Frickin BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! Mustangs are my first true love, 65' through 69', breath taking pieces of art. My second is the 67' Impala. I was just a girl who did not know what all the fuss was about, until I first laid eyes on my first mustang. I just knew, truly understood and to this day I am still madly in love with these cars.
@GeneralGHustler I think you're right, it would probably look better without the wing. It's still a great looking car either way. Thanks for taking a look at it!
Apparently you don't remember all the heat coming off those engines? If the heads have been bored, you really need to replace the whole cooling system. When the temp hits between 75-100, there is no way to stay cool in that thing.
I absolutely love that car. 69 Machs and Boss's are my favorites! I wound up finding a 1970 Mach 1 with a worked 357 W with a 4 spd manual that I scraped up to buy back in '99 at 19 yrs old. It's the same thing other than the headlights/taillights and quarter panel air scoops. I still have it stored away and still love that car very much and are finally in the position to restore her to be even nicer and stronger than when I got her. Beautiful car man, thanks for posting this.
One I'll have one and all original except for the motor and such but as for the body of these cars are perfect and I can't believe people change the way they look there're fine the way they are.
I want that exact car....I currently don't own my own vehicle I just drive work trucks and stuff, and to be honest this is the only car I would ever purchase for myself, if my job never required me to drive I would not drive, unless I could afford this car of course.
When I was18 I had the thrill and honor to ride to work in my friends 69 Mach 1 Mustang. I often wondered what happened to it. One day I drove by my old friends house and to my dismay it's in a falling down old garage covered in filth and tires looked flat. The owner won't sell it so that's where it'll stay and die.
My cousin had one of these it was red. He rolled after he jumped on it coming out of the drive in movie theater. He hit the median. Later he got another body and switched the interior and motor.
I know their similar because I have both of them but just because their both functional with 69 doesn't mean it's the stock version & other words 100% 69 Mustang (talking about the reverse lights)
I bought the same car standard shift for $800.00 in 1972.... all i did to it was through some Mohawk 60's and 40's on her and she was mint. Destroyed the ring gear and sold it for $500.00 ......She rode like a buck board but chirped like a canary..
They built the car for him then he turns around and sells it?? What a ungrateful jerk foose should take the car back! I have a prowler and a custom rod f100 that was my dads since he was in his teens that was built to look like Eleanor and I tell you what that would be the last thing I sell its not just a car or truck its all the memories will
do you (or anyone else) know if that spoiler on the back end was factory or aftermarket? I dont know why, but I just dont like the spoiler being there- it would have to go if I was lucky enough to own one....
