@@spamtong.spamton8419 well because jevil is more of a bullet hell type spamton is an attack pattern type and can be defeated through practice and pattern memorization, there are a few random bullet hell? moves though [ im doing snowgrave spamton neo btw, so thats why i make it seem harder than you probably had it ] jevil throws everything at you at random, spades, random auto tracking, heart box/chaos box, random auto tracking, carousel, well, pretty easy to dodge when i learned that the head doesnt have a hitbox, and also an attack pattern type. devils knife, attack pattern and the second form with the red devilsknife can be considered random, the uhhh spades that go around you and spin around, random spades and can be considered an attack pattern, diamond attack, auto tracks you, its a bullet hell. devilsknife final chaos, the first one is somewhat easy to dodge but random so yeah, the second one, its a pattern, middle, left/right, middle, and it ends. spamtons 3 row head attack is random but can be easily conquered by charge shots, the second one is random but also easy to defeat, second form though is pretty fast so you have to concentrate a bit, pipis launcher attack is pretty easy if you can aim and predict where pipis goes, second form is faster, phone call attack, i have a hard time with that since i have to dodge AND shoot at the same time, second form is even harder for me, eyes, nose, mouth attack can be considered a bullet hell but at the same time pattern, spamton neo mech attack is pretty easy, and the final phase / call for help is also pretty easy and can be considered bullet hell

This game has boss battles ranging from a living checker with giant legs, to a man on a junk robot in an acid lake, to an insane clown dancing on a carousel, to a glitchy spam program that's trying to get your money the whole battle. Deltarune is f*cking awesome.
I love that the themes in chp1 have this "medieval dungeon" kinda vibe since the world is based on a board game kingdome. Meanwhile in chp2 all the themes feel extremely funky and groovy because.... y'know. Thats how the internet is like

I love watching Let’s Plays and seeing people just stop to appreciate the music at the beginning of the fight. Just a quick jam out before going back to beat the boss
The thing that's cool about Lancer's theme is it sounds like casino music, which seems weird until you think for a couple of seconds and realize that Lancer is a playing card, and even references gambling at times like when he says "You got the luck of the draw this time!"

Honestly, chaos king's theme is one of my favorites in deltarune, ik there are songs like big shot or the world revolving which are the most popular ones but I really love the feeling that chaos king's theme gives, it shows that it's the final battle and has some parts that just give you the same feeling that ralsei's story's give you
Major issue I feel is the theme loses its massive bop potential cause it's based on the area theme, so you've been spoon fed the majority of it as you go around. However I love as you progress, it turns more "Heroic". Very good theme. And kinda wish he got more of that, a heroic theme for a character like that is a good irony. Threatened to harm his son. Locking people up. But it's all for the greater good, so to him he's the Hero.
He had it in chapter 1. People thought "haha funny mettaton legs character with good battle theme." Then spamton came along and everyone forgot about chapter 1.

