Do you have a great personality I love the way you handle your videos. You are funny I enjoy that. Thank you for being who you are and thank you for making the videos. I appreciate it.😊
Those lacunosas are so beautiful and for me the winners! My best growers have been my sunrise which has been like a weed since day 1, my crassipetiolata which I only got a couple months ago but has ambitions of taking over the world, and my krohniana super silver which took off once it started growing in my care. Worst grower, krimson princess, she hates me. Best bloomer, carnosa rope. Honorable mention, skinneriana. Not a crazy amount of leaves that aren't babies, but I now have a 10+ foot vine that can't climb any higher that I'll eventually have to cut off of my shelf.
I'm so in love with your Hoya Pandurata. 😍 Even the crazy one. 😄 The leaf form looks so special and different. Btw it's insane how much all Hoyas have grown. It shows what perfect conditions can do.
Oh, I am not sure I am in love with the regular one xD But I think they look good in the bottom of my Hoya wall - polyneura, pandurata, lobbii and burmanica. They make it look fuller :)
@@BasiePlants It grows a bit like Hoya Bella. I think it definitely looks better when the plant is smaller. I would buy either one of them if the price was right.
My Hoya australis along with my caudata sumatra definitely were the growth champions this year. On the bottom is my imbricata that I still have not thrown out only because I’m still holding out hope she’ll do something…anything
Another great video Miro! My fastest grower has been my Hoya Khroniana silver. Growing like crazy. Has more than doubled in size since the end of Oct. 😮. My slowest is my Hoya Wayetii. Barely doing anything since Dec 2021 😞 💚🌱💚
We loves the lacunosa, we does! When I got mine, I soon noticed that the greenhouse had snipped every branch back, so though it is gorgeously healthy, there has been no growth in 2 months. But a great beauty.💐
Love the pandurata! My fastest growers are the Hoya macrophylla albomarginata and the Hoya Krohniana super silver (is it lacunosa now?). Although my New Guinea ghost was only a 3 leaf cutting and bought less than 2 months ago, it’s pushing out new leaves like a champ.
Krohniana is still krohniana for now (if you got it under that name). Macrophylla... we don't know what that is :) the plants sold as macrophylla are latifolias :) Nicholsoniae NGG is really a fast one! I wish more were like that xD
Right?! They are so different under the same conditions. It is wild! But I do prefer the flowers on the one that kinda looks ugly XD The color is nicer imo. But I prefer the leaves on the Vietnamese clone xD If only we could combine them...
Awwww… I was set to see you do something you hadn’t done on video yet and… you go and whip out that gorgeous pandurata.😊 seriously I have discovered a new love for hoya leaves with patterns interspersed with splash. Oh and we come back for the trellises…yep the trellises 😉
Hahaha :D Well, whipping out pandurata is certainly something I have done before :D Haha, the trellises are getting better and better really. I might need to get a printer to print out some award for myself.
Another winner video. Very very funny. I do watch a lot of video on hoya and no one is as entertaining and informative as you. It is still cold here in New England USA so my wish list keeps growing. I will probably watch this video many times so I can add to my wish list. I do have all my hoya in self watering pots so I would like to know where you got the new one from.
My selfwatering pots are from a company called Santino. They are 4 euros here for the 12cm pots. :) Oh yes, it is still too cold here to order hoyas but my wishlist didn't get that info and keeps growing xD
My favourite is pandurata splash, it's growing like crazy 🥰 and her dark green - blue color is just beautiful. My golden eye is also growing very fast. Hugs for you 🤗❤️
Oh I’m so happy to hear. I just bought one and it’s quite different from the rest of my Hoyas (lot more woody looking) that I was worried it won’t grow much
I enjoyed your video a lot :) My best growing - and flowering! - hoya was hands down the Caudata. Absolute over achiever, both the mother plant and the cutting I grew out. Flowered all winter long and grew so well. The worst are Khroniana Silver, Wayetii and Heuschkeliana regular green form. These guys just want to die on me 👀
Caudatas are very nice, especially the ones that were called aff.caudata (with bigger flowers). So easy to bloom and so frequent! Oh yeah, my silver lacunosa is really not feeling well either. Too much underwatering and too many mites xD Green heusckeliana is also not awesome, soooo much worse than the variegated one, makes no sense xD
Oyyyy the leaves of the Pandurata is sooo beautiful. Weirdly enough my Hindu rope (even w/ the relentless mealies) and my Hoya Polyneura grew so much last year and is still putting out new leaves this year. BTW have you seen the new Viola Drina pots? It looks like it's for hoyas. Hoping it's gonna be sold in the local supermarkets or garden mom and pop shops here in Serbia
I have not seen the new pots! But I am pretty happy with these so far - finally true selfwatering pots in Serbia! You can look them up, happyfloradoo sells them :) They are also around 400rsd for a pot, so a bit more expensive than Drina but sooo much more useful imo. :D
Thank you for the growrh update. My best growing hoya from a cutting might be balansae. H. obovata that I got as rooted plant has not been growing well, maybe time to check the roots!
@@BasiePlants Balaensis is not fast and my kittens were climbing on its trellis: good bye new leaves. Still faster than obovata though. I mean't the small leaved balansae is fast.
@@BasiePlants I'll have to watch for one. One of the things I enjoy about your videos (other then your humor and somewhat sense of the absurb ) is you take the time to talk abit of the plant's origins and your growing experience with them.
Hi Miro, why do some Hoyas have many roots at the nodes and some Hoyas havealmost none? It was interesting to see the before and after pictures of the Hoyas growth ( or not!) Nice video, love your sense of humor 😂🪴🗿
I am not sure :) Some in my tent will readily throw out long aerial roots, others, not so much, even in super high humidity. I guess some are more willing to attach to something than others :)
I use RainMix fertilizer, same as MSU fertilizer in the US. I use rain water, dehumidifer water, RO water (sometimes with tap water) + fertilizer to water. Depends what is available and how lazy I am :)
What hoyas would you like me to update you on next? 👀 (if you would 😅)
Those you said you wouldn't cut ever. I remember from your variegated hoyas video. Was it kentiana, and some others also?
Just in general an inventory of your hoya stock would be great 👀
I would like to see updates on the "problem children" in your collection. The ones that had struggles but have overcome them...give me hope lol
Any Albo-variegated hoya! And of course, your Undulata! Oh and let's see the mitrata!
I would love to see your flagellata! Mine stalled for months. Had to chop her to pieces but she’s finally decided to get her shit together.
Why do we watch you? Because your funny! And of course you know your stuff. ❄️💚🙃
Hahaha, thank you Judy
Lovely plants 🪴

