It's cool and the music is good but the story is a bit strange and the physical thing is a little rough around the edges. Still, really nice and I hope the creator polishes up everything. My recommendations for things to fix: The box sticking around after the move is over that happened primarily with Susie The weirdness that happened in the bottom box where speech appeared such as the line stars appearing after attacking The couple of poor graphics such as how the fire in the background of Ralsei's battle had only 2 sprites and how the Death animations for Susie and Ralsei appeared to be just pictures of them being erased with the eraser tool in photoshop Making Susie a bit harder, she seems way too easy with attacks that are really simple. Her special attack was just all the moves she had already done, nothing unique other than the last bit

I absolutely feel bad for her in this fangame, even tho the other characters are ironically the reason why she became a better person to begin with.
This mod feels more and more eerie as you re-watch this. 1) The idea it isn't Kris going postal and killing his former friends, but you as a player overtaking the control. For example, 19:48, but they ask "what have gotten into you" again and again. 2) Susie and Ralsei desperately calling you to stop, to settle it all out and just to talk as they still don't want to kill you. 3) 10:19 Susie assuming you are mad at her because of her being a bully and asking for forgiveness. 4) That Kris smile after the battle. 5) No matter if you actually continue until you kill both of them or you attempt to spare either of them, the result is the same. Moveover, Kris betrays and kill them off-guard, especially Ralsei. 6) Ralsei attempting to fight so hard when he is only one left so he gets tired to the point he can't resist anymore. 7) 14:12 Susie asking Kris in case they were never friends to just "make it quick" killing her. 8) 7:43 Susie telling that Kris has killed all the town. 9) Even after one of them dies, the other still takes you allegedly sparing their lifes at face value, as if nothing has happened at all and they haven't just lost a friend from the other friend. Look like they believe that Kris has returned the control from you. Probably I wouldn't call that a genius writing, but part of it were very good. Especially the first chapter. Sadly, after the point Susie or Ralsei is killed their character is ruined. Why should they believe that Kris would spare the remaining one after he has killed their friend? As one has said below: "Canon Susie said "there's people you just gotta fight", there's no reason for her to befriend someone who killed everyone she knows. And Ralsei, he know we are not Kris, why would he believes Kris would spare him?"
Kris from us I think has gone off the deep end and I embraced the role we forced on them as a killer. Also that many attacks when betrayal killing Ralsei without player input? That definitely was Kris going Postal for a brief moment

It is possible that the malevolent entity which takes control over Kris is identified as KILL. This conclusion is based on the observation that the word KILL appears alongside the attack gauge during combat. This is especially evident in the weird/nowgrave route. To see Kris so over the top Chara-like evil by their own volition is very ooc and a bit odd. That being said the entire point of this is the creator's own interpretation so who am I to stamp on it.

But they was talking about the gameplay, not the story (since all normal attacks are white, blue attacks suddenly appear might be able to trick someone who has already played UNDERTALE).
And we're just in Chapter 2 yet so we don't know if all UNDERTALE rules can't apply to DELTARUNE, rules like monsters (UNDERTALE main enemy) turn into dust when they die doesn't apply to DELTARUNE monsters, but it applies to darkners (the main enemy in this game). Blue attack means stop can apply to DELTARUNE because it doesn't hurt anything, but also doesn't confuse UNDERTALE players who are too familiar with that kind of attacks.

probably what was happening in a nutshell
Probably because Susie felt betrayed while Ralsei betrayed Kris.

Plot twist: Kris was trying to stop Ralsei from smoking

That's really... Sad and Depressing, even if Kris tries to spare them, they'll still turn to dust anyway.
I really like the fanmade "villain arc" that was made for Ralsei, incredibly good and a sort of counterpart to Flowey in Undertale
i really love the susie phase 2 of this fight it feels so humane to where she is basicly begging you to stop fighting her
truly makes it feel like your fighting one of your best friends which is sad.
It's cool and the music is good but the story is a bit strange and the physical thing is a little rough around the edges. Still, really nice and I hope the creator polishes up everything. My recommendations for things to fix:
The box sticking around after the move is over that happened primarily with Susie
The weirdness that happened in the bottom box where speech appeared such as the line stars appearing after attacking
The couple of poor graphics such as how the fire in the background of Ralsei's battle had only 2 sprites and how the Death animations for Susie and Ralsei appeared to be just pictures of them being erased with the eraser tool in photoshop
Making Susie a bit harder, she seems way too easy with attacks that are really simple. Her special attack was just all the moves she had already done, nothing unique other than the last bit
Yea, they should use the Snowgrave death effect instead of some boring 3-frame animation
Agreed with the susie buff
@@joelhoon1707 At least for Ralsei, because the effect is actually in the data of Chapter 1 too(Though unused), so we know that is just how darkeners are supposed to dust away.
Also, the fact that there's no way to spare them doesn't fit well. There should be a real way to spare everyone.
@@GumSkyloard The fangame probably tried to fit the thematic of deltarune that "no choices matter" but not having an option to really spare is just laziness.

As one has said below:
"Canon Susie said "there's people you just gotta fight", there's no reason for her to befriend someone who killed everyone she knows.
And Ralsei, he know we are not Kris, why would he believes Kris would spare him?"
On spare endings Kris goes against you to kill them.
Kris from us I think has gone off the deep end and I embraced the role we forced on them as a killer.
Also that many attacks when betrayal killing Ralsei without player input? That definitely was Kris going Postal for a brief moment
I really hope Toby Fox doesnt pay much attention to fan predictions and things like these, he totally seems like the type to rewrite major plotlines if someone got it too close.