I love how every boss's theme reflects their personality or mood so perfectly, K. Round's theme is simple yet effective, Lancer's is impulsive and bouncy, Spade King's is menacing and intense, Jevil's is radiating chaotic energy, Sweet Cap'n Cakes is Neon Disco Themed, Berdly's dramatic yet calculated, Spamton's is radiating chaotic energy aswell but 10x as much as Jevil's, Rouxxls's is a Shanty tune remix, Queen's synthesized and fast paced tune, and the latter's final fantasy-esque endgame feel, Spamton NEO's is radiating chaotic energy aswell but more of a finale/climax feel than normal Spamton's
BIG SHOT does have a couple very noticeable leitmotifs in it, you can hear the same segment as napstablook's family has in their fights, as well as mettaton EX and NEO's; something which heavily implies the lightner who made the body was mettaton. It's a nice touch :)
Spamton NEO's theme sounds wild and happy, perfect for someone who has just discovered freedom. By contrast, normal Spamton's theme sounds chaotic but also intense, perfect for someone who feels trapped both literally and metaphorically.
The world revolving is and will forever be my favorite, it’s nice and long, it’s not to repetitive, it fits jevil well with it being chaotic and circus like at the same time, and the boss fight it self is difficult and fun
I absolutely love how when you listen to toby's songs they sound cool and all but when you put on headphones they become completely different songs and become 1000× better
I think you could say that for every song in existance though. With headphones it's impossible to miss even the tiniest details, meanwhile without it much of the song would be drown out by outside noise.
Or you could use a speaker and a subwoofer. I primarily play this on my tv on my switch and I like to use the speakers on stereo. It's not a perfect substitute but it is pretty strong.
I do really appreciate how Chapter 2 really amped up the difficulty on the bosses. Chapter 1 I only really died to Jevil. While in Chapter 2 many bosses took me multiple attempts. Even Rouxls Kaard gets a decently challenging Boss, though it doesn't matter if you lose or win.
@@StupidNPCBoar I died once to Sweet Cap'n & KK, I died to regular Spamton once, I died to Queen I believe 4 or 5 times, and took the same amount of attempts on Spamton Neo. Though with Spamton Neo I did the fight again to find out the different results for mercy and kill. I didn't die to Rouxls Kaard, but technically lost "Rouxls Kaard had the Tank". Meanwhile, in Chapter 1 I had died once to Clover............ "I started the battle with low health", and I died to Jevil god knows how many times, double digits for sure. From my experience, while Jevil was harder than any single boss in Chapter 2, the difficulty of the regular bosses was amped up. I didn't include the Clover kill initially since again I basically went into it with low health and no food. Though that was admittedly the same case with Sweet Cap'n & KK.
I never realized how hard Chaos King slapped until just now And I love it (Oh, and all the other boss themes are fucking amazing too) Edit: By this i mean the song is good, not the actual character slaps you really hard
One small change I noticed about the music from Chapter 2 is that the music sounds more mechanical in a way (I mean... obviously, right?), which varies a lot from the more dramatic and bouncy music of Chapter 1. Kinda makes you wonder what theme of music Chapter 3 will have... I'm thinking cheesy B-film soundtracks.
Chaos king is a song I didn’t think much of when the first chapter released but tbh, it’s so good. I love the little leitmotif of lancers theme but all distorted and more “metal” sounding. Until chapter two when you can find out that Lancer wouldn’t have died if his dad threw him off the castle, the scene right before this boss was so dark, a dad almost killing his kid.
Between Undertale and Deltarune chapter 1, the second one has a special place in my heart. It's the first one I got to play with 0 Spoilers. and gotta say, discovering nearly everything by myself felt soo Good and specially NEO.
I didn't really realize until just now how intertwined Berdly's theme is with the Queen's. The beginning of Berdly's boss music has the beginning melodies of the Queen's theme in the background, and the B sections of both battle themes are based on the same melody. I know Toby loves his leitmotifs but damn
its because Berdly is the queens servant throughout the chapter, and at the end of the game, Berdly is controlled by the queen with a wire, being the only attacker of the two.
Berdly is the attacker, Queen is the support player. Berdly is somewhat slow but has strong attacks (or at least compared to most of Queen’s attacks), while Queen herself is agile, deals chip damage when she does attack (and actually hits), and sometimes even summons a shield that protects her from taking damage for a moment!
Why tf Toby so good at making music? He took the spamton theme which literally sounded like a joke piece and turned it into one of the best songs I've heard come out of a game

K Round and Knock You Down have to be possibly the most underrated themes imo. K Round has the smooth continuous beat leading into a ramp of energy that just fits his once smooth, small design into his bigger form and KYD just has the perfect robot boxing theme that just hits the nail on the head.
Toby Fox has to be the one dog that produces boss music that all slap. This madlad just creates yet another masterpiece and proceeds to slink back into hibernation. God love him

Well, not EVERY Toby song is a banger, though he has an unusually high density of bangers in his games, there are some ambient/mood tracks that fit the scene but are pretty boring to listen to on their own (looking at you, Ooo and Long Elevator) . Not necessarily a bad thing, since these provide contrast and make the bangers slap even harder.

People are comparing jevil and spamton neo, so im gonna break down the boss fights. Jevil is a fast-paced mini bullet hell boss. His attack patterns are unpredictable through your first few attempts in the boss. A lot of attacks overwhelm you and then corner you. Sometimes, the attacks just go borderline apeshit (Im talking about both carousel attacks) Personally, this fight took me 3 days and over 100 attempts. Spamton NEO is a boss that is almost like the mettaton fight from undertale. The fight is really unbalanced as there are some attacks that are easy and some that my stupid brain can’t handle. You need to focus on making way through the obstacles by shooting them, as well as dodging support bullets. Such as that attack where spamton with the telephone closes on you. You need to focus on keeping him at bay, as well as dodging the telephone projectiles. Took me like 1 attempt bruv Tbh, Jevil fight was a lot harder at the time but thats just because I sucked. With the spamton neo fight, I have gotten a lot of bullet hell experience. In the jevil fight ralsei just keeps dying and you gotta keep gobblin those healing items. In spamton neo fight, you literally just snap or fight while ralsei performs his sacred forbidden healing ritual of the west. In terms of attacks, spamton NEO may be harder, but in terms of the fight itself, jevil is harder. Pretty bad breakdown but at least (most) people get the point. Anyway DO YOU WANT SOME [[water]]