Me: WHY ARE ALL HIS PLANTS GROWING SO LONG?
Also Me: oh right I cut and sell mine constantly.

Hahahaha :D Which I made you do xD Trust me, your Silver Dollar and Penny's Treat put a shame to mine.

Yup, I like you!
Awww
My favorite is your dennissii ‘Frida’! I have it at the top of my wish list😻
She is worth it
Omg!! You are Soo informative and entertaining. 🤣
Hahaha :D Glad to hear I am entertaining! :D
I have recently fallen in love with Lacunosa. I look forward to your video when you reach 20 !

You had me cracking up you are so funny. Thank you!
Can’t wait for a Lacunosa round up 🌿🌿🌿
Same :D Gives me an excuse to get myself couple of more xD
I love your DIY Trellis!! Can you please tell me where I can buy the wire/mesh/fence or what is the name of it? I need it for my Hoyas too!!! 😍
My Hoya australis along with my caudata sumatra definitely were the growth champions this year. On the bottom is my imbricata that I still have not thrown out only because I’m still holding out hope she’ll do something…anything
My imbricata grows sometimes. Not a lot, but nothing beats that white patella that just refuses everything xD

I mean't the small leaved balansae is fast.
My Hoya “Rebecca” has been the best grower for me. Hoya Chicken Farm has done absolutely nothing in the six months I have had it.
I vote for the lacunosas, but the pandorata (sp?) is gorgeous.
She is! Especially pandurata from Vietnam
