Too bad you weren't higher to turn from the North you would've had a great view of Downtown Boston. Loved your video. YOUR COUSIN FROM BAAAHHHSTON! Just kidding. I'd be in Heaven seeing all this. My camera would be going crazy! Great work!!!!
Luck mostly haha. Also, a lot of the trips is take for the channel are solely for that. So, I’m usually flying just to fly. Sometimes, if the weather looks bad, with all the eased change rules, I’ll just move them to a different day. Thanks for the time stamps on the points of interest. I’ll pin this so others can see it easier.
@@sla31 I don't subscribe to many but you're really top best. Loved flying with you as I love seeing the major cities from the air. Thanks again and have fun!

I watch these videos because I love to fly, but only get to a few times a year. Your camera angle makes me feel like I'm actually on the plane. Thanks for the great videos. Perfect landing by the pilot!
Very relaxing flight. Pilot was spot on with extremely light smooth touchdown. Highly enjoy your flights as I fly ghostly with you lol. I take the flights with you I'll never take but enjoy your superb camera skills. 🥰
Lots of familiar landmarks seen in North Charlotte, my neighborhood area @ 26:00, I-77 after that, the big 485-85 interchange @ 27:40, and Charlotte Motor Speedway @ 28:00.
I love CLT. Lovely place, friendly people, easy to get through. Comfortable rocking chairs in the atrium. And I love the Airbus 321. Looking forward to my trip coming up soon. 🛩❤🛩💖🛩❤ (Oh look! I can see my house!) Thanks as always for sharing your wonderful adventures! ❤🛩💖
1:43:55 I hate it when flight attendants say "we"re on final approach" when the aircraft isn't on final approach. "Final approach" (for larger aircraft doing an instrument approach) is when the aircraft makes it last shallow turn to intercept the localizer beam, which guides them straight to the runway. The final approach leg usually starts about five to seven miles from the runway threshold. For this flight, you can see the aircraft making its turn onto "final" right at the 1:51:08 mark as it passes over the town of Hull, Massachusetts.
Also, 1:28-1:29 or thereabouts is Bridgeport, Stratford, Milford area along the Connecticut, Long Island Sound. I've taken some great pictures flying into LGA Hudson River visual approach as well as the Brooklyn, Queens 'Expressway", the "tanks" which are now gone approach which is nice but nowhere as clear and as close as the Hudson River approach with such a great view of the skyline. Also, I'm sure you're quite familiar with the Potomac Runway 19 approach into Reagan National (DCA) with that quick but beautiful view of the National Mall. Obviously, IMO those are the two most beautiful approaches in the country. Hobby and Love can be beautiful as well although the Houston skyline of "blocks" looks rather 1960's sterile domino land. I wish the downtown cluster of LA was closer to the LAX approaches similar to looking down on the two Ontario runways about seventy miles out from KLAX. Chi ORD one never knows how they're going to bring you in although the redesign of the runways and new ones years ago the chances are still an inbound over Lake Michigan. Seeing your work is enjoyable to view!
What I find amazing is at 1:04:28, Freeze midway on Left edge and in a 4:20PM pattern you will see a very small sliver of green which is the National Mall. Follow toward you and you will see a very small white dot. That is the Dome of the U.S. Capitol!
Wow this is awesome!! my favorite is full flight video,.... hopefully there will be more full flight video soon, ..this is intense and nice my friend 😃👍
Can I, yes. Have I considered it, yes. I don’t though for several reasons. First, it just takes a really long time to go through and find all of the communications as you’re switched from ground to tower to departure to centers, etc. And frankly, I don’t have that kind of time to put into editing. I do everything on this channel by myself. Planning, traveling, filming, editing, uploading, rendering etc. it’s all a one-man show. And, I do it all in addition to having a regular full-time job, and a family that includes a one-year-old daughter. And second, i’ve always tried to keep my videos as pure as possible. They’re not designed to be trip reports, reviews, or anything like that. It’s designed to just be about the aviation. And I want it to be as close to the actual flight that I experienced as possible. And of course, unless you are specifically paying for Wi-Fi, to listen to ATC on liveATC.net as you fly, then you don’t have access to that as a passenger. You used to on United. I honestly don’t know if they still have that available or not…. Either way, for now, with the amount of time I have to be able to put into this, it’s something I have decided not to pursue.
Such an awesome view of New York City! Too bad he wasn't just a tad bit East to capture lower Manhattan skyscrapers and more of Queens and Brooklyn. We can feel the subtle throttling back about 180 or so NM out of Boston.
In just one month from today I will getting on the American Airlines flight for the first time in almost 20 years. I flown from New York many times and usually it has been to the Dominican Republic.; but on different airlines. The other countries that I have visited were served by their airline services. At this moment I'm in the Dominican Republic. After a two and a half years stay I'm finally going back to New York.
What a spectacular day for a sightseeing trip up the scenic East Coast. Great view of Baltimore, home of the Ravens, quickly followed by Philadelphia; home of brotherly 💔 love(unless your unlucky to walk down "Kennington St.")And then an amazing view of Manhattan-where if you shoot 🔫somebody in self defense, they arrest you.(let's not forget it's also home of the NY. Jets as well as the NY Football Giants‼️😅
Honestly amazed at the phone not overheating! I use the Pixel 5 and 6, and often get the overheating warning. On another note, what exact mount are you using? Got one from Amazon, and it's causing jittery footage during takeoff and even during the flight.
Preventing the camera from overheating is a part of it. Picking a seat on the soft light side is the key. If your on the direct sun side, the camera will overheat no question. As for a mount, I don’t use one. I hold the camera by hand. This is the only way I’ve been able to eliminate the jitters.
@@sla31 Thank you for the tip, didn't think about which side of the plane! And wow, given the length of your videos, you must have phenomenal arm and hand strength after holding the phone up for the entire flights.
Surprisingly I have not. It is on my list of things to do for the channel. However, Delta is the best option for me, and I have yet to find a good, mostly daylight flight. A lot of what Delta runs domestically are red eyes.
It’s going to be great. Nothing to be nervous about. Just make sure you show up with plenty of time, wait for your group to be called to board, and enjoy it.
I have a job, that pays me money, which I then use to buy tickets. You know, regular pay for labor type of deal 😂. Seriously though, I have a decent job with a good schedule, and it allows me some extra income, that I spend on this channel. Which means I spend it on flights and equipment. I don’t travel for work, I don’t work for any airline, and I pay for everything you see on here out of my own pocket. I do make some off the ads that play on the videos, which all goes back into the the channel as well.
Have you heard United Airlines is buying 15 supersonic jets from Boom Technology since the discontinued of Concorde (used by Air France and British Airways) in 2003? They gonna plan the service in 2029.
I did see that. As cool as it is, I give it a very small chance of ever actually materializing. Many companies have tried to enter the supersonic commercial game since Concorde, and they have all failed. Maybe this is the time it works out, but I will believe it when I see the first aircraft actually painted in united colors.
I understand that not everyone is familiar with the FAA airport codes, but I’m limited to 100 characters in a video title. So I literally can’t spell it out in the title. There’s simple not enough room. If I were to type out Charlotte Douglas International Airport to Boston Logan International Airport, that’s 3/4th of my title right there. So, that’s why I use the FAA codes in the title. I then list the full information with the codes in the description.