Well they're only comparing them for being the hardest bosses in their chapter. Spamton NEO is easier than jevil, but is still the hardest boss in chapter 2. And I think jevil is as strong as snowgrave route spamton.
Whenever I played Undertale or Deltarune for the first time, Im completely immersed and the music goes to the background, but I have to say, Attack of the Killer Queen made me forget all that and just chill in the maybe third turn or so, god damn it was a real banger for me
I might be the only person who's more hyped for the boss music Toby does than the Actual games themselves... They are True bangers and very MEMORABLE. EDIT: The games are fantastic as well, but those songs really bring it altogether.
In my opinion great music does a lot to make a game memorable. And hearing the music for the first time in game multiplies the effect the music has, even on later hearings, as it creates that connection with the emotions you might have been feeling at that part of the game. So I look forward to both.

The thing that's cool about Lancer's theme is it sounds like casino music, which seems weird until you think for a couple of seconds and realize that Lancer is a playing card, and even references gambling at times like when he says "You got the luck of the draw this time!"

Honestly, chaos king's theme is one of my favorites in deltarune, ik there are songs like big shot or the world revolving which are the most popular ones but I really love the feeling that chaos king's theme gives, it shows that it's the final battle and has some parts that just give you the same feeling that ralsei's story's give you

Major issue I feel is the theme loses its massive bop potential cause it's based on the area theme, so you've been spoon fed the majority of it as you go around.
However I love as you progress, it turns more "Heroic". Very good theme. And kinda wish he got more of that, a heroic theme for a character like that is a good irony.

ikr, the whole theme just proves that rouxls is finally living up to his true comic relief character potential-
I love how every boss's theme reflects their personality or mood so perfectly, K. Round's theme is simple yet effective, Lancer's is impulsive and bouncy, Spade King's is menacing and intense, Jevil's is radiating chaotic energy, Sweet Cap'n Cakes is Neon Disco Themed, Berdly's dramatic yet calculated, Spamton's is radiating chaotic energy aswell but 10x as much as Jevil's, Rouxxls's is a Shanty tune remix, Queen's synthesized and fast paced tune, and the latter's final fantasy-esque endgame feel, Spamton NEO's is radiating chaotic energy aswell but more of a finale/climax feel than normal Spamton's
BIG SHOT does have a couple very noticeable leitmotifs in it, you can hear the same segment as napstablook's family has in their fights, as well as mettaton EX and NEO's; something which heavily implies the lightner who made the body was mettaton. It's a nice touch :)

Spamton NEO's theme sounds wild and happy, perfect for someone who has just discovered freedom. By contrast, normal Spamton's theme sounds chaotic but also intense, perfect for someone who feels trapped both literally and metaphorically.

The world revolving is and will forever be my favorite, it’s nice and long, it’s not to repetitive, it fits jevil well with it being chaotic and circus like at the same time, and the boss fight it self is difficult and fun

I think you could say that for every song in existance though. With headphones it's impossible to miss even the tiniest details, meanwhile without it much of the song would be drown out by outside noise.

I do really appreciate how Chapter 2 really amped up the difficulty on the bosses. Chapter 1 I only really died to Jevil. While in Chapter 2 many bosses took me multiple attempts.

@@StupidNPCBoar I died once to Sweet Cap'n & KK, I died to regular Spamton once, I died to Queen I believe 4 or 5 times, and took the same amount of attempts on Spamton Neo. Though with Spamton Neo I did the fight again to find out the different results for mercy and kill. I didn't die to Rouxls Kaard, but technically lost "Rouxls Kaard had the Tank".
Meanwhile, in Chapter 1 I had died once to Clover............ "I started the battle with low health", and I died to Jevil god knows how many times, double digits for sure.
From my experience, while Jevil was harder than any single boss in Chapter 2, the difficulty of the regular bosses was amped up.
I didn't include the Clover kill initially since again I basically went into it with low health and no food. Though that was admittedly the same case with Sweet Cap'n & KK.

One small change I noticed about the music from Chapter 2 is that the music sounds more mechanical in a way (I mean... obviously, right?), which varies a lot from the more dramatic and bouncy music of Chapter 1. Kinda makes you wonder what theme of music Chapter 3 will have... I'm thinking cheesy B-film soundtracks.
It depends on the setting off the game for the OST to fit I mean Toby is making these tracks to fit the characters and the setting so it makes sense

Chaos king is a song I didn’t think much of when the first chapter released but tbh, it’s so good. I love the little leitmotif of lancers theme but all distorted and more “metal” sounding. Until chapter two when you can find out that Lancer wouldn’t have died if his dad threw him off the castle, the scene right before this boss was so dark, a dad almost killing his kid.

