This aircraft was configured with 187 seats. While that IS on the higher side for an A321, many are configured for well over 200pax. Actually, AAirlines has A321's in their fleet with 208 seats...surlrising for a NON-LCC or ULCC carrier. However, depending on how they have it configured, (I believe this particular one had 16 biz class seats), even at only 187 total, airlines often skimp on the economy seats to allow more space for the biz seats, & when they add in the Main Cabin Extra like on your flight, they're DEF gonna have some cramped Main Cabin seats. It's all designed so that the next time you fly you opt for the bigger, more 💰 seats. Kinda beat if you ask me. Enjoyed the vid though...think I might have to head to the mall & grab me some Auntie Anne's, lol...looked delicious!!
@@thejazzguy13 exactly... I was on a ULCC flight outta Pgh. last year on an Allegiant A319 to Savannah, GA. Even they were hitting close to their exit limit...160 seats, all economy. I booked the the flight only 10 days out, & since the fare allowed me to request a seat (but no checked luggage), I booked it due to the $79 fare. It was the best price outta KPIT at the time. Return trip was $94. Had to book it that way b/c Allegiant only does point to point fares, so a 1hr 40min gate to gate flight, it was just about worth it. If I had to do it over again though, I would've taken Delta, the only other carrier offering competitive RT fares, but I'd need to book 3wks out, which wasn't an option. After only 1hr on the A319, I had to stand up & stretch back in the galley, much to the dislike of the FA who was silently sitting back there reading a novel, likely hoping nobody would bother her. Anyway enjoyed the vid, look fwd to the next one 😉👍👍.
Been having a blast binge watching your videos. Have flew out of Charlotte many times doing the old US Air now American run from CLT to ORD. I love CLT, but some of the staff are not accommodating towards sight impaired travelers. Love your videos keep up the great work.
To be honest, i think its unsafe that they left the bright lights on for takeoff, in case of a crash/accident, your eyes would not be used to the dark, so you wouldn't be able to see anything. Not to mention it was a night flight and they left the lights on anyways... Anyways, great vids, i really enjoy binging them while I can't fly due to the pandemic. Keep up the great work man!
Great vid man as always. I was going to mention that fact that I haven’t be delayed for four flights now then I saw the first part of the vid, the. Saw the second part and changed my mind. So congrats on not getting delayed.😂😂 The A321 is one of my favorite “midsized” jets besides the 737. CLT seems to be a pretty nice airport

Hi again Jazzguy, Great video as always! :) I hate it when they don’t dim the cabin lights during night flights, makes it so much harder to film out the window.. There he goes again with all the milk and sugar in his coffee lol 😆 Regards, Brendan
The area where your gate was has finished major renovations, and is what the rest of C will look like. The area that hasn't been touched yet is the lower C gates (C2, 3, 4, 5 and 7)
@thejazzguy13_Aviation I was wondering if we can get in contact about tips on how you make your videos, because I’m flying soon and I want to know how to make a good flight review video.
I find it weird that this is from Charlotte. In a few weeks in flying American Airlines from Charlotte to New York City. (Not JFK). I’m glad I know what Charlotte airport looks like now.

All about the money unfortunately...but yah you're right, Spirit/Frontier do cram even more on their A321s. Thanks for the comment and for watching!

The LaGuardia Comment 😹
What filming app you use
Takeoff is really fun and landing can be a little rough if they come in way to fast they slam on the brakes to slow the aircraft down

They offer drinks on this flight?
What was th local time?
I am surprised that American airlines don't follow the same boarding process as southwest airlines and they do open seating and bags fly for free
can you do pdx - msp delta airlines ?
how long was your connection in charlotte this time
1 1/2 hr roughly
@@thejazzguy13 so a normal layover try flying to omaha sometime in the future on southwest and have a layover in chicago midway or st louis
Try getting hot chocolate with The cookies, they’re rlly good together
