I had to get a new legion from waranty because the triggers had reading issues which made it hard to play racing games 80% read 100% on the brakes. Im getting a new one tomorrow but if its still bad is it worth to return it for a ally x?
@okestgamer that wasn't the issue they where 0 100 the deadzone setting wasn't the problem. I actually meant the triggers btw im sorry for that mistake
does anyone know how to apply the new Legion Space update? my unit was only a few hours old, Legion Space auto updated & it just crashes on launch. the only way to get Legion Space back is to reinstall the old one from the install exe on their website. the annoying thing is you cant turn off auto-update or skip it so you can only open Legion Space up after you put the device in Airplane Mode! i really want to turn on the battety optimizer (glad they implemented it) not great for first impressions but i like it enough to return my Ally today!
That’s super odd, I wonder if the issue is occurring when it’s updating from a few versions older. That or maybe it also needs a bios update. I’ll pass along this info to the Lenovo team though as it’s been said by a few people.
Ally X is a pass for me. Just got the AMD X1, so that's going to be my handheld of choice for a bit. At least until my right thumb atrophies and falls off.
@@okestgamer 100% external monitor will support it external monitors are Horizontal screens. And that's why you go with Asus ROG ally native Landscape screen
@@liamfeatherstone924 yes, I often play with my portable monitor and egpu. I’ve also been using the FSR 3 mod any chance I can get so I haven’t really paid much attention to afmf
@okestgamer iamnkinda worried it was a software update, it was good while downloading all the game clients and then I updated the legion space and then quite quickly after that I had the first random shutdown. Super frustrating trying to delete all my personal accounts of a device before returning it when it dosnt last 2 mins 🤣
I had the legion go and sold it 2 months later because I can't stand it's weight and the sharp edge hurts the palm of my hand so much, everything else I loved about the device. I just hope it was more comfortable. I bought ayaneo geek after and I loved how comfortable it is
So I have the old asus rog ally z1 extreme. I have a 2 tb ssd in it, can I just take it out and put it into the ally x and it’ll just work? Or are there system files or things that won’t since it’s a different machine? Not too computer savvy . Info would be appreciated. Thanks
It will work BUT you need an adapter 2230 to 2280 extender so you can fully secure it. I’m in the same boat I’m debating either selling my ally z1x with the 2tb ssd or swap it over to the ally x
From what I gathered in the video from asus it might not be just plug and play. In theory it should work, but there may be some slightly different system drivers which are not identical. It can’t hurt to try it out though, and if it doesn’t than you can just clone

Zeenix is not the company name, it’s the handheld model name. The company name is Tec Toy.
Thanks for the clarification
New Lenovo update looks awesome ❤❤❤
Also super stoked for my ally x to arrive.
Thanks for keeping us updated brother

No problem, I agree that it looks much cleaner than the original look.

Legion Go. It's the most amazing gaming pc ever.
It’s a great handheld, one of my favourites. Sorry for late reply!
This recap is OKest with me!
Is it OKest to reply 3 weeks late?

What I would suggest is going into the controller settings and you can actually adjust the triggers. Might help fix this if it happens again

Lenogo legion Go update can drive users get wrong...there is not any hardware update, just a legion space update...
I can update the video title. I tried to make it clear with the thumbnail saying “Lenovo software overhaul” but maybe some just read the video title.
just 2-3 week late with Lenovo news :D was hoping there is new update for actual custom TDP control LOL it is old one xD

No. They probably never will.

I had the update when i got my legion go two days ago, due it turns it self off within a few minutes it got returned in 24hrs
That’s super weird, so it just randomly shuts itself down while playing? Could be another issue as well, maybe a defective unit.

but you choose what you feel most comfortable with ^^
