2. Where are you filming this video from? I live in the Charlotte area and go plane spotting quite often, but never in that location. I would love to try something new! 🎥📷
3. When the new airport overlook opens in late spring- early summer of 2024, would you consider filming a video from there? The two parallel runways would provide great close-up shots. 🛫

Thanks for the kind comment! This video was filmed from CLT Hourly Parking Deck. It’s a great location, but does cost money to park there. Whenever the new overlook opens I’ll sure check it out and post new content from that location. Fingers crossed it will be as good maybe better than the last one we all knew. Again thanks for your comment! Unfortunately there’s no new content coming soon, but I may return back when time allows.
Well, it's been a while, hope you're doing well. The new overlook opens today, and from what I can tell (I haven't been there in person yet), you can see both 18C/36C and 18R/36L, and the other runway they're building, 19C/1C. There's also a USAir 1016 memorial, and an F4 on display. Even if you don't want to post videos from there, I still think it would be cool to go and see the new location. I'm going to be going soon, and I will report back with my findings.
I could watch this all day. Great camera work. Lucky you, for being there. I grew up in NJ, within walking distance of Newark Liberty. And later in life, use take my boys out, to areas under the glideslope, where they could see, hear, and smell the planes within a couple hundred feet... Great times... ✈✈✈
I bet during those days plane spotting was way cooler than it is now. These aircraft nowadays seem to be getting quieter ever year not to mention the amount of freedom taken away after 2001. It's crazy when you go to your home airport just to sit and watch planes after some years how much has changed. Great times indeed my friend. Happy New Years!

I actually live in Charlotte and I recently went to the temporary plane spotting spot.
Where did you film this because this looks more fun than just watching the planes go over you and cant get a well landing point.
On top of the hourly deck, you have to pay though