Between Undertale and Deltarune chapter 1, the second one has a special place in my heart. It's the first one I got to play with 0 Spoilers. and gotta say, discovering nearly everything by myself felt soo Good and specially NEO.

I didn't really realize until just now how intertwined Berdly's theme is with the Queen's. The beginning of Berdly's boss music has the beginning melodies of the Queen's theme in the background, and the B sections of both battle themes are based on the same melody. I know Toby loves his leitmotifs but damn
its because Berdly is the queens servant throughout the chapter, and at the end of the game, Berdly is controlled by the queen with a wire, being the only attacker of the two.

Berdly is the attacker, Queen is the support player.
Berdly is somewhat slow but has strong attacks (or at least compared to most of Queen’s attacks), while Queen herself is agile, deals chip damage when she does attack (and actually hits), and sometimes even summons a shield that protects her from taking damage for a moment!

I love how Big Shot is just a mashup of lietmotifs from other characters. I heard some of Undyne's theme in there, Jevil, and the Mad Dummy, and that's likely not all

K Round and Knock You Down have to be possibly the most underrated themes imo. K Round has the smooth continuous beat leading into a ramp of energy that just fits his once smooth, small design into his bigger form and KYD just has the perfect robot boxing theme that just hits the nail on the head.

Well, not EVERY Toby song is a banger, though he has an unusually high density of bangers in his games, there are some ambient/mood tracks that fit the scene but are pretty boring to listen to on their own (looking at you, Ooo and Long Elevator) . Not necessarily a bad thing, since these provide contrast and make the bangers slap even harder.

People are comparing jevil and spamton neo, so im gonna break down the boss fights.
Jevil is a fast-paced mini bullet hell boss. His attack patterns are unpredictable through your first few attempts in the boss. A lot of attacks overwhelm you and then corner you. Sometimes, the attacks just go borderline apeshit (Im talking about both carousel attacks)
Personally, this fight took me 3 days and over 100 attempts.
Spamton NEO is a boss that is almost like the mettaton fight from undertale. The fight is really unbalanced as there are some attacks that are easy and some that my stupid brain can’t handle. You need to focus on making way through the obstacles by shooting them, as well as dodging support bullets. Such as that attack where spamton with the telephone closes on you. You need to focus on keeping him at bay, as well as dodging the telephone projectiles.

Tbh, Jevil fight was a lot harder at the time but thats just because I sucked. With the spamton neo fight, I have gotten a lot of bullet hell experience. In the jevil fight ralsei just keeps dying and you gotta keep gobblin those healing items. In spamton neo fight, you literally just snap or fight while ralsei performs his sacred forbidden healing ritual of the west. In terms of attacks, spamton NEO may be harder, but in terms of the fight itself, jevil is harder.

I agree HOWEVER snowgenocide spamton is harder than jevil imo it took 2 days of pure grinding however jevil took me 2 days of casually playing though I think the reason I struggled so much is I didn’t beat spamton regularly before that

Well they're only comparing them for being the hardest bosses in their chapter. Spamton NEO is easier than jevil, but is still the hardest boss in chapter 2. And I think jevil is as strong as snowgrave route spamton.

I love how fast some of the boss themes are, especially in chapter 1 with Checker Dance, Lancer, and The World Revolving
How nice. King and Queen were the most fun and fair fights for me in Chapters 1 and 2. Their music only made the fights three times better.
Whenever I played Undertale or Deltarune for the first time, Im completely immersed and the music goes to the background, but I have to say, Attack of the Killer Queen made me forget all that and just chill in the maybe third turn or so, god damn it was a real banger for me

I might be the only person who's more hyped for the boss music Toby does than the Actual games themselves... They are True bangers and very MEMORABLE.
EDIT: The games are fantastic as well, but those songs really bring it altogether.
In my opinion great music does a lot to make a game memorable.
And hearing the music for the first time in game multiplies the effect the music has, even on later hearings, as it creates that connection with the emotions you might have been feeling at that part of the game.
So I look forward to both.
For me is both, I love some good game with extraordinary music, and Toby manages to do both at the same time, Big shot and giga queen being a perfect example of it

Wrong, the difference is this is happy chaos. Ours is more like chaos that we don't like. It's like a band of 6 year olds trying to play the song. It's chaotic but not in a good way. And here there is a part that stands out more than the others while with ADHD it's just everything at the same volume with no change even if you try to grasp a thought.
