I bought one about 3 months ago fro $3500. It had a new 18 hp vanguard put in it from the same company you are talking about. I love mine. Just wish it were a touch bigger and a touch more power. I can live with it though.

Your case is different than mine. Maybe its newer? I think tag plate says it's a 64 1816A not sure it's hard to read. I've watched your other videos and your case is different from mine. Yours uses rods to push the pumps on where mine uses a electric PTO clutch on the engine and pumps are independently adjusted for tension. I have the auto clutch on it right now cause the tab that stops the pto face plate from spinning broke off and ripped the wires out of it. Mine came with 2 running 16hp techumseh single. Both fire right up and run strong but I find it is easy to run out of power while working it or climbing steep hills with a full bucket of soil or gravel. Counter weight is another issue!! It can lift way more than it can safely lift. I picked my sons 87 Chevy 4x4 rear end up off the ground as brakes were locked up from sitting but the machine wanted to tip forwards. I do plan on loading the rear tires with antifreeze for more rear weight and been thinking on welding 2 2ft posts onto the rear so I can add old style cast iron gym weights to try to counter balance the bucket weight. I did use it all this past winter up here in Ontario Canada to clear my large driveway and 3 of my neighbors driveways with tire chains on rear wheels only.
I had chains on all 4 but found I was using the bucket to keep front wheels off the ground so it would turn tighter so took front chains off.

I bought one with a predator engine on it but the person who did it messed up the pto and it is engaged all the time do you have any part numbers for the electric pto I might go that route can’t use it this way as it moves when you start it with the pto engaged

Did you finish your project? I have the same machine, but with a Kohler engine, curious if you ever solved lack of power problem with drive pumps?
